"One of These Days" is the opening track from Pink Floyd's 1971 album Meddle. The composition is instrumental except for the only spoken (or sung) line from drummer Nick Mason, "One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces."
David Gilmour - electric guitars, console steel guitar, bass guitar
Roger Waters - bass guitar
Nick Mason - drums, backwards cymbals, vocal phrase
Rick Wright - Hammond organ, piano (through Leslie 145 speaker), piano, EMS VCS 3 synthesizer (wind sound effects)

When Gilmour kicks that pedal steel into gear...what energy!
This was the song that made me a Pink Floyd fan for life. Almost 50 years later they're still my favorite band of all time, and this song still blows me away as much as it did in 1971.
Well said brother.
THis song is even more mind blowing live seen them twice the first time it was their Encore song Floyd was the best concerts I ever seen. They had a blow up pig floating over the crowd with flashing eyes it was just amazing and when he said " One of these days I am going to cut you into little pieces the eyes were pointing at our section of the crowd it was freaky as hell.
Keep in mind, this was 1971! This WAS the precursor to THE WALL.
You mean The Dark Side of the Moon
Meddle was released before Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here.
One of the best songs to listen live. I swear.
Love the live version of this from the 1971 Pink Floyd live at Pompeii concert👌✌
lol thay just get blown away by this track
Collection of the great Dance songs
Waiting in vain for 9 heads to explode all at once.
A cloud of eiderdown Draws around me softening the sound
in concert, this is the freaking OVERTURE!
Someone check on Soul Train Bro. I think he dead.
😂😂😂he's actually great. He's very serious but accurate.
I love this song !!!!
Headphones don’t do it, surround sound and it jumps from speaker to speaker. Great tune. Pink Floyd, Welcome to your mind.
Best version I think, is live off, 'The Delicate Sound of Thunder'.
1:39; it didn't come in on both, it's two different basses
¡¡Lo más grande!!
Millennials listening to their parents' (Boomers) music...and digging it. Interesting.
Forgot a generation there. Lol. Hello from GEN X. My dad's a Pink Floyd loving boomer, my kids are millennials.
Soul Train Bro needs to cut back on the meds.
Smoking music for sure
you guys are so late to the party ist unbelievable but better late then never and just play the whole LP man
you cultural barbarians 😉
Whoever came up with this mutli reaction, thanks! It's really cool! Peace and chicken grease.
its awesome the work you guys do
It’s sounds so distorted, I hope it didn’t actually sound like this for them
We used to play this hit from Meddle all of the time back in the mid 70’s. I built a huge pair of speakers, put them in the back seat of my station wagon, and powered them with an Audiovox power booster
Sounds even better on acid😳
Value added, promotes songs, promotes channels and tastefully done.
There's a great live version of this song, 1994 Pulse concert.
“This is trippy”. Pioneers friend, check out Piper at the Gates of Dawn album on vinyl stereo.. on lsd if you have :)
Thanks
I dont know why but I always think of an aircraft carrier launching aircraft when I hear it.
Danger zone sounds similar? Could be why!
