    A woman who is compassionate and also honest is not JEALOUS. Get with it people! Watch both interviews. Give credit where credit is due for a change.This woman is admiring Lupita as much as we adore her. She gives her compliment after compliment. EXCELLENT interview! BTW I believe the "bald" comment was a quote from someone else, not from the interviewer.

    That is the one of the most amazing interview that I'd seen. I mean, finally someone asking about the charecter, not only about clothes and how was working with Brad Pitt. She got so emotional..I cried too !!!

    Waw! What an amazing African girl! You are very beautiful, oozing with confidence, inspiring, talented, refreshing and very intellectual. Holding your own in the cut throat competition of Hollywood. Go girl, assert yourself with your amazing natural beauty. You have proved to the world that natural beauty in simplicity, contrary to what the 'gate keepers of beauty' say, is the most powerful positive influence on earth. Millions of women of all races are so cosmetic they rarely step out of their doors dressed in their natural hair, an affront to natural beauty and a lack of confidence in their natural beauty. Indeed 'a thing of beauty is a joy forever!'. As an African myself, I am very, very proud of you!

    Americans have a hard time with the fact that Lupita is Mexican(born in mexico city). She's basically MexiKenyan. If I was born in France I would be a French of Mexican parents.

    Lupita is not Mexican guys, she is Kenyan. Why is it when a black person is successful people always try and make them less black?

      I think everybody wants a piece of something that's big. It's like when Obama won the election in 2008, white folks were quick to say, "But he's half white." Fast forward 5 years, not only isn't he half white anymore, he's not even an American. But for real, it's silly to talk about this girl being Mexican.

    • @leeantony
      @leeantony 11 років тому +4

      Being Mexican would not make her any less Black since one is a nationality and one is a race. By the way, Mexico's first president, Vicente Guerrero was a Black man and there are plenty of Black folks who are Mexican along the Caribbean coast.

    • @hayaglamazonluxe
      @hayaglamazonluxe 11 років тому

      CHEETAH69 Exactly couldn't agree more. I remember as soon as 'Bama won, you are so right, everyone was claiming he was no longer black all of a sudden.

    • @hayaglamazonluxe

      Oremi Bwire My original point still stands, anytime a successful African or black person of African origin is doing well, they are all of a sudden not black. I remember hearing people saying how Rihanna was multiracial and she has stated many times she is a black woman and proud.

    • @leeantony
      @leeantony 11 років тому +1

      K Tibaijuka I understand your point. My point was that nobody ever said she was not Black. Anyone who referred to her as Mexican did so because that is where she was born. For example, if she had been born in Kansas, we would call her American and that would have nothing to do with her race, it would simply be her nationality. By the way, she refers to herself as Mexican in this interview as she responds to a question in Spanish. watch?v=hOqtqasPqJY

      Her parents are both Kenyan she was only born in Mexico and she soon came back to Kenya. I think that it makes her Kenyan not Mexican

    • @sakamuk
      @sakamuk 11 років тому

      Of course she is Kenyan. She has said so herself in many interviews and any Kenyan (like myself) will tell you she is the daughter of a prominent politician. She grew up there and was even cast in the Kenyan MTV Shuga series sometime back. The Mexico thing is just a fact she mentions but she even has a Kenyan accent.... :)
