Liszt's transcriptions are masterpieces in and of themselves. Performances like this one without smooshing things into mush and instead using minimal pedal to give great clarity. It is a joy to hear and enjoyed every minute of it.

Вау. Я никогда такого исполнения не слышал, так сильно напоминающего оркестр и с такой тонкой динамикой. Очень круто!

Aj.tje Beethoven-List symphonies are so much fun to play and to listen to. I greatly enjoyed the minimal pedaling which really makes these transcriptions stand out and done so well here. Most performances I've heard of these symphonies use way too much pedal but here it is PERFECT.

Your concentration and precision is remarkable. Your ability to condense everything into this one piano astonishes me. Thank you for all of your investment of time and energy to benefit the rest of us. Bravo, Vyacheslav.

I loved the unusual softer dynamics in the opening Allegro con brio, the pleasing phrasing in the Andante cantabile, and the surprising cadenza-like section near the end of the work. I think even with your subtle deviations from the Liszt score it all turned out quite well.

Pure notes not muddled by pedal - addictive.

The pedalling is M & M: minimalistic and masterly. ❤

But I still prefer the interpretation of Gryazbert von Vyacheslan with the Gryazlin Philharmonic from 1962. Or the older one with Vyachhelm Gryazwängler recorded during an air raid in 1943.

Very nice. Have you considered doing something for tonebase? be fantastic to hear your thoughts on your arrangements since i'm doing a concert of some of your arrangements in 6 months.
    Cheers,
    Ben
