      They're about the same for both! Both backs are fairly tall and will fit an older toddler. They don't recline completely, but it's a comfortable recline for naps.

    I love all the magic beans videos! BUT if I had one complaint is that I wish the videos showed more of the actual strollers rather than the talking. Like maybe zoom out a little more? Or video the strollers so I can stare at them 🤓 while you talk lol. I hope that makes sense! I’m always trying to get a good look at them while you’re explaining everything but all the videos show is your face talking and then half of the product cut off 😭
    Otherwise thanks sooo much for all the helpful videos, probably the most helpful out there!!

    I would definitely like more feedback on the push of the Minu as well, but I see you have not been able to test it out completely just yet. Are the accessories you mentioned included, or sold separately?
    I would also find it WAY more helpful if you could show the entire stroller, both of them, as you are doing the comparison review. It is helpful to be able to look at the entire product while you are talking about them. Thank you for the folded dimensions, that was really helpful!!!

    I get the sense the Minu is more of an eventual replacement for the umbrella style G-luxe stroller rather than a super lightweight travel stroller.

    • @MagicBeansVideos
      @MagicBeansVideos  6 років тому

      I think there will always be a demand for umbrella strollers. They're at a lower price point and great for parents of older toddlers. The Minu is great but I don't think the G-Luxe is going anywhere anytime soon!

    Great video but I would like to see a side by side of the Mountain Buggy Nano and the new Uppa Baby Minu. Any chance we can see it in the next month please? I need to make my decision soon. My biggest concern right now is that I plan on getting the Mesa Carseat and I dont think it will work with the Mountain Buggy but I feel like the Minu might be too big for carrying on an airplane.

    • @MagicBeansVideos
      @MagicBeansVideos  6 років тому

      Hey there! We don't carry the Nano so we won't be able to do a review. But you are correct, the Mesa will only work with UPPAbaby strollers. As far as using the Minu fitting in the overhead bin of an airplane, UPPAbaby has been testing it on a number of airlines with lots of success, so it fits in many but not all overhead compartments.

    Questions: when people say they gate check a stroller, does that mean they basically give it up right before boarding? Can you gate check any stroller? (like Nuna Mixx2 for example). And if you gate check, do you have to worry about damage or it's safer then regular luggage? PS. Flying internationally

    • @alexandrawelch935
      @alexandrawelch935 6 років тому +2

      Ilya Elis Gate check means you leave the stroller at the gate and the airline puts the stroller into the cargo area during the flight. Once you land it will be at the baggage claim so if you are flying internationally you go through customs without your stroller. Some airports provide metal strollers while others like LAX have nothing and you have to carry your child. We gate checked our Cybex Priam and used a thin red fabric bag to keep it together. we flew international and there was no damage but we may have been lucky...

    • @gjkp-mx9sm
      @gjkp-mx9sm 6 років тому +2

      When you gate check, you take the stroller with you to the gate and it is brought to the gate when you land. It is not sent to baggage claim when it is gate checked. I've had a stroller damaged when I gate checked it, so I wouldn't say it is safer than check it as luggage. Might be smart to have a travel bag for the stroller.

    Is the extended leg rest on the Minu adjustable?

  • @fathaggis
    @fathaggis 6 років тому

    Important to note that the adaptors that make the Minu compatible with a car seat have been delayed. We purchased the Minu primarily because of the impressive folding mechanism and lightweight construction - perfect for city/apartment living. We understood the Uppababy Mesa car seat adaptors would be available in mid June so we put in a pre-order for them. Our baby is now coming early July and only just found out that the release of the adaptors has been delayed until late July, possibly not even until August, according to the Uppababy customer service rep. Now we are left with a stroller and car seat that is basically useless until the adapters are released, with no guaranteed ship date. The customer service agent’s solution was that we should’ve ordered directly from them (because they “would’ve informed us of this potentially happening”) or borrow another stroller off someone in the meantime! If we wanted to borrow a stroller, we would’ve no need to purchase the Minu in the first place. Is the way to resolve a customer service issue to blame the customer? I think not. There is no resolution to this from Uppababy at this point.
    One of the other reasons we got an Uppababy stroller is because it is an American company and reputed to have great customer service. It’s a shame that we haven’t had that experience with them. We are not unreasonable customers and always try to understand limitations and unforeseen delays - it happens. However, it is extremely misleading and dishonest to customers to sell the stroller as “suitable for newborns” with the car seat and from-birth kit (which ALSO not currently available btw) if the accessories that enable that capability are not going to be available at the same time. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this product as a solution from birth until there is a confirmed release date for the adapters.

      Hey there. We hear you, and we're really sorry. You're not alone in your frustrations. When we published this video, we didn't know the adapters would be delayed by UPPAbaby.

      They both recline but not fully for newborn but you can add a newborn pack to either to make it work for newborn. Thanks, Eli

    The sun shade on the minu has 2 segments. You didn't pull it out fully in the video.

    The Babyzen YoYo looks much sturdier and high end than the Minu!

      Yes definitely right

      Actually the Minu has way more robust engineering, as Uppababy is known for. All metal and minimum plastic. They are so bolted in that it's almost impossible for them to fall apart and having both, I find it a lot more stable than the Yoyo. That said, I have not found an airline that allows the Minu onboard so the Yoyo wins for travel purposes.

    Can you please please make a review video about the new 2018 joovy qool? I have been considering this stroller since it was shown in late 2017. Also a comparison video of the qool verse the vista would be a life saver I am hoping to save hundreds because I was set on the vista but then joovy came out with the qool. Please do it the good stuff the differences the full in depth reviews! There's no videos on UA-cam about it and you guys are my favorite stroller and baby gear Channel !

      Hi there - Unfortunately, we don't carry the Joovy Qool, so we won't be doing a review. Thank you so much for watching our channel though! If you're leaning towards the Vista or another stroller we carry, we'd be happy to help you out with your decision.

    Yoyo or minu for nyc? 🤔

      Ah! Will you need to use an infant car seat with it?

      It's really up to preference when it comes down to these two. Since the Yoyo has been around longer, we can speak for plenty of NYC parents that have had a great experience with the Yoyo. You might not be too far away from our Fairfield location - it's just steps away from the Metro North! We'd recommend stopping by and trying both out.

    I liked the minu until you mentioned the handle 😭 Why are they adding dead animals to everything???? I prefer my stroller to not involve suffering 😔
