Metro doors have emergency release button when power failure . When you pull that thing the door can open manually by hand . With this method it is not possible ?
I think now they use pneumatic systems . When the door closes i hear air noise . And also air compressor kicking . ( noticed in italy )

But here in Delhi Metro, during power cut or Emergency they open only the Emergency Exit doors available at the Rear and Front of the Train.
