    Thanks a lot for your videos! I have a question some Celta instructors say that there are controlled, guided and freer practice? On the internet I couldn't find clear distinction between them? If you don't mind, could you please clarify it? I would be very grateful.

    Respected Sir, I regularly watch every video of yours. Each second of the video has strong points that learners can imbibe, especially for CELTA candidates like me. Each section of the video is well planned. You use very lucid language. I am able to imbibe every bit of it. I tried a few tricks that you had shared in the TBL approach(Task Based Learning) for my TP 5. It helped me to get an S+ on a few sections of the feedback. Thank you so much sir. But, with due respect, dear sir, the background music (in this video) is not required. Learners like me are more eager to grab the pearls of wisdom that you are sharing. So it distracts the learners when they are seriously trying to focus on what you are saying. Your words are enough sir. Its beyond the music... Regards, Anu from India

      Thank you so much for the motivating comments as for the music, I agree. However, it was played in the sport club where I was and I was unable to stop it. This is why I do not shoot videos there anymore.

    Must we do the 2 kinds controlled and freer practice?
    And is it important to make a student discussion at each stage?

    Hi Shady, I have a reading lesson. My tutor doesn't want me to teach words at pre-teach stage. Should I do it after gist reading then? Many thanks

    • @Britishey
      @Britishey  Рік тому +1

      My advice is to follow your tutor; the text you are dealing with might be free of blocking words and that is why there is no need for this stage. Get back to your tutor and discuss more with him.

    • @Britishey
      @Britishey  2 роки тому +1

      @@sherifnabil5529 if you are adapting or designing your own material then you can use PPP or TBP or TTT whenever you want. If your question is about how to recognise them in coursebooks, then, it is a TBP lesson when there is a listening or reading text, it is a TTT when it starts with a question and it is a PPP when it starts with a presentation.
