    When it comes to detailing not everyone is blessed with a garage or shop to work out of. And during the summer months the sun can be a huge nuisance with overheating you and your supplies, creating water spots or sometimes you have to work in the elements and need cover. Here's the pop up tent I use to detail out of and let's talk through what size might be best for you. 10 x 10? 13 x 13? 10 x 20? 20 x 20? Here's a demonstration of what a basic 10 x 10 tent looks like and how you can work out of it. It may not be ideal but for those on a limited budget, space and don't want a lot of effort for setup/teardown here is a great option.

    This is my first time to the channel and I’d be surprised if she’s not married. Being a detailer is one thing but finding an attractive Women that shares the same passion for detailing as you do is even better.💯

    Really good points about setup, breakdown, and storage considerations. I have a 10X20 that I rarely use for those reasons exactly, but I have a 12X12 with slanted legs from Walmart that sets up and breaks down exactly like yours but offers quite a bit more vehicle clearance and coverage. I initially got it just to keep myself cooler while working, but you're right, it makes a big difference with the temperature of the panels, which is great. That canopy in combination with a rechargeable fan has really saved me on sweltering days. Thanks again for sharing the good stuff.

      do you think the canopy provides enough shade to complete a ceramic coating job?

    Thank you for the video Chelsea. Bought the Scrub Ninjas and most of Superior Products products on your recommendations and I love them all.I've been needing a cheap reliable canopy and I will definitely pick the Quest up! Also, thank you for all the help you give in the many FB Groups you're also apart of.

    You always provide the stuff I need for my details. I haven’t done anyone else’s car yet but this is cool for not having a garage and being mobile. Also leaves falling on my car as I wash it.

    Chelsa you will love that having air in the garage . You then can use those new coatings from Scott in that climate controlled garage. So will you be going more home based in the future? Very practical video's and also with with a sense of humor.

      ac insulation is very heavily coated in fiberglass shards. those are liable to get everywhere so id refrain from getting any of that stuffy on your car, scratches super easy.

    Hello Chelsea, Good video about explaining what is the best size for cars. For me, i prefer going to my local underground parking lot instead of setting up a canopy, it's because, i am worried about the high wind blowing it off and eventually hitting the customer's car.

    Madame, in our island we are all year long sunny and under summer temperatures with 80% humidity. Temperatures ranges from 85 to 114 except during xmas time gets from 60 to 75 Fahrenheit but basically same humidity. I normally do detailing from home and have a similar canopy like yours when I go mobile, not often, but have it when needed. Thanks a lot for your experience and education. I thought you already have an A/C that got broken. Great you are going to get it finally installed.
    By the way, one thing to consider is how windy is wherever you are going mobile with the canopy, so you have to make sure to have some type of anchor system else you can damage your customer vehicle.
    Xoxo from Puerto Rico.👍🇵🇷

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  3 роки тому +2

      Yes but I will actually get cinder blocks and prop up the legs so that way I can fit taller Vehicles underneath of it and it also helps ensure that the canopy doesn't fall off a blow away I'll put one cinder block at the base and then another around the legs

      That's a good idea. I've been thinking about getting a canopy for mobile detailing, but I'm concerned about the wind blowing the tent into the car. Trying to figure out good leg weights as well.

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Рік тому

      They will struggle and need to be lifted up over the cab. I’d recommend this one for trucks and larger vehicles (again, lift it up over the cab but there’s more head space and it’s longer) amzn.to/3LWw05g

      It should then but you'll have to extend the legs all the way and possibly lift it up over the cabin roof but it will fit under it once you get the sides over the roof
