Very awesome study and I'm also encouraged by the subtext of it all - that Jerusalem will never be destroyed like this again(?) -as God smelled the savor of Yeshua's sacrifice like He swore after Noah's sacrifice - and it brings to mind the New Jerusalem that abides forever in Revelation. Matthew 24:30 says "Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" which obviously is alluding to Zechariah where those in Jerusalem will look on Him whom they've pierced and then grace will be poured out "On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness" and it reminds me also of Isaiah 54 "For to Me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So I have sworn that I will not be angry with you or rebuke you. For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you". The rainbow - the assurance of forbearance on God's part and the sign of the covenent - is paralleled I think with the coming of the son of Man ("I will give you as a covenant for the people") on the clouds or the sign of the son of man, as they look on Him and entreat for mercy. Another interesting possible obscure remez comes to mind because I recently took in some of David C. Mitchell's work where he highlighted the Samaritan messiah who is called Taheb תהב which are the same letters that spell Tebah - Ark. And this last thing is unrelated to everything before but I always found it interesting the spelling of the word "child" in the Hebrew of Gen 11:30 its spelled the way child is spelled in Arabic: It says "ein lahh walad" instead of "ein lahh yeled".
Noah was a just man, being "perfect in his generations". Noah walked with God. I believe this to mean that he was genetically pure. None of the genetic alterations the fallen angels were doing to man and animals had touched his family.
