I didn't expect it to be built like a tank, it does the job just fine and holds humidity, I've got about $1000 worth of cigars in 2 of these, most of the reviews say the same from people that actually bought them
@@johnnymetallica1039depends on where you live and how much your government rips you off. I live in Australia and you absolutely can fit over $1k in a 25 count humidor. Over here you can expect to pay around $50 each for your average robusto and 50x25=$1250 I've got around 20 sticks in my humidor at the moment and that's around $1k worth. And I've definitely got over $1k in my liquor cabinet. I need to move to a better country 😅

It’s airtight and virtually traps in humidity and at a reasonable cost if you’re looking for a DEPENDABLE and affordable desktop to protect your considerable investment.
So here's the deal. A Humidor is a just a box that's tight enough to maintain a consistent humidity, has a moisture delivery system that allows you to increase humidity as needed, and has a device to read the relative humidity. The Amazon humidors do just that. The veneers are real wood of varying thickness. Are they as sturdy and as long lasting as a real solid wood humidor? No! But they're a good option to store and preserve your cigars in a nice looking box until you can afford something of higher quality! Just know what you're getting into and invest in a higher quality / more accurate digital hygrometer to put in it that you can use in your tupperware or high dollar humidor as well.
I wish that I saw this video yesterday, my Amazon humidor arrives today. I now consider this my first rookie mistake and hope that they’re fewer in the long run. Thanks for your tips and advice. 🍻
Don't panic man.I have 3 humidors of differing sizes, all from Amazon and they've been going strong for the past year and a half with boveda packs in them.Look after it and enjoy✌️💨
All fair points but you did leave the most important thing out. A humidor needs a good seal. The test is you open the humidor lid and let it fall shut. If it doesn’t immediately slam shut then it has a good seal. If it makes a loud bang. Wood hitting wood, the seal is garbage and Ive seen beautiful 200 hundred dollar humidors with garbage seals. Another test is put a small flash light in the humidor, turn all the lights off in the room and make sure it’s near dark. If you see any light shining through the seal or anywhere else? Garbage humidor. All that means is you have a 200 dollar wood box that will not keep humidity. You can get a good plain jane humidor for around 80 to 100 bucks. Even 50 to 60 will do. As long as you aren’t looking for a 100 count or more
I dunno, I’ve had a glass top one for 2 years. Seasoned for 2 weeks with a 84% bag then 69% always full of sticks holds humidity perfectly. The gauge that comes with it shows humidity at 60% but my digital one shows dead on 69%. Personally I’d rather spend my money on more cigars than an expensive humidor at the moment. If I ever had a large collection I’d invest in one but I only tend to keep 20-25 at a time and re stock soon as down to ten
I believe he literally punched out the bottom in order to demonstrate that it’s cardboard with veneer. He’s right that people shouldn’t trust safeguarding their cigars in a cheap fly-by-night product from Chyyynuhh. Tossing them in a (new/unused) Tupperware with a Boveda is far, far better
Can you recommend one? I'm looking for a small cabinet one. was going to go with the Glencreag. I'm really at the point in just making one myself if need be.
The Glencreag looks pretty good the cedar draws have side panels, so the cigars wont roll out. The bottom holds accessories. Not bad just remember to recalibrate the hydrometer.
I’ve got an Amazon humidor and it’s great. I could have got a mega-expensive one but, I’m sure that if I wrenched the lid back and punched the shit out of it…..it would break too 🤷🏻♂️
I have 3 Amazon humidors of differing sizes and they have all been doing a sterling job this past year and a half.Just make sure to use bovedas and invest in some GOOD hygrometers.✌️💨
I know you have this filmed for tiktok type sites but you would be better off filming in portrait mode for UA-cam. You have good quality and content mate, I would really like to see you do well. Keep up the quality and I'm sure you're gonna make it.
He's RIGHT ITS SHIT!! I have one of those and I don't put anything in it..Its ok if you're just a sometime cigar smoker and don't have a lot of GOOD CIGARS!! LIKEI do I spend a lot on my cigars so I invested in a electric cigar humidor and I have a real wooden humidor...
That's why Jeff Bezos is the second richest man in the world. He sell's garbage and if Amazon Customers don't understand this, then they deserve the garbage they purchase. I have bought a Humidor from Amazon that serves its purpose but it wasn't cheap either. $699.99 for a New Air x Boveda and it's holding up well. No complaints here, yet. Either way, you got to buy Boveda Humidity Packs for any humidor. It's a great piece in my opinion.

Pfft! You couldn’t fit $1k worth of cigars in 2 of those tiny boxes if you went on a Meerapfel and United Cigar Group shopping spree.

I've had a cheap humidor since 2018. Quick maintenance once or twice a year, and I've never had any issues.
Thanks for the heads up. I’m searching around for a good one now.
