I haven't been to disney world since high school but yall made me realize how cool it would be to go to Disney and listen to all the music. I would have never noticed much of the music if yall didn't mention it! So cool!
How fun is this?! I watch all of your videos, but have never commented before. At least I don't think. I'm obsessed with Disney so I *had* to share my answers. It was so much fun hearing you and your husband's. Please, do more videos about WDW! 1- First time you went to Disney World? Actually not until I was 27 which was only 4 years ago. I fell head over heals in LOVE! We went again 6 months later then moved down to Orlando from Michigan the following year because I loved it so much. 2- Favorite park? This is very hard because I love all the parks for different reasons. I can say though that my least favorite park is DHS. It's just not great for small children and not enough to do. 3- Favorite land in Magic Kingdom? My family always seems to gravitate toward Future World the most, but I absolutely love the theming of New Fantasyland and the classics in Fantasyland. 4- Favorite Disney resort hotel? While I've never stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, it's my favorite. I could hang out there all day. 5- Favorite snack? Churros 6- Favorite souvenir? My pick-a-pearl and I have the same necklace setting as you do. I also really love a scarf I got in MK. It has a Mickey head pattern on it and it's really colorful. I love it because it can go with nearly any outfit and the pattern is subtle enough that it doesn't scream Disney. 7- Favorite table service and counter service? Table Service is 'Ohana for dinner and Counter Service is Tangierine Cafe in Morocco 8- Favorite ride? Either People Mover or Spaceship Earth, very hard to choose. 9- Favorite show? Wishes is a show, right? LOVE Wishes! 10- Favorite parade or fireworks? Wishes, hands down. I have been to WDW many many times and I still get tears in my eyes every time. 11- Favorite pavilion in Epcot? Canada is the most beautiful, but I like the feeling I get most in Morocco 12- What color is your magic band? Pink 13- Favorite character to meet? Mickey! 14- A character you haven't met but really want to? Merida? I'm not really sure. 15- Your best Disney memory? My very first trip on our very first day we checked into our hotel as quickly as possible then headed to Magic Kingdom. We got there at the perfect time to walk into the park just as the 3:00 parade was starting. We got THE best spot right in front of the train station in the shade. With it being my first time at Disney World and getting to see the castle down Main Street as the parade is coming and having my two little boys being so over the moon at their first experience... it was almost too much to handle. I was a blubbering mess. I will never forget the feeling.
Really enjoyed this! My family went to Disney World last year and my daughter and granddaughter and I did the pearls and loved the ceremony! Going next year for our 40th wedding anniversary!
My daughter has a lot of allergies and her first time eating a donut was at Baby Cakes which sadly we couldn't find last time we were there in Jan. So glad to hear it's still there. Thanks for sharing! What a fun tag!
Annie's Simple Life Oh thanks that's so nice of you! We only just realised this past year you can bring food in with you (no idea how we missed that!) I think if we go again in future we will bring food/snacks in with us! xx
You guys are so cute together! But I have to say that my 15 year old was listening as I was watching this and when you said you did not like parades and you did not meet characters he referred to you two as "Debbie Downers!" I laughed so hard! Children change you. Ray and I would be lost at Disneyworld if we were able to do it our way! Maybe one day! I can tell by listening to the two of you that you tour the parks in a very laid back way. It must be heavenly. Thanks for sharing this with us all!
Also, the character meet and greets seemed SO CREEPY to me, so I never went until they became filler at EPCOT's Fastpass+. I realized I loved having the photos. But I WOULD NOT line up.
#Epcot4life Illuminations and Spaceship Earth! My wife did the Pick a Pearl too! I got her the same setting as well. Have you checked out the Disneyland Pirates? It's much better. I also enjoy the Soarin' queue music. I have a Soarin' queue playlist on my phone. I have a big collection of music loops from around the parks (mostly Epcot). It seems I share the same obsession of area and queue music. Thanks for letting me be involved with this collaboration :)
We haven't been to Disneyland before-- maybe one day!! Yes, I know- TOTALLY OBSESSED with EPCOT area music. D-cot is the best website ever invented LOL!
This was fun. It was interesting to hear that you do not like or do parades and Characters. We do them ALL the time, then again I have a 7 yr old daughter. But I think I still would...I'm kind of a kid inside.....and its Disney :) I'm wondering if I can use that music info you shared here in Canada, I will give it a try and let you know. Ok now for my answers, as I do not vlog :( 1. I was 27, my husband and I went on the Disney cruise and 4 day on land for our Honeymoon 15 yrs ago (sadly it is not available any more) 2. MK 3. I LOVE Main Street, But an actual land is...hmm so hard to choose..the new Fantasyland 4. Port Orleans Riverside. We have not tried any others, I am SAD on change, and we always stay there :) we love it! 5. There's this brownie thing I get at our resort filled with, coconut, chocolate chips, nuts..etc I get 1 every trip and of course the Mickey bar. 6. On every try I pick up a Mickey with the yr figure. And of course our photo's I make an album every yr. 7. Fav CS- is in the Land pavilion, Fav TC- Ohana-Dinner, or Portobello in DD 8. Ohhh This is hard... I have 4..Peter Pan, Big Thunder Haunted Mansion and Spaceship Earth 9. Fav show... would have to be...Arial in HS 10. Fav Parade is the new in MK..Fireworks is MK 11. Was Norway until Frozen was put in...Mexico 12. Red- Mickey & Minnie :) 13. Mickey & Minnie 14. Baymax, Snow white witch, Seven Drawfs 15. My daughters face when she saw the castle for the 1st time, she was 2 and when Tinkerbell took the time to show her how to hold up 2 fingers to say "2 yrs old" My daughter held up 5 fingers and Tink showed her how to do it, she did it the whole trip and when we came home too. It was priceless. Thanx for a fun tag...we LOVE Disney. Our next trip is in Sept and we will be doing the MNSSHP for the 1st time....Any tips?

I was 15 years old my brother which has since passed was 19. That was truly a grand plan they had back then. 7 nts Grand Floridan 7 days park and water park. 1 breakfast 1 lunch 1 dinner anywhere!!! plus one snack. We ate everywhere and had tons of food. There was no double ponts taken away for any meal. not even Show meals like hoop de doo. You also got a coupon for golf or other things but my brother and I choose the water sprites. I think my father said it cost $2000 for a family of 4. It was also the premiere of Dick Tracy that we went to. The ticket was a black Dick Tracy tee shirt that looked like a ticket on the front. Warren Beatty and Madonna was there. It was special because at that time my brother and I really didn't get along. but on this trip we did. We played video games together. We rode the little boats on bay lake. We went to the parks together without our parents and just had a good time. I'm rambling but he went to work at Disney a few years later and would get me and my now wife in for free. anyway Thanks I hope to see some great vids of Disney here.
