Nothing better than a relaxing break away from home in a beautiful location, together with the enjoyment of a great new camera. Very interesting and informative video as always, Amy. I think I will have to try and get a look at the R5 Mk II as soon as I can.
Scotland really is an amazing place for photography! Lovely to hear you enjoyed the video and I would definitely recommend you have a play with the R5 II when you can, maybe even compare it against the original! Thanks for tuning in - Amy
Been loving mine so far! Really feels like the perfect Canon camera for me. Almost a little glad the R1 “only” had a 24mp sensor to make the decision easier. 😂
I would love one, only it is justifying it. I use an R5 and R6, both have problems with birds with the focus sticking on the background, I tried an R6ii and it still was slow picking up the subject and locking out of focus. I dare not spend xK only to find the R5ii still struggles, though I might be able to borrow one from Canon.
I'm more of a photographer than videographer personally, so I much prefer the R5 II for personal use. However, if you're a dedicated filmmaker, the FX3 is a really great option! Thanks for tuning in! Amy
Glad you enjoyed it! In terms of choosing between the two R5's, I think the main things to think about are do you need the upgrades the Mark II offers, and could that saving be used on something that might move the needle further for you, like a new lens or filter kit. Thanks for watching! Amy
For a lot of photographers the R5 / R5 II is a really great choice. It has so much going for it - speed, quality, resolution! However, the R6 II is definitely no slouch, such a great camera, we love it! Thanks for tuning in - Amy

Fun video, guys. Great job!
Wow - just thought to comment that you are hitting the great tone on your commentary - informative without being pedantic or annoying. Awesome.
Very envious of both the camera and the trip to the Highlands - autumn in Scotland is something else.

That choice from Canon definitely made it easier to differentiate between the two! Glad you're loving it and thanks for tuning in - Amy
Great review Amy :)
Looking canon colours are just wowww
Very informative. Thank you. Do you have a video on back button focus setup on this camera for bird and wild life photography?

Very nice review, also i have an R5 II and it's absolutely stunning
Do you enjoy the Canon R52 over the Fx3 for personal use?

Can i use r5ii for solo travel vlog style documentary?.
Excellent review 👍
Now the dilemma ... Whether to go for R5 which is now $1000 cheaper than R5 Mkii, or go with the Mkii🤷🏾♂️

If I could afford to replace my R6 ii, I'd go for a R5 ii and not the R1.
