Is just unbeliably beautiful! this instrumental version of the song makes it even more heartbreaking, loved so much at 0:40 the "i saw everything" in place where the lyics say "we had everythign" genious! it just fits right in. 1:04-1:19 I love so much how you edited this part, is more calm and quiet and i just love it. 2:18- forward was just heartbreaking. amazing tribute!

I couldn't agree more. I think that the show was just so good and you can't blame anybody (Not even Silco in my opinion) for whats happened. I feel equally bad for Powder, Jinx and Vi. Even though the story may be fiction, the show depicted the pain a single human could go through so real and we feel so much of it that perhaps its our nature to just get the need to blame someone, even if it is completely unnecessary.

This. People treat Vi like most of society treats men. They be like, Vi is strong, so she will be okay. Not even trying to understand what she has been through. She saw her dead parents and had to take in their role for powder when she was just a kid. Never being allowed to show weakness cause she always has to be strong for her little sister. There is no one there for her except for Vander. When Powder jinxes a Job Vi takes responsibility for her, but when Vis heist failed she knew that she is the one to blame and has to face the consequences for her actions. People blaming Vi for hitting Powder and telling her that she is a jinx is ridiculous. Its the only scene where Vi shows real emotion and cant maintain her facade of the tough older sister and even though she shouldnt have used violence, she is totally right that Powder jinxed yet another job. She literally killed 75% of the crew, but people forgive her so easiely like its nothing. But not even in that situation Vi is abandoning her sister. She is just hiding around the corner because she doesnt want Powder to see her being vulnerable and crying. She just needs one short moment for herself, so she can deal with her loss and her emotions. What can you blame her for? - Being human? Same goes for post timeskip. She was in prison for i think 7 years where she was beaten, molested and even more, but when she is freed she still only thinks about her sister and even blames herself for Marcus kidnapping her. Even tho she continues to act all tough, nobody can tell me she doesnt suffer from heavy trauma. I am not a psychologist but I wonder how much this plays a role in her relationship with Cait. Just to make it clear, I have nothing against their relationship and I wouldnt mind if they become a couple in Season 2. Its just that getting attracted to the first person you can trust and that doesnt treat you like shit in the past 7 years seems pretty logical.
Not gonna lie, if I told my little sister to stay in her room and she ended up exploding my whole goddamn family, I don’t think I would have the self restraint to walk away from that situation. The fact that Vi immediately recognized when she went too far and left to go cool down shows a lot of emotional maturity on her part. It’s even more impressive when you consider that Vi is an extremely emotional and impulsive person.
What hurts me the most is that Vander puts so much pressure on Vi, intentionally or unintentionally, he tells he that she needs to be the bigger person and also that EVERYONE overlooks her pain. It hurts me for HER as a character😭Amazing job!!!!

Ikr, I always felt that she didn't really want to leave powder, just needed some time alone. Something so big happened and she lost so many in one sitting. And to think it was her sis that accidentally killed them too, definitely need some time alone to cool down

Granted this is all in hypothetic, but Powder had a habit of trying too hard to prove herself and doesn't think of her actions. She's impulsive to a fault, something that Vi should have talked to her sister about at least. I don't blame both sides for how they see Vi and Powder. It was a series of unfortunately events caused by Powder's excessive need to prove herself and the insecurities she may have had when she and Vi were orphaned. Walking away from someone after they did something major is understandable, but the timing was too terrible, one that got Vi arrested and got her sister crying and hugging her arms into a man who would raise her with no sense of empathy or responsibility, concerned about his own plans for revenge, even though he took up the role as a father.

Too many people who disregarded her trauma because it's not as upfront as Jinx' even though what kept Vi going was the focus on getting Powder back. But when it all seemed to be failing? She shut those doors. Vi's trauma is obvious in the way that she can't form attachments without pushing away. It's a direct result of losing so many loved ones and being told that she's responsible for what happens. Telling a 15 years old that whatever happens to her friends would be on her only for her to see them and her adoptive father die is..pretty psyche damaging stuff.
People under look the situation when Vi called powder a jinx, Vi just watched her father figure and friends die only to find out that powder let of the bomb that killed them when she told her not to, ofc she’s going to let that rage out and I’m sure she never met to hurt powder.

The reason why I love VI is because she was able to pull through even when times got tough. Whats amazing about Vi is after the timeskip. Vi never stops using her Heart. I remember a breakdown video on VI and they said: Vi is trying to be the perfect sister whilst the world is trying to frame her as the worst sister. She is always there for Powder after the timeskip and never once puts her down and always tells people that shes not bad.

One of the big dichotomies I love about Vi and Jinx is that while Jinx is terrified of accountability ("killing" Powder, acting like she dosnt care, running from her past and hallucinations, not letting things die) Vi takes accountability for EVERYTHING. Even things that aren't really her fault. When Vander said it's all "on you" she took it, and believed it with all her heart and always will, no matter how much it hurts. Best big sister representation out there.

She is definitely one of my favourite characters in the intire show. She has so much pressure on her shoulders and so much trauma as well. I feel like people often forget about her past and are quick to judge her. She has gone through so much but people don’t realise it.
VI is my favorite character because after losing her parents, she did her best to take care of her sister and developed herself under the circumstances and became a big sister to her. She tried to stay strong even though she was under the weight of everything. She lost her friends right in front of her eyes, Vander died in front of her, and when her sister did that, she was instantly pissed off. She was jailed when she released Powder, but she didn't release her, she was freed thanks to Caitln and found both her sister and the hextech core with her[although she didn't know]. She stood strong and headstrong, found her sister, but she had changed a lot. These are very heavy things, but she was still alive and always ready to fight, and she was fighting. A true warrior and a good woman lying with a broken heart inside. She deserves to be loved so much. Even if it was animation, it impressed me a lot and I will always remember it. I hope season 2 comes out. She will remain my favorite character.
what's heartbreaking about Vi is that she has always had too much on her shoulders. Whatever happens, it's on her, Powder is her responsibility, keeping her sanity is just something she has to do so she can be there for others. Being able to carry a lot shows immense strength, but to have to ALWAYS be strong can put disregard to the person and their feelings. She felt like everything was her responsibility, and when things irrevocably happened, she had to blame herself because of course, who else was she supposed to blame when it was her "job" to keep it together?
Powder/Jinx has gone through a lot of pain but it’s important not to forget that Vi has gone through more. She has lost her biological parents, her adoptive father, her stepbrothers, and her little sister is now a completely different person. This is the first Vi tribute I have seen in a while. Good job 👏
I don’t even understand how people look up to Jinx or even like her. Her friends and uncle died because of her and she’s always fucking things up. Vi has been through more than Jinx has and yet she’s so much more smarter, powerful, better and always kept a good heart. Even from inside a jail cell.
A sympathetic villain has been an interesting thing to see. And they know if what Powder did, yet still feel sympathy or empathy for her for their own reasons. Same reasons as people have theirs with Vi.
@@leon4000 Tragic (& somewhat pitiful) villain, yes. Sympathetic villain, no. She's now an utterly remorseless killer that sows death & destruction wherever she goes, just for shits & giggles. Going into detail, Powder suffers from severe schizophrenia, with Jinx being the usually dominant split personality. When compared to a certain other famous villain with similar mental issues: You CAN feel some sympathy for Powder & Smeagol. But Jinx & Gollum are pure evil.
this is amazing. this really shows how much vi wne through in her life. everyone looked up to her so she had to stand tall and not fail. she fought for her sister, vander, and the others. she lost alot when that monkey bomb started working. she loved powder, but she was enraged about what she accidently did to vander. then she realized what was wrong and left. her search to find her sister has been going on for over 10-8 years and shes fighting still. she really does have a good heart.
I love Vi! She’s so selfless, but people hate on her because she made ONE mistake when she was angry and grieving. It’s not her fault she was kidnapped and arrested, leave the poor, amazing girl alone!!!

I can never be thankful enough to Fortnite for bringing the "Arcane Vi" skin to the game. That's literally what made me watch Arcane. I was so impressed by her badass design, the way she stood, and her emote, I bought the skin instantly. Then after watching her in Arcane, her incredible backstory, I fell in love with her and Caitlyn even more. It's a whole different feeling now when I play with her skin. Never been so obsessed with an animated character before. Vi is the best!

I think out of Vi and Powder, Vi suffered just as much or even more than Powder did. Not only was she stuck in a prison for years and was beaten for no reason she was still thinking about her sister all while having the memory of abandoning her when silco was approaching powder. She watched everyone close to her die and one of the people left (powder) isn’t even her sister anymore, she’s a totally different person. “I can’t lose you”, “I just ran” or “I should’ve been there” goes to show how much she blames herself for not being there.
Most emotional Arcane edit I've seen, honestly had me feeling shit at 1:56-2:11, really well done job of capturing Vi's trauma and inner conflict. Great job, Bianca! : )

I get why people hate Vi. What she did to Powder is horrible. It's the worst thing she's ever done and something she's always regretted. It's unfortunate circumstances that let that moment damage Powder so much and push her over the edge of sanity. But Vi tries constantly to make up for that. To reach Powder that's buried beneath Jinx. Maybe she can, maybe she can't. But she hopes she can save her sister and tries anyway. She's a good person who made a mistake. The proof is that even after everyone else has given up on Jinx, Violet hasn't. Jinx isn't evil, just damaged. Violet recognizes that.

Vi is really my idol. she is so strong and brave, and I could absolutely understand her.
She is definitely one of my favourite characters in the intire show. She has so much pressure on her shoulders and so much trauma as well. I feel like people often forget about her past and are quick to judge her. She has gone through so much but people don’t realise it.

VI is my favorite character because after losing her parents, she did her best to take care of her sister and developed herself under the circumstances and became a big sister to her. She tried to stay strong even though she was under the weight of everything. She lost her friends right in front of her eyes, Vander died in front of her, and when her sister did that, she was instantly pissed off. She was jailed when she released Powder, but she didn't release her, she was freed thanks to Caitln and found both her sister and the hextech core with her[although she didn't know]. She stood strong and headstrong, found her sister, but she had changed a lot. These are very heavy things, but she was still alive and always ready to fight, and she was fighting. A true warrior and a good woman lying with a broken heart inside. She deserves to be loved so much. Even if it was animation, it impressed me a lot and I will always remember it. I hope season 2 comes out. She will remain my favorite character.

what's heartbreaking about Vi is that she has always had too much on her shoulders. Whatever happens, it's on her, Powder is her responsibility, keeping her sanity is just something she has to do so she can be there for others.
Being able to carry a lot shows immense strength, but to have to ALWAYS be strong can put disregard to the person and their feelings. She felt like everything was her responsibility, and when things irrevocably happened, she had to blame herself because of course, who else was she supposed to blame when it was her "job" to keep it together?
Loved this Bianca, you took a completely different route with Vi’s character than most! This stood out to me, loved the music choice!

Powder/Jinx has gone through a lot of pain but it’s important not to forget that Vi has gone through more. She has lost her biological parents, her adoptive father, her stepbrothers, and her little sister is now a completely different person. This is the first Vi tribute I have seen in a while. Good job 👏
i wish season two shows like vi’s pain more.. maybe the time in jail, how she still stands up after all those..
To be fair Vi is the real one who needs help cuz she hides it so good cuz she always has to be brave and act tough but all she want is her loved ones

I don’t even understand how people look up to Jinx or even like her. Her friends and uncle died because of her and she’s always fucking things up. Vi has been through more than Jinx has and yet she’s so much more smarter, powerful, better and always kept a good heart. Even from inside a jail cell.
A sympathetic villain has been an interesting thing to see. And they know if what Powder did, yet still feel sympathy or empathy for her for their own reasons. Same reasons as people have theirs with Vi.
@@leon4000 Tragic (& somewhat pitiful) villain, yes. Sympathetic villain, no. She's now an utterly remorseless killer that sows death & destruction wherever she goes, just for shits & giggles.
Going into detail, Powder suffers from severe schizophrenia, with Jinx being the usually dominant split personality. When compared to a certain other famous villain with similar mental issues: You CAN feel some sympathy for Powder & Smeagol. But Jinx & Gollum are pure evil.

this is amazing. this really shows how much vi wne through in her life. everyone looked up to her so she had to stand tall and not fail. she fought for her sister, vander, and the others. she lost alot when that monkey bomb started working. she loved powder, but she was enraged about what she accidently did to vander. then she realized what was wrong and left. her search to find her sister has been going on for over 10-8 years and shes fighting still. she really does have a good heart.

I love Vi! She’s so selfless, but people hate on her because she made ONE mistake when she was angry and grieving. It’s not her fault she was kidnapped and arrested, leave the poor, amazing girl alone!!!
Only those who made the choices can change, you can influence their decisions, but you can't force them. Give them time.
Love the VIdeo. as a league of legends player Arcane is everything i hoped for and more. but it´s a good tv show even if you dont play the game. you should do one on Ekko next if you can. I don´t know if he has enough screentime for that. But he was my favourite character in Arcane so i can atleast make a Wish. but again. amazing work. keep it up

I can never be thankful enough to Fortnite for bringing the "Arcane Vi" skin to the game. That's literally what made me watch Arcane. I was so impressed by her badass design, the way she stood, and her emote, I bought the skin instantly. Then after watching her in Arcane, her incredible backstory, I fell in love with her and Caitlyn even more. It's a whole different feeling now when I play with her skin. Never been so obsessed with an animated character before. Vi is the best!

Thought I was emotionally ready 2 months after watching for a video like this without tearing up... I was not 😥🤗
I think out of Vi and Powder, Vi suffered just as much or even more than Powder did. Not only was she stuck in a prison for years and was beaten for no reason she was still thinking about her sister all while having the memory of abandoning her when silco was approaching powder. She watched everyone close to her die and one of the people left (powder) isn’t even her sister anymore, she’s a totally different person. “I can’t lose you”, “I just ran” or “I should’ve been there” goes to show how much she blames herself for not being there.

Just something cool I noticed is the Roman numeral tattoo on her cheek -VI- not only spells her name, or the short version at least, but it's the Roman numeral for six. Odvious I know, but when Caitlyn goes to get her out of jail her inmate number is 516.

I get why people hate Vi. What she did to Powder is horrible. It's the worst thing she's ever done and something she's always regretted. It's unfortunate circumstances that let that moment damage Powder so much and push her over the edge of sanity.
But Vi tries constantly to make up for that. To reach Powder that's buried beneath Jinx. Maybe she can, maybe she can't. But she hopes she can save her sister and tries anyway.
She's a good person who made a mistake. The proof is that even after everyone else has given up on Jinx, Violet hasn't. Jinx isn't evil, just damaged. Violet recognizes that.
