Nick, I just want to let you know… About three years ago at age 20 I went through a tragic accident that took my life multiple times, caused permanent vision, loss, and other things. I can’t see your videos like I used to anymore and can only use my phone through “voiceover“. But let me just say , you are one of the UA-camrs who helped me get through such a hard time in my life. It was so heartbreaking going through so many medical appointments, so many surgeries, and being forced into a disability not by my choice. It gets hard, feeling lost, empty, and meaningless, not being able to see the faces of my loved ones and such. But videos like yours helped me get through such hard times. Content like yours has made me smile so many times no matter what I’m going through. I wish you amazing growth in your life, and hope that if things can’t be perfect, they can at least be pretty damn OK. I don’t know you never will, but everybody deserves that. I’ve never seen you as a negative person, and this video only cements that to me. I needed to do the same last year and I found myself realizing that self love and being at peace with yourself isn’t a luxury; it is a necessity that we all need to get by day to day. It’s also something fluid and constant that will always need your attention. I think it’s the hardest thing we all have to do because we’re so used to finding joy from sources that aren’t ourselves. Take all the time you need because you so deserve that joy that comes from within you.

Hate when people take situations like this and make it seem like a youtuber is quitting forever, or we’ll never hear or see from them again. I get why that sentiment spreads, but its really just life. Everyone, including youtubers has a life outside of their hobby or job. Life can get in the way sometimes, and refocusing your efforts is always the best option. Of course they wont forget or leave us in the dark forever, its just shifting of priorities. Yet some people make it out to be way worse and way more of a tragedy than it is. Regardless, i really feel for Nick, and i hope he can get his life in order and get to a better place than he is currently! Thats what matters most.

Listening through this made me feeling so bad for you. hearing that you went doing into a path of gambling and getting yourself in debt, not to forget your mom's cancer last year. Finding out that you couldn't help your mom out at all was just truely heartbreaking because of the bad decisions that you've went through. Right now there are so many kids looking at your path, not really thinking that their struggles are like anyone else’s but you making better choices for yourself and starting now will help them see a better path for themselves too. Your an inspiration and made me want to continue my film degree when I was at my lowest. Thank you for real. Just remember to always ask for help when you need it and that progress isn’t linear. If you get off track again, you can ALWAYS get back on again and again. The fact that you feel that away about your choices shows you’ve already grown. If it weren't for your videos and yourself, your creativity and humor, the GoFundMe wouldn't have been able to reach the people that monetarily helped you and your mom in such a difficult time. I understand what you're saying, it wasn't money from your pocket. But it was you, and you were there, and you did what you could and you're still doing it, so do it. I know many of us will be waiting for when you have something to say about a movie.

I’ve never seen you as a negative person, and this video only cements that to me. I needed to do the same last year and I found myself realizing that self love and being at peace with yourself isn’t a luxury; it is a necessity that we all need to get by day to day. It’s also something fluid and constant that will always need your attention. I think it’s the hardest thing we all have to do because we’re so used to finding joy from sources that aren’t ourselves. Take all the time you need because you so deserve that joy that comes from within you.

I'm sorry for what your dealing Nick, I understand what you are going through with your mom. My mom had breast cancer with bone metastases and sadly left me last year even though I was only 18 years old. I miss her a lot and I'm trying to make her proud every day since trying as hard as I can.
Your videos helped me a lot, you seem like the type of guy you would always have a great time with.

I'm dealing with my own and while it's not nearly as bad as what you may have gone through talking openly about it has personally helped me so I hope this video gives you comfort about your choice after doing the same. Hate when people take situations like this and make it seem like a youtuber is quitting forever, or we’ll never hear or see from them again. I get why that sentiment spreads, but its really just life. Everyone, including youtubers has a life outside of their hobby or job. Life can get in the way sometimes, and refocusing your efforts is always the best option. Of course they wont forget or leave us in the dark forever, its just shifting of priorities. Yet some people make it out to be way worse and way more of a tragedy than it is. Regardless, i really feel for Nick, and i hope he can get his life in order and get to a better place than he is currently! Thats what matters most.

Listening through this made me feeling so bad for you. hearing that you went doing into a path of gambling and getting yourself in debt, not to forget your mom's cancer last year. Finding out that you couldn't help your mom out at all was just truely heartbreaking because of the bad decisions that you've went through. I am really happy to hear that you're currently going through a stage of recovery and you got a job that will help you keep a roof under your head, which is great. I'm glad you're also enjoying that new job of yours too. Keep focusing on that and keep on looking after yourself and being strong throughout the rest of the year. Life and keeping a roof over your head is more important, along with your mental recovery.

Right now there are so many kids looking at your path, not really thinking that their struggles are like anyone else’s but you making better choices for yourself and starting now will help them see a better path for themselves too. Your an inspiration and made me want to continue my film degree when I was at my lowest. Thank you for real. Just remember to always ask for help when you need it and that progress isn’t linear. If you get off track again, you can ALWAYS get back on again and again. The fact that you feel that away about your choices shows you’ve already grown. When there are embarrassment, guilt, shame, anguish etc feelings, that means you are growing and healing already. The only person who needs to forgive you is you. We are all rooting for you.
