This truck is going to look killer 4wd swapped! You look like you are being very thorough I can appreciate the amount of effort that's going into this project. Thanks for taking the time to video it.
Nate, if you or any of your subscribers are looking for any 4x4 factory parts, I have a 1st gen rolling chassis that’s 4x4 with the transfer case, auto trans, and driveshaft, 4.10 gears that I’m selling down in Texas for $3500. The auto trans needs rebuilt but everything else is there, locking hubs and all
Hey buddy in the process of swapping my 92 and have trouble with location of the front shock mount location if u could send pics of ur or a video it would help me out a lot
Thank you so much for this. I bought my first 1st Gen about a year ago..not nearly as pretty as yours but it has potential. 1993 extra cab DW250 2wd 5spd... I am planning to do a 4wd conversion.. Looks a bit more difficult than I thought but looks doable. Any left over parts I might need you want to sell? Im finding parts difficult to locate, especially a front axle and transfer. Im enjoying your videos, new sub.
I have the same truck, 1993 350 cummins 5spd in same color and the same if not better shape. Stock and not a spot of rust on the frame. You too can make the same truck if you buy mine from me. 35k obo
Not a damn thing wrong with the Getrag's just don't try to make big power and they'll last and as far as 2nd gear falling out of them that's the "linkage" between the seat and steering wheel's fault for being to lazy to shift down into first at a stop morons pulling away in 2nd gear all the time are the only other killer of these trannys, drive it properly and don't try to put 350-400hp through it and it will last as long as any of the other transmissions in these truck absolutely love mine still shifts and works great at 293,000

Transfer case is going to be the hardest part to source. I'm currently looking as well. It's not a bad swap though!
@@NaztyNate I have a t-case I’d consider selling.
@@logant7985 I just got mine in the truck! Thanks tho!
I’m in the process of doing this same swap. What leaf spring set up did you go with?
I got the 4 inch lift soft ride sky jacket leafs
@@NaztyNate does it ride like a lumber wagon?
@@kyleoudenhoven6920 Actually not too bad. Definitely worse than the 2wd though

@@NaztyNate yes
hey man where are you from
when are you gonna start
Next week! When I will finally have free time!
Go with the nv4500, the getrag isn't very good. Nv5600 would be sweet
Might do an NV, haven't decided yet. As long as I can make the shift boot and floor look good, it would be a great option

@@in-rust-we-trust2831 yeah this one shifts great still. I've decided I'm going to get a rebuilt getrag for it. Keeping it original.
@@in-rust-we-trust2831
If u had to go out and buy one tho, why get the getrag? To each they're own
@@justinschooler6243 way cheaper to replace or rebuild if someone needed to and no more reliable then the NV series of trannys
