Yep, owned one and used it 10 years....all newer Berettas have problems, in the beretta plant in italy they have no final check in the production, because they want to produce cheap and fast...see the 692, friends of mine bought it, 7 different and all had problems....
Good afternoon Roger! I am fairly new to trapshooting. Worked at at a trap club when I was a teen but did not shoot much other than hunting. My son and I got involved in trapshooting for his high school team. Now we both shoot in a men's league at an area club. I certainly enjoy you videos. Quite informative. Plus, you have a very gentlemanly way about you which I appreciate. Thank you and keep them coming!
It's good to see you Mr. Pace. Excellent video as always. I have a Silver Pigeon 1 and I love it. I'm looking forward to your next video. Take care sir.
BRR...thank you...next video is not far away...i'm aiming for one video a week ...providing people can stand looking at my face...it's a face that only a mother would love and a dog would lick...stay well and thanks for watching!!!
Thank you for another informative video Roger. I am getting better at trap. My son however, get a near perfect score every time. Your videos have really helped me to focus on what I am doing, not all the men behind me giving me their advice every time I take a shot. Cheers.
Tracy...glad to hear your son is shooting well...you are not the first woman to complain about too many men giving advice...I understand exactly how you feel...it would be annoying and not helpful at all...stay well and stay happy !!!
Love your videos! I just got a 686 silver pigeon 1 sporting 20 gauge and love it. I watched your older videos on that particular one and you helped me decide that’s the one for me. You have Very informative content. Do you still have your 686 ? Thank you 🙏🏼 sir !!
I sold my 686 because it did not have an adjustable stock i now have a 690 The guys at the club with their Perazzi's make fun of it and call my gun a tomato stake. Stay well!!!
Roger, I bought brand new beretta 692 and the ejectors are not “switchable”. They obviously fixed this “problem “ on the last versions :) Happy shooting!
Hope you are keeping well Roger - You haven’t made a video for a little while. I pick up my first Shotgun tomorrow - a Miroku ML11. Quick question. Can you dry fire a shotgun without creating any damage ? Thanks for the videos.
Great review Roger !! Very satisfied with my 690 ! I got it last year because of you and I do not regret it !! All dought Ido not shoot as much as you and mainly shoot skeet... I wonder what is your shooting routine ? At 6000 rounds a year, how many days a week and what is your average days at the range... ? You go in the morning, how many round is a average day... etc... maybe a video on that would be nice ... anyway thanks again for encourage us to go out there and shoot... going there now, even if its - 14 Celcius up here !!
Luc...i go to practice on Saturdays and shoot 3 or 4 rounds of 25 targets...on Sundays...to my wife's disgust I usually go to a local competition which involves 100 targets over the day's events...but remember Luc...happy wife ...happy life...i must add that if there is a family event then that takes precedence over going shooting...stay well and thanks for watching!!!
Hi Roger, going true your videos, How are you doing down there ? We are confined in the house because of the COVID-19, my sheet/trap club is closed... so I cleaned all my guns, now the wife wants me to clean the windows... yes dear ! Keep safe Roger !!
Luc...we are restricted to only 2 people out in public...our gun club is closed...we can only go outside for essentials or exercise...i miss going to the club...thank you and stay well!!!
Roger hello from Seattle Washington, Thanks for your wonderful videos. I wonder if you have any insight or comparison regarding Beretta 693 vs 695 Jamal
Good honest view, nice looking shotgun for sure. The only thing wrong if it is at all, is the fixed chokes, so using steel shot is a no go. But I look at it as, well, I can buy another choked gun for steel..... Has your shooting improved since you stopped using the silver pidgeon?? Great stuff 👍👍👍
Craig...I stopped using the silver pigeon because it did not have an adjustable stock...changing guns didn't help me it was the adjustable stock that allowed me to adjust the gun so that it shot where i looked...good on you and thanks for watching...much appreciated!!!
Mr Pace, how are you doing during this difficult time with Corona virus? Please take a good care of yourself. Since most of us are on forced quarantine at home, may be you could share some home drills with a shotgun to improve our consistency?
Hi roger I have 2 guns that I shoot regular with one fits me really well I see just the end beed siting like the setting sun when looking Down the rib. The other gun I see the mid and end beed with a gap in between i shoot much better with the first and am thinking of removing some stock to lower the drop I have measured both guns and there is about 1/4 inch difference at the worst place I’m a joiner by trade so the wood work side is not an problem what are your thoughts. Thanks matthew is
Mat...where you see a gap between the 2 beads that would mean that the gun would shoots quite high...lowering the stock would make it shoot lower...pattern the gun before you do any work on the stock...good on you and happy shooting!!!
Hi Roger, do you still have this gun? Did you have any others issues with it? How does recoil feel? I am thinking about buying one. It's still pretty expensive (around 5.000 euro), so please respond. Thank you in advance
I sold the gun earlier this year and bought a Beretta ASE Gold...I was very happy with the gun...thanks for watching......much appreciated...stay well and happy shooting !!!
@@rogerpace9322 thanks, I got I it few weeks ago. Now I will finish my league with old gun, as there is just one more shootout ( the leading position after 14 rounds) Next season, going strong with 690 black trap. Thanks for your response! Stay safe..
Roger - how are you going ? Hope you are able to shoot again post Covid-19 lockdown. I’m a 55yo beginner, looking to spend time with my 12yo son who is also new to shooting. I’ve been using your videos to assist me with cleaning and gun fit. I would love a Beretta but will probably get a ML11 Miroku shortly due to my budget. Hope you are well mate and looking forward to more of your videos.
Gday roger, hope u r well. Do u have any intention of making more videos. I have 690 black and love it
Tony i'm doing one tonight...and you will get to see my dubious features again...thanks and stay well!!!
Waiting for my lunch, watching your video. After lunch going to clay ground with my 682 Gold E, probably the best Beretta competition gun ever made. 🙂

flash... i am going to try it and if it works I will be very happy and let you know...stay well!!!

Thx for your film but Beretta quality is meanwhile bad, most issues with the 692....friends bought 7 different and all had problems..
That's very interesting...but details about the problems they had would also be very interesting!!!
Roger Pace bluing was bad and sometimes not done, ejector not working, system box was not properly milled...
