This is a lovely arrangement. It's great to hear Mr Gryaznov play something just a wonderful as his large romantic period arrangements. Truly great pianism.
Beautiful piece, moving, peaceful and dynamic at the same time. 🎹🎼🎶 Great recording in your studio, with beautiful angles, especially the one with your left hand wonderfull playing in the foreground 😉✋🌹
A very nice arrangement. It brings out some of the tonal subtleties of the music which are not so apparent when it is being blasted out on a massive cathedral organ, as in most recordings.
SO WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS, MAESTRO!!!!! Thank you for my favourite Bach and for an excellent majestic impressive delightful performance, congratulations for over 21.800 subscribers to your great channel, you deserve more and more..., I've added this video to my public playlist called "My Favourite Classical Music", again my best regards from Poland, have a happy sunny warm new week. Спасибо Вам большое, Вячеслав! Никогда прежде не слышал это произведение на фортепиано. До сих пор в доме родительском лежит пластинка, где эту фантазию, среди прочего, исполняет А.Фисейский.
@@VyacheslavGryaznovPiano nice, thank you, that’s some mighty fine playing there, Tex! Charging at it with both guns blazing! Doesn’t get any better than that…its amazing that Bach never knew the delights of the modern piano, truly one of the crowning jewels of human invention, yet his music (i think) sounds the best on it, especially when played like a high performance virtuoso, like yourself, hammers flying in waves and ripples…of course, he had a well tempered cathedral organ to noodle on, so perhaps its useless speculation…anyhoo, great work…can’t imagine gould or schiff or whoever playing it anymore satisfying
so, i tried to buy your downloadable score but i couldn’t get the web page to work so i hit the tab below your blurb and it sent me to a page for $20. so there’s some lunch money for you. if you feel like sending me an email or text of the score, i sure would like to give it a gander
thanks for letting me know about the broken link! It's working now. I have sent you an email - please check your spam folder if you didn't get it. (this Fantasia sounds much better on the piano, does it?..)
@@VyacheslavGryaznovPiano I'm into BWV 572 playing on my piano. I'm stuck to Dupre's interpretation for organ so piano lets me control the volume of the instrument and express the crescendo. Piano has everything you need to imitate the organ. Bass register always get me.
@@VyacheslavGryaznovPiano oh nice yeah I can really hear that punch on those low notes. So you just place the bass mic directly over those bass string and then balance it in the mix later?
Until now was only aware of the Bax transcription of the central section (so came up with my own on the fly for the outer toccatas). Here is a masterful transposition for two hands and technically brilliant recording, bringing full clarity and warmth, light and shade. There is innovation and detail to the first section, contrast and overall structural control in the central section. On a great organ the last section is usually 'shock and awe', but the gradual build of the fantasy approach here also totally suits the improvisatory nature of the music. Finally, a totally satisfying rendition of this whole piece for solo piano! ua-cam.com/video/62_J7dUKewU/v-deo.html
this man should be more known worldwide, exceptional musician

Great sound quality! How did you mic the piano and what microphones did you use?
Thank you. I use Russian mics, Oktava 105 & 519. The piano is really good, it's easier to capture 😄
@@VyacheslavGryaznovPiano oh nice well sounds amazing, what type of configuration did you use for the mics. Like their placement that is
@@michaeldavis623 just a stereo pair and one mic for the bass register. I have really juicy bass on my piano so it worth capturing it😄

Bel arrangement, mais l'interprétation manque un peu de nuances.
Buenas noches. No tienen educación.
