@@northside0nation Bruh theres literally thousands of pics of him doing it for days after the fire to the point where he was sleeping two or three hourse a night betweern cooking
i got to meet him a long time ago when i was working at the openings for his restaurant Johnny Garlics in Brentwood,CA. He came a week before opening day to talk and meet everyone. He was literally just the same as he was on TV.
what Guy has done for the fire fighters, first responders, but most importantly, those displaced by CA wilfdfires is truly incredible and shows he really cares
I live in Sonoma County CA where Guy does. He is so involved in community and gives back in very private and some public ways. He has helped schools and charities, first responders and fire victims and employees who kept things going. He is proud of his roots and we are proud of him!
Of all the celebrity chefs out there, Guy is my favorite. He's a character for sure, but he's a wholesome, down-to-earth type who would give you the shirt off his back if it came to it. Hearing him tell the story of what he and his crew did during that massive fire several years ago to save the property speaks volumes about what he'll do to save his home and community. God bless him for what he does to support 1st Responders and both active duty military personnel and veterans!!!
When I was a bellman in Las Vegas, I got the pleasure of meeting him and his family and they were very nice and seemed like they were fun people to hang out with.
I don't have the means that Guy has, but I still have the same desire about cars. I have owned (brand new) a 1988 Ford Mustang GT, a 1988 Corvette Z51, a 1991 Corvette ZR-1, a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V, a 2013 Audi S5 vert,(still own) and a 2016 Corvette Z06 vert.(still own) I can sit and stair at my cars all day. Driving is icing on the cake. Thanks for the video!
I like his attitude about the expensive car collection. They ARE Art. You can drive them and he say he drives all of them. Probably will not lose money on any of them. And art collectors always say "Buy what you like, it might go up in value".
Guy recently purchased a Car restored by my Late Uncle Al who lived in Lakeport California. It is an 1934 Buick I believe. It's a Big ole Bonnie and Clyde looking vehicle. Oh My I made this comment before I watched the complete video. And I'm so proud to see the car that Guy purchased from my Uncles collection. Unc didn't mess around, all of his cars were like another child to him. I was also thinking that the Trans Am may have also been one. Thank You Guy for shining on Uncle Al's restoration.
@domjohney I'm glad that you are the caretaker now and I'm sure that you are proud of them. Thanks for getting me straight on The Buick A. I remember tooling around town one time on an earlier in the Big Ole Military weapons carrier is what I believe Unc called it. Also, great memories of going out with him and making his café stops and getting a coffee or tea, he literally knew everyone in that entire area. Also, cruising in The Cadillac. And learning to waterski.
@@timsmothers8740 Yep, you’ve definitely had the AL experience! The WWII weapons carrier (Brutus) is also with Al’s grandson, the ‘59 Cadillac is with AL’s son, and the 60’s ski boat I sold to a local CHP officer.

that $75 chicken sandwich combo at his restaurants paying off....with that being said I actually dig the dude a lot....I just can't get behind wild ass prices at places for nothing special

They had everything on the menu and you can order anything and as much as you wanted. Truly a people's person.
A cool and quite varied car collection. Lots of entitled jealous haters out there I’m sure but unless the person got their wealth illegally somehow, good for them. A lot of wealthy people are just that because they’re risk takers and most of us don’t have the balls to take on those kids of risks so I have nothing but admiration for the good ones in society. Well done video and I’m happy to see some of my Chicken Guy tenders money went towards some very cool rides as well.😁
