Notice you had 38 front, and recommended is 36, so you are running slightly harsher up front. Also, what difference does two clicks softer on front make to match rear?
I like the tyre pressure to be firmer than recommended as I find it gives a better ride. My dad had a tyre business and he drummed it into me. Personal choice. I found changing the damping down suited me and gave a more comfortable ride. I suggest you play with it till you find what suits you. Happy and safe riding.
I did the same thing. Returns bike geometry to engineering assumptions and correct SAG for more weight. "FACTORY" specs a 176lb/80k assumed rider weight (with gear) as baseline (as do most manufacturers). In my world, that's a VERY small adult. So assume "luggage" = 25lbs per side (50lb + tailbag = 60-70lb total) to compensate = Rider+Luggage. Rider+Pillion add 125lbs etc. Rider+Pillion+luggage EX. A 230lb rider would need minimum Rider+ Luggage as a baseline...and step to next levels depending on cargo/feel. Its not an exact science - EVERY rider is different. FRONT baseline settings (GT PRO) are C8, R10 for pavement, OFF PAVEMENT -C8, R10 for smooth gravel etc. GT PRO is designed as ROAD 80/20....so OFFROAD (gnarly) is much more open up to 15/15.

What preload setting are you using? Im about 100kg and set it to rider and luggage and it gave quite a sporty ride. Made the turn in a bit quicker
I change as required, depends if I have my wife as a pillion and if I have luggage.

I agree. I discovered the best (most comfortable) setting for me when riding without pillion is Rider + Luggage
What damper did you buy?
None. Comes with the bike.
But you have only rebound at the back
Rear compression damping is electronic on the GT PRO models.
Whem you have roads like in th UK, any bike will be awesome. Try in Brazil... kkkkkk
I'm in Australia not the UK
@@villaincatcher kkkkk. Ok. It is the same.
