My SHS had a lot of Nigerian students and my perception of them was not very positive unfortunately. It was strange because the female Nigerian students fitted in so well you couldn't pick them apart from the Ghanaian female students until they gave you their names. In my experience the Nigerian female students were reserved,hard working and never got into troubles with our school authorities. The Nigerian male students were mostly different. I will say about 30% of the Nigerian male students were excellent students and very good athletes who stayed out of trouble. The rest acted as if they wanted to be expelled from school or even get arrested.The male students who attended classes and did what they were supposed to do were easily some of our prize winning students but too many of them were not serious about their education and just too reckless with their lives.

Also, one difference I notice between Nigerian Christianity and that of Ghanaians is that we're less focused on "miracles" than Nigerians. Over here, Christianity is a lot more about money, success and teachings than miracles.
