From what I've seen, INTJs will do well where ever they have a vision and an Ideal, and will often find a way even if they have to make it on thier own.
very helpful chase. i recently came to be convinced that i'm actually an intj mainly due to the observation about myself that i am feverishly, inescapably obsessed with certainty. i originally thought i was an intp; however, no matter how sound and logical my reasoning to support this hypothesis seemed to be, my uncertainty remained viscerally present in my mind (causing me to simply ignore it). believing i was a SI user, i completely disregarded my introverted intuition's wants/desires/need for achievement/treasure by defaulting to what my family wanted me to do (aka go to college and work a job so dull that i have to turn off my hero function and basically become mentally disabled just to get through every moment). needless to say things have not been going well. it almost feels like i have DID sometimes. though of course one of your recent videos has brought to light "muh certainty" and how baked in and crucial the need for certainty/selfish aspiration is for ni doms. i see now that if i want to have a healthy/not hellishly miserable life i must fully embrace and pursue my selfish desire to do whatever i want in the moment (right now that happens to be researching entrepreneurship so as to game the financial system and become filthy rich [i'm currently soaking up lessons from a cypto 100+ millionaire Luke Belmar to reach this goal ASAP]) frankly, this experience of feeling forced to disregard my own genuine/purely selfish aspirations in order to please my family has been going on since i was around 9 years old and it seems to have been the root cause of how unusually difficult and painful my childhood/growing up has been. anyways, thanks for reading i appreciate all your content.

I know an INTJ that runs a computer service line and he is simply amazing at it. His strong sense of intuition is usually right when troubleshooting, he can look at pages of error logs and see what's relevant and what's not immediately, and he can be very practical and efficient when putting out fires and the phones are ringing off the hook, staying calm under fire. He's got a great sense of humor, keeping his team's morale high by sending them jokes and goofy pictures. He does sometimes struggle with sensing others feelings and takes most things people say entirely too literally but through experience, his intuition guides him well in predicting how people will react to given situations. On top of all that he has a photographic memory and can recall every detail of a computer issue from 5 years ago and exactly what steps he took to resolve the issue. This trait has been invaluable to resolving some situations quickly without a need to look back through ticket logs. This seems to be the ideal career for an INTJ.
I was extremely good as a CSR, but I have bad phone anxiety so every call was very draining to me. I enjoyed working on the back end much more; training, process development, and I'm now a workforce scheduling and forecasting manager, and it's an INTJ's dream. Systems and analysis galore, flexible hours (I can work on the models at midnight if I want), and people actually look forward to your innovations and ideas. And to be effective in Workforce Planning one needs to keep their Fe on the backburner, so it's a good fit for INTJ's there as well.
Embedded Systems and Robotics(from computer engineering field) have been great for me. Creating a system in your head and using the theory to make it work in reality is nice and solving issues are satisfying.
Se inferior is SO good at solving problems. Especially for INTJs. When you’re put in position to put all the fires out, it’s great for your growth. As long as there’s no angry customer to have to talk to directly, an INTJ can thrive. 😂
The worst part for me during my apprenticeship was switching each couple months into a new team with new rules and since I was just a trainee nobody would bother to deal with me. Once I finished and I got into the real workforce, I had trouble finding a team, that wanted to employ me. In the interviews I made the mistake to mention that I planned on getting more education. In the end funnily enough I laid down everything that could I think of being a problem working with me... that kind of honesty was what in the end got me the job I have now. So if it helps... Itry being upfront with your employer to not give them any illusions, also do the same with your co workers? But do not rest on these flaws, they are not an excuse.

So in CSJ's version(?) of MBTI every type is either Affiliative or Pragmatic. This also includes the different sides of the mind: subcounsious, uncounsious and super ego (altough the super-ego doesnt come out as often so I reckon it could be fair to say that this one doesnt affect your daily life as much). INTJ's Ego, subcounsious AND uncounsious are all pragmatic types, thus making the INTJ Triple pragmatic. Meaning the INTJ will be more inclined to do what works and ask for forgiveness rather then permission, then what is the right thing to do. The way I see it is, no matter what state you're in as an INTJ, there will always be some level of pragmatism involved. Oh and Pragmatism in the CSJ meaning not actual pragmatism, that would be more akin to Interest types.

Hey Chase, excuse me if this is not the place to ask this question.... Do you think an INTJ would be a good psychologist / therapist, and do you think it will make for a happy life. In many ways I feel an INTJ would be great at this and also enjoy it alot, because as a therapist you basically work with like 1 individual client at a time, and you are very free in that way, and you probably dont have to adjust to much or care about the social rules in the workplace...
