Im also on a fitness journey to better my health and hope that anyone feeling uncomfortable in their bodies can take the right steps to achieve their goals and love themselves
I don't think it's okay for mordbidly obese people to promote binge eating (an eating disorder btw) and unhealthy lifestyles. I also don't believe it's okay to shame people about their bodies either, like, the word fat isn't only used towards people who are well over 300 pounds, it's used for people who have large butts, people who have rolls, people who's stomach isn't completely flat like a notebook, and that's very damaging and can lead to body dysmorphia and eating disorders (like binge eating).
Like yes be VERY real about how damaging this version of body positivity and/or acceptance is but also be kinder to people for not fitting society standard of what's beautiful, healthy, or in shape. It's what causes eating disorders and body dysmorphia for perfectly healthy people (can even lead to people becoming this large).
As someone who is overweight or obese, whatever you want to call it lol, I accept the body that I have and love myself. I am also aware that I needed to make a change in my life to live a longer life. I decided to make changes and went from 296 in November to 266 today in March and im gonna keep going. It's a slow process but I am happy to finally take charge of my life. Stop feeding into this delusional trend and take control of your life people. That's just my opinion though 🤷🏾♀️
When i joined college i got some pocket money which i didn't get when i was in hometown. Now i could eat whatever so i ate.gained 5kgs in 1yr then 10kg in next two. I hated myself to the point i couldn't stand others because i felt they hate me too.I hated my body. Then i had my break up and i shattered. Had to build myself up. I still gained 4kgs more but i started doing gym. It was hard at first but it became my love.I no longer feel like my body is weighing me down. When i walk my steps feels light and full of energy. I still lowkey/highkey hate my body but doing gym was a blessing. My diets are still a mess but i wanna lose 10kgs this year. Also i hate the fact I can't be in pics bcuz camera makes me look terribly fat and with double chin. I am not that fat at all like 4-5kg more than my required weight but its still a lot compared to 3yrs back and depending on my height and age. Also i don't hate fat people. My mum is fat but she works out a lot , eats healthy, diets every monday , walks a lot ... She just has slow metabolism. Same as me. She is probably healthier than i am. Still fat positivity is still not good as i lost my grandmother (also fat, didn't excercise-she was 78-80) to heart stroke... Its a wakeup call yall.
It may sound harsh, but Dee is speaking truth. There was a time when morbidly obese people were considered freaks worthy of being a spectacle in the circus. And this was when curvy women were preferred which was about 130 lbs for a woman around 5'2.
Like yes, obesity is concerning and can be a deadly issue. But It just feels like she’s projecting heavy. Every insult she used is her conservative besties used against her for being trans “self harm” “mutilating yourself” “it’s mental illness” “society making people think it’s okay” I just don’t understand why Blair is talking about it as if her entire body from head to toe isn’t the product of surgery. But I’m not overweight so I really have no stake in this”
That part! Nothing against her personally but she does tend to come with an air of "I'm a right wing transgender, I'm not like the other girls" type ish. Almost like Candace Owens
I’m trying to lose weight. Not because ‘skinny’ is the ideal but because I know in intimate detail the harm this excessive weight is doing to my body. I can’t in good conscience have that knowledge and do nothing about it.
Governments should make it so that if you get above a certain level of obesity, you're mandatorily committed to a special rehab for counseling, lifestyle training and a special diet to get you back down to normal weight. The same should apply to persons who get below a certain weight. Of course, exceptions can be make for persons who become overweight or underweight due to medical conditions beyond their control. And you have to pay for the counseling and treatment if you get committed. You can pay it all in a lump sum or you can have it deducted from your salary as a tax on a monthly basis until it's all paid. And it should be an offense to publish information encourage people to become obese or to become skeletal.
A lot of them don’t realize that being morbidly overweight puts a ton of stress on the heart and even if they try to lose weight, sometimes the heart give out bc if can’t take the stress of working out. Which is insane!
Honestly as someone who a friend who’s considered plus sized she would never sit here and say it’s okay to eat McDonald’s constantly. In fact she’s my ONLY friend currently who’s extremely into cooking and baking there own foods as well as nutritional information for the body. She would never say it’s fat phobic to go to the gym it’s self love to go to the gym. There’s a very fine difference between being big and being unhealthy. when i hear the word fat i'm not picturing 500lb ppl. i think like.. ppl who are 200-250. if you're struggling to walk, i feel like fat is not the word used by most ppl. at least i would instantly resort to "obese." i know nothing about this "movement" but i imagine there's a lot of nuance and not everyone is like "450lbs? yaas work queen, versace boots down, keep it up"

@@Cedricfilms She said that cause her dry humor...not because of what she was saying... Multiple points but I only put one timestamp...I kind of heard her say something once and the beginning of the video and that was it .

Right the both of them are to much XD
Nooooo please god no more Blaire
I thought body positivity was originally for handicapped people or people with deformities
This woman is sassy af lol
Haha she has always been like this. She is a right leaning transgender woman who gets a lot of hate from the extremely "woke" people.

I’m really happy that Dee Shantell is reacting to Blaire white 🩷
“If you wanna ha ha ha your way to the grave that’s your buisness ” LMAOOOO😭😭
I really want more videos like this tbh😊
I've never heard of Blaire White, but I agree with the message of this video. Still, it's funny, after a while I felt like something was off. Something about Blaire's tone and manner of speaking gave me a hunch that she was another one of those one-dimensional sociopolitical commentary channels. The kind that spends video after video, and podcast after podcast, recycling the same old topics and talking points ad nauseam. I find the content of such channels to be very monotonous whether they lean liberal of conservative (personally, I consider myself moderate), if you've seen one video, you've seen them all. Anyway, long story short, I checked Blaire's video list, and my hunch was correct.
You are 100% correct
Your hunch wasnt correct LMAO 💀
U checked her video list but didn't actually watch her videos... tell me a lot about u... Speaking of one-dimensional
@@whalewolf7477 Nah, his hunch was right on target. 🎯

25:42 I AM LITERALLY SCREAMING RN LMAAAO ☠☠☠
dee is correct there has always been thick people but not as much as there is in todays society !!
10:30 Nicocado's makeover is wild
As someone who is overweight or obese, whatever you want to call it lol, I accept the body that I have and love myself. I am also aware that I needed to make a change in my life to live a longer life. I decided to make changes and went from 296 in November to 266 today in March and im gonna keep going. It's a slow process but I am happy to finally take charge of my life. Stop feeding into this delusional trend and take control of your life people. That's just my opinion though 🤷🏾♀️
“They’re not moving”😭😭😭

28:31 not the homophobia🤣
Not the gays being fat now 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
All it took for me was to watch so many people in my life look like they were dying after one flight of stairs... I said hell tf no.
It may sound harsh, but Dee is speaking truth. There was a time when morbidly obese people were considered freaks worthy of being a spectacle in the circus. And this was when curvy women were preferred which was about 130 lbs for a woman around 5'2.
i didnt evenent think aboutt hat and tess is not ugly in the face that makes so much sense now
Like yes, obesity is concerning and can be a deadly issue.
Almost like Candace Owens
the fact that i keep seeing fitness ads through this video
I’m trying to lose weight. Not because ‘skinny’ is the ideal but because I know in intimate detail the harm this excessive weight is doing to my body. I can’t in good conscience have that knowledge and do nothing about it.
I know this is a serious topic but Dee’s facial expressions every time she hears that they died or their weight just make my laugh
Why did Dee say "breathe" like that lol! - 4:12
blair is very contreversial but i cant lie, her shade and one liners make me ctfu
Sometimes i feel like Blair is the last lgbt person who says things that represent us normal gay people who just want to be like everybody else
Never would I have thought in a million years that Dee Shanell would react to Blaire White 😂
I gained weight during covid after I had my daughter. It's hard to move around with the extra weight on you, I can't imagine being obese
You can be 200 pounds and still cook your own foods eat vegetables and work out
This is insane. When is the heroin addict acceptance movement gonna start. It’s no different than this movement.
I'm laughing cus of this girls delivery to these big people 😂 🤣 had me laughing cus everything she said is true, the shade chile jajaja honestly I ain't mad at it jajaja cus chile ain't no one got time to be having health problems #fitlife 👏🙌
I only hear about this fat acceptance movement when it’s someone complaining about it or when Dee is reacting to video of someone complaining about it, so how big (no pun intended) is this “movement”
That part
when i hear the word fat i'm not picturing 500lb ppl. i think like.. ppl who are 200-250. if you're struggling to walk, i feel like fat is not the word used by most ppl. at least i would instantly resort to "obese." i know nothing about this "movement" but i imagine there's a lot of nuance and not everyone is like "450lbs? yaas work queen, versace boots down, keep it up"
Midwest and Texas every other person is over weight
Blaire is too funny and iconic literally a queen 😂
My brothet is a BIG fkn dude, and it worries the sh*t out of me. We plan on telling him about his weight. I got plans to be in my 80s with my older brothers, and I refuse to have something small as no self-discipline(in his case) be what makes that not happen.
At least we know than if there is a zombie apocalypse fat zombie cant run 😂😂
Doctor Mike would DESTROY the quack science in this video.

They don't look that fat to our modern eyes because we've seen bigger and we see it a lot.

I'll pass on this one lol, nothing against the subject, I just can't stand Blaire whatsoever, never saw a trans woman trying so hard to be a conservatives's favourite
