Not really a fan of the flashing lights to the sound of Vivaldi's Four Seasons with a weird electronic drumbeat playing, but other than that it was cool! 🤷🏻‍♂️

I thought it may have been appropriate to play Handel's Water Music, rather than Vivaldi. But that's just me.

@@brianward7724 - To be fair to them, they used to have an actual string quartet, which would have been amazing! But they lost them due to COVID stuff.

@@VeloObscura Lots of great things lost during Covid, unfortunately, especially lots of people.

You guys make great ambassadors for Queensland tourisum hidden gems. I have lived in Qld for 20 years and have never heard of Paronella park/castle. What water filtration system are you using on your trip? I saw a glimpse of it in this episode, but couldn't quite tell.

Cheers Ron! We've been told that before, although about Tassie that time! 😆
The water filter is a Katadyn BeFree. It has a much higher flow rate than the Sawyer we used in the past, but it clogs much easier and requires more cleaning.

Castle in the rainforest - very cool. Must have been challenging to build! Thanks for sharing Bonnie and Dave!

Love the pace of these videos. Very chilled, at the same time engaging.
Years ago, joined an organised bicycle ride from Bangkok through Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh city.
Once I got into the rhythm of the road, it was fabulous. I felt we engaged with the communities and the landscape along the way so much better than in a bus.
The highlights were many, but riding around Siem Reap was brilliant. Ride out to Angkor Wat is one I still remember vividly.
    Keep 'em coming guys.

Thanks so much, Keith! We really appreciate your kind words!
I make a real effort to try and make things flow as best I can with the footage I got at the time. There's always room for improvement though, and I'm always striving to make them better!
That sounds like an amazing tour! We hope to go that way someday. Bonnie has done a fair bit of travel around SE Asia, but never by bike - so hopefully we can fix that soon!
We'll hit you up for some tips when we finally get round to heading that way! 😁

I have found that the slider on zippers "opens up" with wear. Squeezing the slider with pliers may bend the zip slider back into it's original shape/dimensions. Lubricating the zip teeth with wax etc helps to make the slider move more easily, and helps to prevent the slider from bending.

      Good tips, Grant!
That's all stuff we ended up doing for the last 1000km of the trip to try and keep it going.
In future I won't be buying tents with curved zips, as I believe this exacerbates the issue.
      Cheers!

Bonnie, you sure can put that tent up quickly!! Very handy in a thunderstorm, I would think.🤣😂🤣
