I recently did some Cape Town mountain biking trails over the coarse of two weekends in the Durbanville area.
There are many different trails, and I only did some of them but to do them all justice I'm going to break it down in episodes.
This is the 5th episode and in this one we're going across the road from where Bloemendal Bike Park is situated and climbing the long steep hill to get to some other trails. In this episode we're going down Bloemslang. This trail gives you a good idea of what a trail would offer during a mountain bike race.

Yes. What skill you must master to endure those technical sections. I'm not used to that type of trails but they sure are fun.
My bottle holder fell of mid ride😂 and my forks are done for

How would you rate the Bloemendal Climb vs. Jonkershoef Irish Climb to the top?
I'm not too familiar with the different climbs and their names. I know of one that is brutal. I think you cone from Conties side with a very steep climb heading towards a mast. I think they call it the Hillcrest Mast Climb. 🤷♂️

Great vid, but that trail really doesn't look like much fun
I agree. But for someone, like me, who doesn't really get a chance to ride any trails this one is kinda hectic. My brake pads were not ready for this one. And I needed them.
