For people wondering about assassin class. I can't stress enough how much Deathblade is more rewarding with less budget compared to Reaper for example. And both engravings are meta and viable, so you can choose based on your playstyle preference.
On a side note, I found reaper more fun, but it's definitely a more expensive alt to have. But once you get a hang of it, it feels amazing
I think what makes an alt good, are:
- relatively cheap to build (4x3 is perfect)
- tanky so you don't need to spend that much on potions
- leveling up a few tripods are enough
- has a good chaos dungeon clear
Youre absolutely right! It's honestly crazy how insane a 4x3 surge build is and nowadays it's not even hard to get a 4x3!
I'm a reaper main and sometimes it does get a lil frustrating knowing that I have to invest so much more in my build compared to like a blade or scrapper BUT the fun I have with reaper exceeds anything else in the game for me :)
@@CrypticBoss especially running full swift Hunger and literally feeling like Naruto. Not as strong but god damn it brings the fun aspect out of it
@@CrypticBoss I have a hunger reaper too, but I choose the half-half route. I didn't buy any tripods because it's so expensive but managed to get all 4s and some 5s naturally. I'm working on lv7 gems right now. Her build is 4x3+1 on class, but I'm planning to max out hunger as it got buffed in KR. Anyways, great class love it so much!
I wanted to make a reaper alt with artist release because she looks fun but I heard she gets gatekept. Could you comment on difficulty of db vs reaper?
Bro just skipped over the best warrior alt in Destroyer. Rage Hammer books are under 10k right now, your primary stat is Crit, but you hit like a spec class, and the sound of landing that Perfect Swing is just euphoric. Plus he's tanky as all hell, has shields on shields, has a 12% defense reduction synergy with nearly 100% uptime, also has a taunt, and has so many different ways to ignore boss mechs between his Z, awakening, Endure Pain, and super armor on several skills, you just feel like a god while playing him. Oh, and he's so easy to play, which is great for an alt. Easily my favorite of my alts, and easily my strongest.

Summary:
Supports are good because they are wanted and cheap to build. Paladins are boring and Paladin players are toxic.
Scrapper is good because it's tanky and easy to play (spammy). Recommended above all other DPS.
Don't have a Reaper alt.
Deathblade is good, no complaints.
Shadowhunter is the easiest assassin class, transformation is good and its not dependant on back attacks. It's also very cheap to build except for the legendary engraving books.
Machinist is also a transformation class, very easy, cheap to build like Shadowhunter, lasers.
Warrior specs are ezpz and pretty tanky. Everybody likes having a Gunlancer around, but they're slow. Berserkers get meme'd on but they're good.
Sharpshooter is cheap to build and is ranged, otherwise its meh.
Specialization builds are slower and do big damage in bursts and are more expensive, Swiftness builds are faster and more spammy for less burst and more consistent damage and are cheaper.

I love my swiftness LC Sharpshooter. I find it easy to play and very fun. I also play swiftness classes so he was an option and I love how responsive he is. Archers can’t be slow so that’s why I love it.
This is the first lost ark video I ever seen where I agree with every take and everything you said. Good job on all the information. I have all these alts except for scrapper but you are right scrapper does so much damage. I have a friend who plays tai scrapper and he always mvp over me but I am higher ilvl wardancer hahahaha
I have a Bluelancer and a Paladin. Its true that they are kinda sleeper classes. Definitly classes bad Players can hide behind not pushing them selves too play optimally like you shoud. But seeing toxic Pala/Bluelancers infuriates me as well. 😅

Regarding your comment on bad experiences with paladins, the 'rage' tier list is actually as follows XD:
1 - BARD!
2 - pala
3 - gunlancer
You see, the support is the 'backbone' of the team, without them we would be turned to dust... They deserve to be treated like royalty, and have every right to hurl insults at the measly dps commoners!
(- Note, it's absolute BS, the number of supports that can't do mechs or dodge lethal attacks, is astounding. Very often your first member to die will be a support and you clear the fight anyway. full DPS parties aren't uncommon either.)
Rumor has it that Bard is the no.1 support, so as the bard who believes this to be true, they become the most entitled player in the game :)
Pala a very close second by a tiny, tiny margin.
Gunlancer is in 3rd place because they are 'mini supports', but they also know they won't get away with as much as a meta support :)
It's all psychology really...
(if you are a support reading this, stop being a douchebag... I play a support alt, I obviously support my team through abilities, I ALSO WATCH GUIDES, I offer feasts, I offer to do things like mario G3 instead of 1... I don't always join the highest ilvl group. and above all else I do not bring my teams mental down if there is a mistake :) my raids probably go alot smoother than yours, and people do notice my contributions and unusual positive mindset, instead of being the usual support that people desire but also low-key hate.)
You won't finish the raid without DPS, so have a little bit of respect for them, it's a team effort
Tbh, my problem isn’t a class but the actual in-game activities and that is overwhelming me. There are so many things to do I dunno what to focus on 😂 especially with limited time to play.
i mean no rush. you pick a quest and you follow durign the day. Dont overdo it. I did that 7 months ago and ended up leaving the game. Now im back but i dont overdo it. I dont try to do every dailies or weeklies. If i have time, id do it.
? Repeatable dailys/ weeklies , and you will not have time for anything more
Pally main here, and i dont get bored playing. My favourite alt is deadeye pistoleer, so fun to play!
Warning about Shadowhunter...you do good damage up until 1460 and then you fall off a cliff. If you want more damage, you need 5x3 and probably want 9 gems. I looked at building her 5x3...no matter what engraving combo, the necks were like 90k. Scooter is much cheaper because...well. biggest problem with Scooter is that one of your bigger damage abilities is also your counter, so you don't want to sit on it, and you are supposed to spam abilities as fast as possible inside your transformation because the faster you go the more abilities you can fit in.
My favorite alt, and the character that stopped me from quitting the game...TTH Gunslinger. Cheap, hits hard, can go toe to toe with big juicer classes especially once you get level 9/10 CD gems.
Getting sauced on by a level 5 gem Zerker...that's a big oof.
Use Swift/spec neck and try to buy 4/3 neck, can get 95+ quality for 10-20k max.
Like when other classes are doing full 7 there's no excuse for transformation classes to not take lv9 dmg

Awesome vid. It's nice to see a not so toxic take on the Zerker lol. I think paladin is fun and the fastest chaos dungeon clearer for me as well. Also, you do not need to make decisions like with the Bard's bubbles lmao. But, maybe that aspect of the Bard makes her more "fun". But if we're talking about less barriers here, Paladins really only need 3 engravings to get accepted in most lobbys

I remember I never did my chaos dungeons on paladin until I got my full betrayal set. Also, with the next major balance patch in March, bard will officially become the best chaos dungeon clearer thanks to her new skill. I was watching Saintone talk about this just yesterday as well so I'm pretty excited.
I think what makes bard fun for me is the fact that I have to choose between healing or buffing my teammates. Also, there's no better feeling than timing ur buff with a burst class and seeing them pop off!
You're right about paladins only needing 3x3 btw and if u slap heavy armor as a 4th, you're truly invincible 😂

A good alts is good in all content, who else but summoner? 3 atk gems, top dmg in the game, fastest chaos dungeon, easy to play, strongest pvp class gvg, islands. Good utilities
Oh man summoner is well known as an expensive class in KR already but before I continue, check the prices of her books. They're currently 12k and 18k for NAE
I've never seen anyone swapping from full spec burst builds to liking swift... It's suppose to be the other around because swift builds are easier to prog new content and so much more comfortable. This is not even about preference either, spec burst builds are so much more painful if you don't know a fight and more importantly, tend to be useless when it comes to stagger and destruction because your kit is focusing on damage. But really when it comes to investing in end-game builds, spec builds are much more worthwhile since you're aiming for damage anyway and raids usually have down time when you have to watch cutscene or boss go into dr.
Sharpshooter is a good alt, although if it’s not your niche, VERY boring
He’s dirt cheap now with the main LC/DS builds and he plays crit or swift which are both cheap stats compared to spec
I like bows and liked sniping and the ease of sharpshooter, it’s kinda hard to miss your skills and out of all my classes, has the highest uptime (i play DS)
But if others have a tiny bit better uptime with a lower investment they’ll definitely overtake you and you’re pretty squishy with not much immunity when you have 4 (and soon 7) dps skills to hit in a 7second window (5s for DS+LC) which makes you greed like an igniter sorc. Their animation locks are as heavy as Gunslinger but they have a cooling down phase where you’re free to run around and the extra (soon) 700+ swiftness helps alot
Hello, I'm somewhat new. I made an account on euw by accident and played paladin till 1355, thankfully people warned me about it being dead and now I'm moving to euc. I want to make my main a gs, with a sorc alt, and also a scrapper and a db. As for support, should I wait for artist since it's almost here or replay paladin or bard? It was kinda boring
I'd recommend waiting for artist's release so you can use the free powerpass as well as the hyper express. Also, I'd recommend artist over bard or paladin simply since she's way more fun, has the best animations, and she's a newer class so everything about her is way more polished and feels better!

Once you go swiftness, you never turn back. Swiftness classes are just so much better. I completely changed my roster to swiftness/good mobility classes. 1560 berserker, 1530 reflux, 1520 paladin, 1500 bard, 1500 scrapper and 1500 CO summoner. I will swap out bard for a gunslinger once we get the express event and punika pass. I found paladin more fun than bard and also a better support, that's why I decided I keep the pala and drop the bard

Though I'd argue that you don't really need to me mvp. If you're still playing great and pulling your weight mvp doesn't really matter. Spec builds sorta have that in the bag.

Since launch, there has been 1 paladin who has been a problem.
I agree with everything except zerker. I've seen 1540+ mayhem zerkers with insane quality armor dying in 1 shot in g5-6. Even with the new patch, I still think it's not enough to save them from that. There is also BT build that should be tanky enough, but harder to play for new players.
alts should bee based in your main, if you went a hit master class then make hitmaster classes, if you went for back attackers go for a back attacker, if you went for master brawler then uninstall bcoz there are only 2 in the game
Yea don’t do a reaper alt unless u have a good roster to back her up. You will get gate kept hard if u don’t gone pass entry level for raids. I have a 1500 reaper as an alt and still get gate kept with 5x3 and lvl 7 gems
I had to save for months to be able to push reaper day 1 of her release cuz I knew I had to invest 10x more on her compared to any other character I have in my roster 😩

Blue lancer way to boring imo. Red lancer at least feels like u do dmg plus as a burst it has higher skill ceiling. It’s pretty cheap to build as well with books being dirt cheap cuz of gold frog

Shadowhunter is a decent, cheap alt - I would not, however, describe its damage as "big" or "insane." It definitely has an early power spike compared to other classes, and it's nice that you only need 2 gems and a 5x3 to be close to capped out, but Demonic Impulse has a very low damage ceiling compared to other DPS classes. As long as you're okay with having damage that doesn't scale very well past Brelshaza, go for it.

I have a 1525 taijustu scrapper with 5x3 seupt 50/50 stat, and i must say its pretty weak Even with full uptime and greeding on dmg your dmg is still gonna be mediocre unless your invest on all your gems to lvl 9/10 on all 6 skills both cd and dmg gems. So its a very high investment for an alt. At the time he made this video its understandable that he says hes on mvp screen but once u hit brel gear the scaling of dps starts to show.

As a RE DB main, I 100% agree with you on swiftness classes. I really hate just standing around not doing anything for X amount of time waiting for your burst window to come up. I too have a Tai Scrapper and omg the easiest braindead class you can play. Huge numbers with very little effort. I'm getting close to making a LC SS. I haven't tried any of the hunter classes yet and I heard it is lot of fun to play.
Now what I'm going to disagree with you on is Reaper. Personally, I put Reaper in the same category as Arcana. It makes a great main, terrible alt. First and foremost is the investment. And by investment I'm referring to the amount of time that will be required to to get good with it. It can be very hard to control and requires precise cursor placement on the screen. Now if that doesn't matter to you by all means make one. I have a reaper and it is fun af. But unfortunately, I just can't see myself pushing any further than 1415. So lopang alt she is
I mained RE DB up until reapers release but my RE blade is still my second main character cuz she's just way too fun to play. When it comes to arcana, I'd have to disagree with u putting her in the same category cuz arcana simply has the highest dps ceiling compared to Reaper whether ur playing lunar or hunger. Arcana's burst is so op its insane. However, since you mentioned time investment with getting good, yes u can possibly put them in the same category if we're specifically talking about lunar. Though I do believe that getting used to arcana's cards would be a little more challenging but that's just my personal opinion.

Same I just randomly tried alt my arcanist after coming from a pistoleer but she’s now my main and I love her like you said you really gotta invest the time and can’t just do random rotations with her or the dps will be shit. I’m deciding on either a tai scrapper or a berserker for my 3rd class tbh
support alt > everything else, cheaper (3x3), gem 5 and no gatekeep

I actually have sorceress in my roster and have had her since the release of the game. She's a lopang alt for me but recently I just pushed her weapon to +20 with the free books I got from the event.
Igniter is absolutely insane there's no doubt about it but it's also pretty expensive and you'd have to know the raid well for burst windows as well. Therefore I didn't talk about it in the video.
Reflux on the other hand is way way cheaper BUT she tends to get gatekept unfortunately unless you've invested a good amount in her. Personally, I take reflux sorcs without a problem cuz I think reflux is not only super fun but very safe and reliable. It's just that for some reason people think igniter is the only way to play...so I didn't mention it
@@CrypticBoss Reflux is good but people's mentality is why take low dps class who suck in literally everything else. For example SH damage sucks but SHs are know for carrying raids as they are very hard to kill and they provide top destruction/stagger. Sorcs only good at doing damage and you put yourself at disadvantage by not playing Igniter, Igniter is busted to not play and class is easy if you been raiding for long time and know most burst windows.
As a sharpshooter main I feel violated
The only reason berzerked did more damage was because BT is burst and you RE blade is not
Bro, Gunlancer is just a shit Alt. Do chaos dungeons with him it just sucks. I mean, talking about the easiest content in the game still not hard but bro, hes just so slow, his abilities take so long to be ready and they have a fucking long charge time even with Super Charge lvl 3 and Galewind epic-legendary
More than that his engravings except from grudge (of course) are just all the other way when you compare with other DPS, depending of the building you aimed for you use stuff like barricade, super charge, master brawler

Every class is fine as an alt. I would know because I play 15 of them. Paladins are boring if you don't care about being a good support. They literally do everything: heal, shield, buff, counter, stagger, etc. I personally find Bard to be the most boring. I also find it stupid that you have to choose between buffing and healing. To each their own. I suggest playing with all classes in Trixion to get a feel for them and see which ones appeal to you the most.
I play artist in RU version and I find her the most fun support then bard then paladin but he did say fun is subjective and I agree
@@karinakimmy he said it once, but made it a point to repeat that paladin was boring. I'm just against anyone potentially hindering someone from playing a class just because they don't find it fun. I'm very much looking forward to the artist.

Gunslinger a good alt?
Gunslinger is fun for sure but her being very squishy and needing a lot of tripods, I don't recommend her over the classes mentioned in the vid.
I have a GS myself but I ended up turning her into a lopang alt.
As a main sorceress, i have 4, sorc (main +3 alt) a bard and machinist. For me the machinist is the bad one, hard to find party for legion :/

After clown SH is not good. Even with lvl 10 gems you dont do enough dmg. Goodbye mvp screens. I got mine at 1533 and mainswapping now. Not gonna sink more gold on her. Sadge.
shadow is such a satisfying class but she was soooo expensive it hurted my gold frfr

Dude I swear I've been saying it for the longest time, it's always the paladins inting, especially in hell content, lost some deathless runs to palas failing ghost counter, dying right before ghost phase or even in ghost phase, it's wild :D

Dude zerker was super popular at the beginning cuz it was super op now is nerfed to hell so you dont see them as much not cuz of bots.
Also dont choose sharpshooter you will get gatekeep in every raid.
Zerker was never nerfed to hell. It was just a healing potion change + he's getting buffed for both mayhem as well as berserker's technique in March

IT IS! Just because you don't have to 5x3 them. You can just run 3 or 4x3 and do Akkan nowdays (As a solo player I do Akkan in my main Bard 5x3 and 2 more Alt Bard 4 engravings). You don't need to put Awakening or even Expert 12, just put the Heavy armor and GG.
So these are completely biased and no actual good class suggestions i thought he would be talking about good farming classes for specific areas of the game but bro just horn dogged the whole time
There's no biases in the video 🤣 it clearly states the reasons behind every class but if you're looking to sit there for hours and enjoy peak fishing gameplay, any class will work for you! I'd say you sound more like a Paladin

Destroyer can be frustrating to play so I didn't include it in this video. Of course any class can be played as an alt but for the purposes of this video, I covered classes that were the most reliable and easy to play
I feel like u coulda spent less time shitting on paladin. I don't have one but some friends tell me they enjoy him more than bard (it's all about personal opinions).
Anyways classes that were left out but are definitely fun alts: emperor arcana, tth or pm gunslinger, eo soulfist, rage or gravity destro, barrage or firepower artillerist, eso or first intent wardancer all really fun and recommendable. If anyone has any questions about them feel free to ask me, i have tried them all.
Mayhem zerker is technically squishier than reaper. They are the lowest on the chart

shadow hunter does a lot of things, big insane dmg is not one of them lmfao
Most SH players are also not playing SH seriously and don't know how to min-max damage, I never heard someone saying I am a DI SH main, but you can beat dps in any pug group but in decent statics it is impossible where you have whole group centered toward SORC whale player.
biggest tips to min-max on SH is never dodge any pattern which won't kill you, always be attacking non-stop, you have paralysis immunity on all sills for a reason.
Second tip is if your "A" and "S" will not come off CD before you transform back to human form then force yourself out and quickly build your meter.
Gunslinger has double dash too
It's not the same, they work quite differently.
