I really like that new colourway, although I think black sidewalls will look better than tan once it’s built up. Either way, it looks great and I’m sure it will look great.
On the Spesh i’d be inclined to only add the S to the front of the head tube and then leave it.
I was thinking the same with tyres, I’ll leave the tan walls and see how they look. Have some black tyres as well so the option is there. I just put the s on the front of the spesh

Do you think Marin would make the frame set up as a full blown bike ? I don’t have the no how to get all the other bit I just like buying full bike been looking at Ribble cgr or there gravel sport but now I really like this colour way, and as your in the no with them I wonder if you would you if they would consider it. Thanks can’t wait to see your build of it
Unfortunately I don’t think they will. I have to admit this colourway is much nicer than the complete build.

Really like the specialized paint job. If it was me I’d use an S logo as a head badge.
New Marin Frame is beautiful, but I couldn’t swap. Orange/Blue is one of my favourite colour combinations.
I also love the orange and blue but it’s nice to change it up sometimes.
That is a beautiful colourway! Love a metallic job, and holographic logos too. Top dollar! As for the specialized, I'd go with just the "S" logo on the head tube.

Headlands owner myself. I'm curious what your opinion is on taking all the bolts out that you aren't using? I've considered it but I'm worried my frame will then end up full of mud. Thoughts?
Replace them with rubber frame plugs (Problem Solvers or similar), which sit almost flush with the frame. More aesthetically pleasing and prevent water ingress too.
I would remove them without putting something there stop water getting in. Rubber bungs sound like a good option.
Another nice easy frame to notice you on of I see you round the area! Very nice!

Wheel question, does it make sens to go for carbon 42+/45cm rim depth in gravel over 30/35cm? Assuming fro this example that wheels have rims with 24 cm wide and hookless internal profile.
Did wonder about the Marin Headlands as a one bike two sets of wheels gravel / road option. What size frame do you run Dave relative to your height?
