Such great memories of the time back then. Byker got a bit darker later, but, the early ones were so innocent the 90's were just so great. Thanks for the Andi Peter's intro version.
I actually remembered watching this exact episode when I was 10. It's been over 30 years and I'm amazed by how familiar this was. Right from the recap at the beginning I knew. 😄
You ought to hear some of the stuff that pops up in Goggle Eyes (1993). In one episode a girl tells someone to P*** off while another sees Honeysuckle Weeks tell her mum she looks like a hooker! There were certainly some eye raising dialogue in kids shows back then.
I feel so old seeing this I still love it ❤
Loved Byker Grove when I was younger. Could happily watch them all again. Although in its final years, the show lost its magic.
That laugh was seared into my memory when i was a kid.

I used to watch these episodes when I was growing up!
@Nafi AB360 As time went by more light bulbs blew and Geoff couldn’t raise the funds to replace them.
I miss the 90s

The actor that played Gil is a motivational speaker now. Casper Berry
This episode was engrossing! Dying to see the next one. Love the "Twin Peaks" - esque music in the second scene
The 1900s were such a great time to be a child
what got me was the way most of the cast pronounced the word "Grove" !

She called her a “B****!” You can’t say that on children’s TV! What a scandal!
