I've used downriggers for trout for 10 years. I still learned things.😊 Eagle Claw has a Kokanee rod that is only $25 +/- s well as Ugly Stik that was $49.99 at a store called Bi-Mart.
Add on: Wish you would show more close up's especially with the stacker clip on, lures, ball-bearing swivel, etc. And personally I use Scotty & Cabela's (the old one before they became a sellout to Bass Pro Jerks!) rod holders on my 16 ft Starcraft SuperSport 16. Similar to this.

Here are the releases and stacker I use. You will want to get heavier lead weights compared to the ones I use as you will be targeting a much deeper depth and want to minimize blowback.
