It has become his signiture song and was an overnight success, when he performed it on a Chinese reallity show called..... the singer..... in 2017. Unfortunately this song is full of tragedy involving the death of three very young people, one of them Dimashes good friend. It was featured in the rock opera Starmania, wich deals with depression and suicide. Dimash is more than just his incredible vocals but also his emotional intelligents, his passion for everything he does, his love for family and country and his fans. Dispite his amazing success he manages to stay humble and loyal to his roots. Quite unusual for a man so young. I look forward to more reactions. Thank you for your great and authentic reaction to Dimash. I Dimash is from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and he currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1(B0) - whistle D8 off the piano) At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert). But many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And I absolutely believe this. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and he currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1(B0) - whistle D8 off the piano) At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert).
But many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was amazing.

Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russian. This was in 2018.
The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. These last three songs are mind-blowing and will leave you speechless. I promise.

He sings in up to 15 languages while being fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English becoming a fast third. He sings in any genre that he wants and often times more than one genre at a time in one song. He hits any note he wants and you have not seen the extent of it with this song. He write, he sings, he acts, he plays multiple instruments, he can throw some moves etc. One of his biggest musical influences was MJ and you will see a lot of MJ influence in his movements and some of his songs such as the MV Be With Me. It is in English with a little Kazakh rap thrown in. Another MJ style performance is Zhalyn which is in Kazakh. There are many.
