My mad van broke one of the spring retainers on the rear shock , and I used a piece from a Chinese car to fix it. Ours will be coming out this week sometime, finally got a metal spur to replace the plastic one
hi, friend! how are you? I bought this brushed truck but in purple, when you can check it out it's on my channel... have you had any problems with the differential gears... the truth is I haven't used mine yet, because I heard rumors that these transmission boxes changes do not have any grease in the gears and that causes the teeth of the differentials and the internal satellite gears of the differential to break...do you think that if I run my mad van on pavement (off road) I could break some gear or tooth? of the differential? Many youtubers have complained about the brushless version and that is why I decided to buy the brushed version...regards friend! excellent content
Hi just run it have fun! I been running mine and it's been fine. You can always loosen the slipper clutch a little more so it will protect the gears more.
I replace all my Kyosho shock seals with silicone o-rings, I also use Team associated Green slime on the new O-rings when I assemble the shocks. The Green Slime is an extra bonus to prevent seals leaking & works very well.
Yes I have used green slime it's great stuff! Don't know why they even put rubber O rings in the shocks it was silly of them to do this! Thanks for watching.
Good fix Steve shocks are always a pain
That's for sure but using rubber O rings these days is just crazy! Thanks for watching 👍
Not it's week. Jermy broke a gear, you had leaky shocks. Best wishes your maintenace'll hold.
Yep I passed my bad luck onto him! LOL!!! Thanks for looking.
Good tip, hopefully it solves the leaky shocks for you for good! I will keep an eye on mine!
I hope so too! kyosho rubber O rings come on!

Cool! Mine been good other than leaky shocks and the last breakage but I flipped it on it's lid real hard!
Very nice tip Steve! I’ll have to keep an eye on my Mad Van shocks, no leaks..yet!👍😊
Hopefully they improved them by now. Thanks HD!
Man I hate when a shock is leaky , I ordered 2 set a month ago and both leak. But that o ring replacement saves the day everytime
They need silicone O rings. the rubber ones stretch and then leak. Thanks
Very annoying leaky shocks, but rubber O-rings in this day and age.
So cheap rubber O rings are not good!! Thanks
