if you put the cover back on between each turn , it will maintain heat pressure around the pizza and you wont have to turn it as much + the center will cook faster
I normally do that in-between the pizzas but I'm usually back down in 5-10 minutes and that doesn't really heat it up much but it does help. The firewood I was using this round just wasn't burning good
