You should mention it as she is an immediate family member. US Government knows this information already, so it would be unwise to hide it. It will not bear any negative impact. Your success chances depend on your ability to tell your story effectively.

The visa interview instructions in my country clearly state that any additional documents besides the required ones are highly discouraged. What is your take on it? Required document: Ds160, i20, payment confirmations, transcripts, passport, sevis Additional documents: Financial documents, offer letters, bank valuations, etc
Its not discouraged if they find your document are not legitimate then they might ask foe it and at that point there is high chance of rejection i am also from nepal don't missinform

It’s not an automatic denial. However, you should be prepared to answer effectively why just one university.
