I started watching these to just fill some kind of emotional void i had but this one really hit me like a train. There's this girl i've known for most of my teenage life, since i was around 8. I'm 18 now. I've always absolutely loved her but i could just never find the right opportunity to tell her how i felt because i didn't want to destroy the kind of friendship we had because it was one of the few really good things in my life. So i started trying to get into relationships with some people at my school (the girl doesn't go there) and ended up in a really terrible manipulative with this guy and it really fucked me up for a while. I think that because of that, it made me not want to tell this girl my feelings even more so. Anyway, it was my 18th birthday about a week ago, and on that day i really became determined to tell her how i felt. I'd started focusing on myself and building more self confidence and i thought i had finally become good enough to have a chance at telling her. So, completely randomly, she mentions in a conversation she had a boyfriend, and that just, shattered everything. Everything i had been building up to basically my entire life because it felt like somehow i had also lost a friend because i actually cannot bear talking to her because it hurts too much to think that i won't get to be close to her and i'll never be the person that she has first on her mind. I really don't know what i'm going to do now. I feel completely and utterly lost, and I just want to stop feeling like this, no matter what it takes.
