This melody makes me feel very melancholy. A desolate and empty Lythos. The kings, queens and princes are dead. The sky dyed black. The divine dragon no longer exists. The ruins of the Somniel lie in the sea. The rain falls on a land condemned to oblivion. The Fell Xenologue is a great DLC.
Yup, that’s the one. The Elyso that we all are familiar of is the regular stone tower where as the Xenologue version of Elyso is a completely flipped reality similar to the upside down gimmick of Stone Tower. Yea I know, both Engage and Majora’s Mask aren’t the same Game genres but both share the moment of dread and sorrow in my opinion.
@zoran387 Agreed, both Stone Tower Temple and the inverse Elyos evoke those feelings. Coincidentally, the upside-down version of Stone Tower Temple and the Xenologue Elyos are distorted remixes of their original counterparts, which is why I see you found similarities between the two, despite being from two different games and franchises.
@@FrNSICs cus they were situated in different places in the normal world, but in comparison I'm sure the ring versions were around at some point in the FX world too
Makes sense, since Yasuhisa Baba not only works for IS but also was the sound director for both Super Paper Mario and Engage. It's pretty amazing how 16 years later, their music strikes the same unique beats.
Elyos itself looks a lot like Donut Island from Super Mario World, down to the final boss area being in the center of the map and suerged until you unlock it.
I enjoyed the Xeno dlc story well enough. Sure the plot twist happened like rapid fire but nil and Nel were extremely good characters. Plus what rafas did for Nel was basically what I wanted to see more of for lumera giving her better development seeing the bond form
I agree, they hit 2/3 for story arcs. Nel’s reveal of her concealed love was well done as well as the family like dynamic the four winds showed. Even if some parts of the plot didn’t make sense, it didn’t matter since the main focus was to develop the characters and I think they did a well and proper job with that, at least more than the main game.
I’m sure they will. I do want to get back to feh at some point. Haven’t done it in months. Taking a break from it. Man though, feh really can be quite fun when you don’t spend a single cent on it and don’t get sucked in. I’ve learned my lesson on that front.
Biggest downgrade from main Elyos is Firene. Look how dry they look compared to normal Firene. Elusia over there is suffering from global warming, and Solmic sand here isn't the vibrant yellow we're used to. Brodia's downgrade in relation to the others in this aspect is only ever seen in the maps. The perennial rain and thunder...often used in the likes of Sonic CD's Bad Futures. Lythos is as dry as FX! Firene, when it should be blue-greenish. And I guess there's no Gradlon here...
God this highkey goes so hard perfect for alt, soon to be destroyed, world

The Fell Xenologue is a great DLC.
You’re right.. it felt so.. dead. Looking around it.. it was like a husk
No, it’s a terrible DLC. It’s a disgrace.
@@FireEmblemTheRedTowerbesides gameplay wise which isn’t even the absolute worse thing ever how is this DLC a disgrace
@@Sunny_Day8007 The story is pretty weak. At work currently, so can't really go into detail, but there's plenty of videos on the subject.
@@FireEmblemTheRedTower Literally how is the story weak in anyway? It’s better then the whole Ashen wolves DLC story
I love Engage's soothing world map theme, so hearing this new, mysterious take on it was such a pleasant surprise!
The sitar playing the melody is what makes this so amazing and you can't convince me otherwise.
The sitar and key signature really bring to mind Chrono Trigger's Corridors of Time. I love it.
I agree. Corridors of Time is such an amazing theme
OMG I LITERALLY SAID THIS ON MY STREAM!!!!! I thought I was the only one who thought this 🤣
MAN! I'm so happy I wasn't the only one who thought that! It's that sitar.
The DLC thematic itself reminds me a lot of Chrono Cross, main character goes to a world where he or she died.
Yesssssssss and the music honestly reminds me more of Chrono Cross then Chrono Trigger@@mauricesteel4995
The song makes me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy. It’s perfect
I know. It just reeks the “this world is fucked with a capital F” energy. It’s hauntingly beautiful and I love it for that
The freakin stone tower vibe from listening to this. The whole tone flip upside down.
Do you mean Stone Tower from Majora's Mask?

Oh, the Ring Paralogues aren't on the map. That's a neat touch.
makes me wonder why the bracelets' paralogues are in the ring lythos

I hope they put this in Fire Emblem Heroes
Never realized just how much this reminds me of Flopside from Super Paper Mario
It does have a very Paper Mario-esque style of composition

The Xenologue sucked, lol.
Do you think you could upload the map/boss theme from the final chapter of the DLC?
Lythos and The Four Hounds Voice Clips still remains. Can you do them both please?

Gives me dark route vibes. Also Sonic EXE world vibes.
Also, Alear = my FELL DRAGON wife/mate.:3

it all makes sense for what's basically a dying world tho
