Haworth Hobble 2017 | 32 Mile Ultramarathon

Following on from February's Double Marathon, March saw me tackle my first ever fell race with the 32 mile Haworth Hobble.
Just a couple of weeks on from the back-to-back marathons, my body wasn't quite ready for another long run, with recovery from a minor ankle sprain very much touch and go.
I knew I would have to be relaxed and take it steady, but perhaps missing the start of the race and having to frantically chase the runners up the hill at the beginning was a bit too much.
Next month by fundraising for Mind sees me tackle another two races, firstly the Cakeathon as a birthday marathon treat, followed up by the unique 'The Drop 50', where I'll be blind folded and dumped 50 miles outside of Huddersfield and given 24 hours to find my way back.
