Der BMW M42 ist ein Pkw-Ottomotor des bayerischen Motorenherstellers BMW, der von 1989 bis 1996 hergestellt wurde.(1989-1991 im BMW E30 und 1992-1996 im BMW E36).
Beim M42 Motor heißt es ja, die Auslassventile sind Natrium gefüllt. Beim M50 Motor wurde gesagt das auf Natrium gefüllte Ventile verzichtet werden konnte. Im Teilekatalog steht das im M42, M44, M50 und im M52 die selben Ventile verwendet werden. Was ist da denn jetzt richtig?
Im austausch bekommst immer die besten Teile dh du bekommst wenn du neue Ventile bestellst Natrium gefüllte nur weil was im etk gleich ist ist es nicht bei Erstausrüstung gleich
Das ist auch baujahrabhängig. M42 im E30 und sicher auch im frühen E36 hatten Ventile mit 7mm Schaft, während spätere M42, wie auch M44 und M5x 6mm Ventilschäfte haben. Somit tippe ich, dass nur die frühen 7mm Ventile natriumgefüllt sind.

Bosch now has a 4 prong plug.
