I'm surprised that this song didn't get the same recognition.
Probably cause BATDS wasn't a major hit like BATIM.
You forget that Build Our Machine was made at the start of BATIM's fandom, arguably being the thing to really catalyse its growth. By the time this song was made, BATIM's fandom has really shrunk and become less active as the game fell out of many people's consciousness.

I love the whole song, but the most favouirire lines of mine are 0:47-01:22. The bitterness and anger in Will's voice captures the message very well. In my darkest times i felt this way too - i saw myself as "a man in the middle" who tries their best to "find the truth" about theirselves and their life path. I struggled with it, confronting others' misunderstanding and indifference. But now i know that the people who "can sing it right but there's no more symphony" can't stop me even if they really tried. Because "I AM ME" and i know where i am heading.

It feels like every time I find a DAGames song I haven’t heard before, it’s the greatest song I’ve ever heard.
