Before you ask, TAS stands for tool-assisted speedrun or superplay, so no none of these shots count. I got them all playing the game on PCSX2, an emulator that allows me to use save states to adjust my shot over and over until it goes in. There was more where that came from, but these replays are being played back on real hardware, and due to VERY slight behavioral changes possibly caused by emulation, the others not included in this montage would freeze the game because the ball simply didn't go in the hole in those replays.

For those wondering why a score of three strokes under par is called a Double Eagle rather than an Albatross, it is because the game was released in both Japan and North America. If this game were released in Europe, a Double Eagle would be called an Albatross on those versions. On a side note, Real-life golf tournaments held in America use Double Eagle, while those held in European soil use Albatross instead.
Me: *plays Hot Shots Golf for 13 years and gets an average Par score*
TAS: *literally plays for less than 10 minutes and gets all Albatross scores*

Incredible! I just did all that on the PS2 emulator! I wonder why on my PS2 console didn’t match lots of my shots from my the PCSX2 emulator! Maybe there’s nothing you can do to fix that. Which actual hardware did you use? ‘Cause I have the pnach on there, and the game still slows down.
Very slight discrepancies between how an emulator runs the game vs. how it normally runs on console. Leads to a few rounding errors here and there, more than likely. Not quite sure what settings to change to fix that sadly
I totally understand, and I thought so too. Well never mind that, ‘cause I give up now and can’t really do anything about the hardware thingy, tried almost everything. Anyway, if you don’t mind at all, I would like to ask you for a huge favor, just one if I may, please.
Listen, which NVIDIA do you use for PCSX2? I notice that NVIDIA would be the answer to have all games run 60fps, no problems, including this game and Hot Shots Golf Fore!

Yep, I patched the .iso with the code from a .pnach file
