Italians and Spanish understand each other. I was in a guided tour around the parc natural de l'Albufera in Valencia and I understood about 80% of what the Spanish guide was saying
For all those who do not know Italian and would like to understand it (and I read many comments on this), just activate the subtitles and then the automatic translation (it is not very precise, but it is better than nothing)

Ils parlent de la votation et de leur perfomance. Ils espèrent de vaincre...ils disent que ça a été une experience fantastique et qu’ils ont connu des gens vraiment intéressants, une experience unique. Ça été aprés leur perfomance.
