Theory: This was before Henry came to the studio
and it explains why we have to do the whole carnival switch thing in Chapter 4,
Boris took the materials and locked the monsters away so nobody would get harmed
But why would boris stick around when henry was goin around and doin stuff for alice?
He might've got hit on the head with a Can of bacon soup in chapter 2
when he woke up he forgot most of his Adventures, after that he was making some bacon soup when Henry arrived and Passed out

I like to imagine our Boris escaped Evil Alice, and was just wandering the studio, looking for us. And before you say Evil Boris had Boris's bone, Evil Alice could've just given him that, to mess with us, and break our hearts. Also, I love how Boris still relies on toon logic, even though he's in the real world, and even after Bendy became a monster, Boris still takes the time, to say hi to him.
