This lamps recall my PR hurricane seasons days. I do still have one and one vintage kerosene. Sadly some of the new campers are into (mo power, mo better) LED;s lamps, to each it's own. Hope they find this video and learn a bit and start enjoying the camping atmosphere more. Great video. Keep it up!!
I love our propane lanterns. We use one from the late 80's and another from the early 70's with the angled cone shaped globe. The coolest thing I've bought for them was the chain hooks that wrap around a tree. Great way to hang them if there's no stand or table space.
@AudioThrift I have a few lanterns that I've since retired. They are just shelf pieces. Some are just too rare to use. So I've done the same thing. And Invest in some new ones even though I like the old ones.

I grew up using white gas and propane. Laughters. I don't have the heart to switch to LED

@AudioThrift I actually have a propane lantern with the cone shape globe. I don't dare use it as there's no replacement globes.
@@T260. Oh man… That’s a good point. I’d hate to break it and not be able to replace it. Maybe it’s time to invest in something new.

I have one of those Vietnam War era ice chests too!
That's awesome. Minds mostly use for car trips these days.
