You literally can’t drive any vehicle without rego or roadworthy. You have 28 days to do it to just get the renewed rego price instead a new registration fees

You can also ring Fines Victoria when you get the fines in the mail and make a payment plan to pay it off so you don't have to pay it in one lump sum.

Unfortunate things happens to all of us at one point or another, and the way you handle it is the key to making your experience a lesson. You are an inspiration and thank you for posting not only the good but the harsh parts of reality!

Are you saying that in the USA, a motor scooter with a 50cc engine is classed as a bicycle and can drive on public roads ? No registration, insurance or road worthy ticket ? Who pays when you hit some pedestrian and break his pelvis ? Please explain.

There is a thing called Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) - so you'd get things sorted out... easy.

Welcome to the Australian labour force, had you kept your job you would have still been doing the advanced stuff just paid as beginner. Sounds like they were just talking shit to you to justify them paying you the least amount possible. Melbourne workers highly paid, undervalued.

If you'd looked a little deeper - You need qualifications, certifications and government registrations.

Australia is a bit strict on certifications, most (not all) certifications are not recognised and you will have to go through a bit of rigmarole to do your job. Sports is different as it's regional, so Europe, Asia etc will have things they recognise and others that they don't. When it comes to something like trades you will need to know the standards, so a carpenter will have different standards, an electrician has to work with different voltages and wattage. Usually you can fast track it, but it can be a hassle.

Do you have any formal coaching qualifications, like a certificate, diploma or something formal from the US? If you don't and you didn't have your blue card (work with children) then although you may be competent in doing what you did, it's against the law to employ somebody in those positions so the gym is in the wrong as well.

You can drive a scooter in WA on a car licence... Sounds like you need to move to Perth. Only go south of the river where it's cheaper to live. I am in Port Kennedy and love it here.

Can ride a 50cc scooter in SA on a car licence.. Shouldve come to Adelaide 🤣 Im sure the cheerleading squads would love your gymnastic experience. Plenty of bars etc here too. And NO WHERE in Australia can you pass on the left, bike lane or not.

An honest video - awesome! While you're in this part of the world, you won't regret adding NZ to your travel plans. All the best.
