It's probably time to ditch the East/West championships. The 250's should run the full series, it's not like they're privateers anymore. Regional futures races makes sense.
No, they did not. Only Jett, Langston, and Fonseca have won East then West. Stewart won West then East, and every other rider has just stuck to the same coast or only won 1 title. So many people just saying stuff nowadays without doing the research.

I wouldn't call Hampshire "The next Gen". Also get rid of east / west and lets have all the good 250 guys race each other the whole series. Create the SX futures class and put those kids in to an east / west category if you must.
There's already too many bikes on the track every night. Adding another class every weekend would be a nightmare. 5 hour broadcast and a track that's unrideable by the start of the 250 main.
Since the man Steve has some leverage with the nets and safety. how abound covering the plywood and concrete with something so the riders don't die by simply going off track.
JO didn't start slow this year. Not your average JO. Championship is long... A lot of work to be done still. Deegan is still the favourite but menn don't sleep on JO. He is in it to win it.
Being said that about deegan in salt lake but if forkner was there he was leading Dallas before he crashed and it was after he passed deegan for the lead
As far as betting goes, not declaring a coast is probably better. Now, you can bet on who is riding what coast before you start betting on who wins. A whole new income strain for the offshore betting sites.
