- Shooting Cinestill 800t for the first time in broad daylight. I'm pretty happy with the photos I shot of the LA skyline and I'm extra happy that the photos didn't have any light leaks this time lol.

Just stumbled across your work, but these are nice! I just shot a roll of 800T during a photo walk in the day and I enjoyed those much more than my night shots with it. Would love to connect seeing that you're in SoCal as well
DUDE SO GOOOD !!!! Youre making me miss the city scape days bro.
Thanks man! The cityscape days were great haha
Good stuff!!
amzing bro!
Amazing shots! Great compositions! 👏
Thank you so much! 😁
These look so good!! Well done!
Thanks! 😁
reallyreally good test
Thank you! 🙌🏼
I basically tried the same thing, but with no color tweaking. I shot scenes that looked "abandoned" or dystopian - and the color balance of the film stock worked well with daylight + grey concretes/beige to give that look.
That’s good to know. If I’m ever in a location like that I’ll definitely have to try it out. I just wish 800t was a bit cheaper so I could test out more lighting situations without spending so much money 😅
@@jhex Just adopt the mentality I have with film (I shoot 35mm 120, 4x5, and instant....) Just hang a picture of something really depressing. Then, add all the film you want to the cart - and stare at the depressing picture while you click "complete purchase." Then spending all your money on film won't seem so bad.
LMAOOO Might need to try that out before I go on a month long road trip this summer 💀
800T looks amazing in daylight with a bit of post processing to get the colors right. One of my favorite films to shoot regardless of lighting conditions.
It’s a tie between 800t and 400d for my favorite film stocks tbh. Both are so good for different reasons
Nice shots. You could use a 85B Filter for daylight with tungsten film.
Thank you! That definitely would help with the colors. I’m still pretty happy with the what I got without the filter
Great shots 🙏🏼 the colors of the fohotos are amazing in all you videos. You need to do a video about it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks! I definitely will in the future 😁
