This ended the first half of the show, for which they had a stading ovation. I would highly recommend 'Run Like Hell', the song they ended the concert with. Great reactions.
The best Band when it comes to live concerts, 100%. (and the best band ever imo) By the way, This 1994 Pulse tour was held at London earl's court. Its a venue that hosts all kinds of events including concerts
Simply, masters at their craft. I've "had" to listen to this band for the past 45+ years. In my youth, having an older brother, I had little choice at the start. No complaints since. Enjoying your work ladies.
They played at least a week straight at this venue. When the played the US they played in stadiums to 80,000 a night but this venue was only like 17,000 hence all the shows there, all sell outs
The venue is Earl's Court in London and seats between 19,000 and 20,000! They sold out this show at this venue 15 nights in a row! Do the song "run like hell" which is the grand finale final song for the concert which even blows this one away when it comes to the lights and music!
The fact that this was 30 years ago makes this show even more incredible. They did stadium tours with this one. I delivered to one of these stadiums here in Ga at GT Bobby Dodd stadium the last day they were setting up and got a great look around th back stage area and walked around the side area. This stage was awesome and large. It took a couple or so days to set up I remember them saying on the radio if i remember that part right.
I've Been listening to Pink floyd Since I was 15 48 years . At least you know that its a pig not an Armadillo. It is a Trade Mark from the Song Pigs on the Wings from Pink Floyds 1977 Album Animals
the pig pays homage to an album of theirs called animals. on the cover it had a giant inflatable pig tethered to battersea power station. the pig actually broke free and caused flights at heathrow airport to be grounded
The same thing happened when Rodger Waters played at Coachella. The pig was hovering over the crowd when it broke free from its tethers and floated off into the night sky. The pig was found in somebodies front yard in Palm Springs a few days later.
One of my favorite songs. Playing this song loudly used start my weekends back in my college days. It is so neat to watch your reactions to these PF songs that I have known for over 40 years.
Hey Ladies! Phenomenal song by PF!! In concert a fan favorite that blows everyone away!!! Another incredible reaction ladies! Thank you so much! Have a rocking weekend!!!🐖🐽🐷👍😎
This track comes from a early Floyd LP Meddle which includes my fav track ever called Echoes 23 mins long and for very personal reasons its my fav track
Lap steel...not a pedal steel...no foot pedals or knee levers to change pitch...that is why David has to manipulate the block so much to change notes/pitch...Google a pedal steel, they are quite different from what David is playing, and have a much more Country/Western Swing sound. This was a lap steel.
THIS WAS MY VERY FIRST FLOYD SONG TY!!!!!!I WAS 14 THAT WAS 46 YEARS AGO LOL DO YA LIKE OUR PIG ? ITS NOT A VERY NICE PIG BUT HES A BIG PIG!!!! I SAW THE DELICATE SOUND OF THUNDER TOUR BACK IN THE LATE 80S OMG I ROCKED MY SHOES OFF!!!
One of These Days The Pink Floyd song "One of These Days", from the group's 1971 album Meddle, quotes the Doctor Who theme from the 3:02 mark. In the television story The Caretaker, the Twelfth Doctor whistled Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" at Coal Hill School.
I saw the flying Pig for the first time on the Animals tour, totally freaked us out when it appeared. As for this great tune, it was a killer on the Meddle album and always was a killer live. David Gilmour is unreal on the peddle steel slide guitar, I saw this several times live, they continue to shine and always will. Do Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun from Live at Pompeii for more Floyd brilliance. 4 times I saw them live, like no other, always the best show no matter which decade I saw them in, 70s, 80s or 90s, always amazing, Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
Pink Floyd are a brilliant band. My favourite five bands of all time are Sabbath, fan since 71. Joint second place Genesis, Jethro Tull, Judas Priest, Pink Floyd. Check Genesis Tull, Priest.
Check out Pink Floyd “Be Careful With Axe, Eugene” from “Live At Pompeii” and you’ll get Roger Water, who wasn’t in the band in the concerts you’ve watched so far. Roger wrote the lyrics and a lot of the music.
I'm a retired. Navy vet and was at the pink Floyd pulse concert. Please react to the great gig in the sky at pulse. I promise you have not seen anything like it. Please do this for this 68 year old navy vet. I love your channel.
I was lucky enough to see this concert (in North Carolina). They had an airship (blimp) that they flew over some of the outdoor arenas. It was destroyed in a freak thunderstorm while it was moored outside of Elizabeth City, NC. I have pictures of it the day before it was destroyed.
This venue's demolition was completed in 2017, so no longer there, it was an Exhibition Centre, British spelling of centre, as it's a French word in origin.
I was at this gig in Earl's Court, London 1994 in think it was. Same gig you reacted to Comfortably Numb, Shine On You Crazy Diamond etc... The gig where the 1st show was cancelled due to a partial seat collapse as it was about to start and we all came back a week later. Lots of stoned people there, myself included. Most amazing live gig I've ever been too. By some distance. Great reaction as always ladies. Get under that bus, Kathy!!❤
I saw them in 1994 in Arrowhead stadium in Kansas City. They opened the show with Astronomy Domine and as a long time Barrett fan I was over the moon they actually played it.
I love watching your girl's reaction videos, very authentic. Especially the Pink Floyd reactions, this Pulse concert is legendary if you were thinking about checking out other songs from this Pulse concert I would recommend 'Sorrow' and 'Run Like Hell' keep the videos coming! Being Canadian I also enjoyed your Rush reactions too
I always laughing with all ya girls, I love you’re accent! Is it not time that Lullu get some more vitamins, she’s always got cold with her plaid/blanket on hahaha By the way, Beth Hart at Gibson France, tell her you belong to me, Only with piano and without Micro power! Keep going on 🙏🏻
..😜👍Gday gal's and thanks for watching the Pink Floyd One Of These Days..the PLUSE concert is legendary, filmed in 1994 I remember buying it on VHS back then😂I hope you watch more of the concert, cause there are so many more classic songs for you to hear..also check out another great PF concert called The Delicate Sound Of Thunder..that show was recored in 1987/88..the version of One Of These Days sound heaps better, to me anyways..the stage show is pretty good as well for that time, but the PULSE show looks like it was recorded 5 years ago, PF were so far a head of other bands, and used advanced technology for the bands sound..they also rasied the bar for there stage show on that tour in '94...and I love Muma's marshmallow drums comment that was so cute & cool🤘😜👍great video ladies..see ya next time, take care💖
should what the other version first in at Pompeii 1971 this is second, third Dave came back to Pompeii 2016 with an instrument I have never seen.( The only person to play there twice since 79 AD) Starting with the "Wall" concert Mark Brinkman did all their lights ,also Dave 2 solo tours but a smaller budget. You don't get to see this but at the end the are pigs are push out of their stacks.
Yaayyy!!!! Hi Hot Donna. : ) I think the pigs represent their album when pigs fly and this song could be from that album because it's the only song that you see the pigs in. I can't remember which song has the airplane flying over the crowd in it but it's pretty cool too
Cathy..rest assured it will have been described as something far more outlandish than an Armadillo. Your average 'Floyd Fan' back in the day had a range of psychadelic 'candy' on their person to re-stock a psych ward pharmacy!😅 Their whole show is geared up to over stimulate vsual and auditory senses of the audience. Drummer Nick Mason looks more like an 80's yuppie investment banker than a rock percussionist. Plug a sreel guitar into synthesiser and you have the genius of David Gilmour! AWESOME!
I'm with Cathy on this, it looks a lot more like an armadillo than a pig (although the 'pig' was made to look a lot more threatening than your standard porker!).
We can't all be as animated as David Lee Roth, Ian Anderson, or Freddy Mercury. In general, the visuals of people playing music - particularly with instruments - is going to be boring. You can do some stunts, like Hendrix's behind-the-head playing, Chuck Berry's duck walk, Keith Emerson's piano abuse, Jerry Lee Lewis's flailing, or the stuff AC/DC does - but generally the movements are very limited. Singers have more freedom, especially now that we have wireless mikes, but evn so, unless they are lip-synching, they have to avoid getting winded.
Pink Floyd are the Best Psychedelic/Progressive/Rock Band ever !
Agree
This ended the first half of the show, for which they had a stading ovation. I would highly recommend 'Run Like Hell', the song they ended the concert with. Great reactions.

This was at Earl’s Court in London. There were almost 75000 people at this concert. Just an amazing performance by the greatest music band ever

@@deeperanddown Yeah, when I read 75k I was like huh?? At Earl’s court? Not at the same time, maybe over a week
Don’t mean to be picky but I was at this concert and Earls Court only held under 20000 people…just saying
I saw them at Soldier Field in Chicago July 12 1994 !
Huge ,,open air´´stadium in Prague October 1994 - 140.000 people.
The venue is Earl's Court in London and seats between 19,000 and 20,000! They sold out this show at this venue 15 nights in a row! Do the song "run like hell" which is the grand finale final song for the concert which even blows this one away when it comes to the lights and music!
This song was on the album Meddle! Pre fame pre Dark Side and still holds up in 2024!!! This is a great journey y'all are on! :)

Wow, absolutely excellent.
Brilliant song - outstanding performance. Saw them do it live a few times etc etc 😂😂❤

And a very confused farmer found it in his field the next day!
The same thing happened when Rodger Waters played at Coachella. The pig was hovering over the crowd when it broke free from its tethers and floated off into the night sky. The pig was found in somebodies front yard in Palm Springs a few days later.
I’ve never seen this song live! 😮 It was amazing! Great reaction y’all! 😊
Thanks
I was at that gig. Greatest live music experience of my life by far
One of my favorite songs. Playing this song loudly used start my weekends back in my college days. It is so neat to watch your reactions to these PF songs that I have known for over 40 years.
pink floyd my favorite band
This takes me back to the Pink Floyd of the 60's/early 70's. Loved it. Reminds a bit of "A Saucerfull of secrets" 1968
Great gig in the sky at pulse will impress you. It will definitely give you goosebumps. One of their signature songs. You will tear up.

That is some kick ass lap steel guitar by David...and some epic bass by Guy Pratt!
Sorrow! The concert was at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London.

On The Run from Pulse concert is a total mind and ear melter. Sights and sound are sensory overload.
This venue's demolition was completed in 2017, so no longer there, it was an Exhibition Centre, British spelling of centre, as it's a French word in origin.
The only thing missing here a police box.
Luv you girls ❤ brilliant every time

I saw them on this tour in 1994 in Massachusetts. I wish I remember the show better (Ironically, I was sober, because someone had to drive home).

One of the best shows I have ever seen was Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame. Theses guys know how to put on a live show. Entertainment to the max.
Bell situation cleared. Here we go. let me see the vid. ♥️
Thank you ladies..that fixed my notifications❤❤❤
You are so welcome
To me, One of these days turned out to be one of the best performances of the show. It's better than the studio version!!
And todyyy! I'm truly not making fun of you ladies; I really love watching you. Keep going; as the Tool fans say "Spiral out".
This song came out in 1971 and it still sounds futuristic. If you listen carefully you can hear a bit of the Dr Who theme right before it kicks in.

It's not a pig but a wild boar. This is to counter a court ban on the use of the pig following the separation from Roger Waters
They also had a Pig.
I'm sure one of these days you'll react to the '73 live version of Hocus Pocus by Focus! 🙂
War Pigs or Shine on You Crazy Diamond.

Thanks, I told Donna it looked like an armadillo. Lol
Try " Dogs"! Masterpiece!
Watch the video of Welcome to the Machine for a Triceratops
Should have went for the original studio version first.
Is there a Doctor in the House?
No a Rat
Nah... It's an armadillo 😅
David Gilmour said they needed the lights because they are so boring just playing on stage
