- If you have already seen a few videos of me, you might have noticed that I like historical old towns as well as modern cityscapes. And if you share share my enthusiasm for historic old towns with me, then let me take you to Dinkelsbühl with my video.
You’ve never heard about Dinkelsbühl? I 'm not surprised. I live in Germany, but I did not know Dinkelsbühl either. Until that day in September 2019, when I set out with two friends to discover Dinkelsbühl. And it was worth it.
Dinkelsbühl is a beautiful Bavarian town in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia and is one of the most picturesque old towns in Germany. The more than 800 years old exceptionally well preserved late medieval townscape (which is preserved in an almost original state) has many rows of colorful half-timbered houses, a towering church, old fortifications and gates and a completely preserved city wall.
I was very impressed and tried to capture the townscape and atmosphere and express it in my video.

Wer auch immer dieses städtebauliche Konzept durchgezogen hat, verdient einen großen Orden. So wunderschön wie diese (Alt)Stadt anzusehen ist. Dort muss viel Einigkeit herrschen, denn jedes allzu moderne Gebäude würde das Bild ruinieren. Es ist ein Genuss dieses Video zu schauen. Herzlichen Dank für diese Arbeit. Gerne würde ich diese Altstadt mal in einem winterlichen Flair sehen, da geht einem bestimmt das Herz auf.
Das ist die Altstadt. Die neueren Gebäude stehen außerhalb im Neubaugebiet und dem Gaisfeld.
Innerhalb der Stadtmauern werden keine neuen Häuser gebaut, wobei ich nicht weiß, wie lange noch, da eins der Häuser wegen einem Brand abgerissen wurde...
Im Winter... joa, naja😅 Hakt ne Stadt im Winter, grauer Schnee an den Straßenrändern und ein großer Baum mit Lichtern vor der katholischen Kirche (kp wie die heißt, St. Georg glaube ich).
Der Weihnachtsmarkt im Stadtpark ist aber echt magisch, gerade wenn Schnee liegt😊
Dinkelsbühl gehört nicht umsonst zu den schönsten Altstädten Deutschlands. Für mich, "die Schönste" !! Ich liebe Dinkelsbühl, und das sagt ein Berliner :)

Bin passionierter Autofahrer, und verteidige diese Art der Fortbewegung im Allgemeinen auch vehement, aber wenn ich mir das Video so anschaue, finde ich´s eigentlich schade, dass diese so wunderschöne Altstadt doch recht überfüllt mit parkenden sowie fahrenden Autos zu sein scheint. Irgendwie passen die nicht in dieses tolle mittelalterliche Szenario. Aber lässt sich wohl heutzutage nicht mehr gänzlich vermeiden. Nichtsdestotrotz ein super Video aus einer traumhaften Stadt.

Meiner Meinung nach, Dinkelbuehl musste das niedlichste, schoenste, charmanteste Dorf der Welt sein. Wenn ein Kanadier
oder Amerikaner zum erstenmal in Dinkelsbuehl hineinkommt,
es scheint ihm als ob er in eine Maerchenwelt oder in eine Zauberwelt eingetreten! Man glaubt nicht seine eigene Augen--ob was er sieht ist die Realitaet oder ein Traum! Das war auch meine eigene Reaktion als ich zum Erstenmal Dinkelsbuehl sah. Ich besuchte auch Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Beide sind schoene Staedten, aber ich denke, Dinkelsbuehl ist die schoenste!
Ja und ich war ziemlich neidisch weil die Leute auch die Türme bewohnen
Dorf ist gut gesagt, wir haben, stand 2021 knapp 12.000 Einwohner. Ziemlich viel für n Dorf xD

Excellent video! I stopped here with a German friend in the summer of 1998 on our way from Nuremberg to Stuttgart. This charming, German town brings back good memories from such a beautiful country and culture.
It's actually right in the middle of those two cities😅

@Ballo Berlin The Walker: Danke für Deinen Kommentar. 😊 Ich kannte Dinkelsbühl vorher auch nicht, ich hatte noch nie von der Stadt gehört. Dabei liegt Dinkelsbühl gar nicht so weit von Rothenburg ob der Tauber entfernt, wo ich schon mehrere Male war. Eine Kollegin hatte mir einen Besuch in Dinkelsbühl empfohlen. Und ich bin froh, dass ich ihrer Empfehlung gefolgt bin. Ich mag Altstädte sehr und fand Dinkelsbühl wunderschön. 😍 Liebe Grüße und einen schönen Feiertag morgen. 🍀

This was once my home. Good old times
Beautiful. Not crowded during the pandemic. I spent a couple of days there in 1971 that were very memorable. I would like to visit again when it is safe to travel but before it gets crowded.
I'd recommend visiting during the "Kinderzeche", but it'll be crowded af then😅

@@MYGEMPICTURES Ich bin da letzten Sonntag gewesen.. Dinkelsbühl ist traumhaft schön.. kann mich aber nicht entscheiden, ob mir Dinkelsbühl oder Rothenburg besser gefällt.. Beide sind der Hammer und mehr als sehenswert
@marcsteppi2192 Ja, das finde ich auch. Rothenburg ob der Tauber ist allgemein bekannter als Dinkelsbühl, aber beide Städte sind sehr schön und sehenswert. 🥰

I visited here in 1971 with a high school music tour. We had dinner and stayed at a hostel overnight. Beautiful. Hasn't changed. I expect more crowded. We visited Venice that trip too. My girlfriend and I walked alone through ST Mark's Cathedral.

The town has really retained its historic charm and it's nice to hear that it has hardly changed. True, it may be a little busier now, but the beauty and atmosphere remain unchanged. It also sounds incredible that you and your friend had the opportunity to walk through St Mark's Basilica in Venice on your own. Memories like that are priceless! 😊🌟

Es gibt im östlichen Grenzbereich BW-Bayern allgemein sehr viele schöne Altstädte .
1. Rothenburg ob der Tauber
2. Schwäbisch Hall
3. Dinkelsbühl
4. Nördlingen
5. Aalen
6. Heidenheim
Usw.

Besonders Schwäbisch Hall kann ich nur empfehlen, optisch wie Rothenburg ein Juwel, nur nicht so überlaufen und liegt in einem Flusstal zusammen mit dem Kloster Comburg .

This city seems to have survived the war without being totally destroyed
correct, we survived the first and the second world war, without to get any damage. And the war of 1618 till 1648, the 30 years war, also without any damage and any death civilians.
@@Fredrik6555 Nah, I read about it because we had to do a history project, I think I remember that the gate (the one where the fire department is, I don't know the name) was damaged a bit... and some smaller damages.

Es gibt jedes Jahr ein autofreies Wochenende. Wenn Du Dinkelsbühl einmal besuchen möchtest, Dich die Autos aber stören, wäre das eine tolle Gelegenheit. Schöne Grüße! 🤗

@@robertfuli8467 An der Kinderzeche gibt's auch keine Autos, aber dafür massive Touristenmassen😂
Lustig, endlich dürfen die Autos (im Film) wieder so fahren, wie es früher mal erlaubt war. Andererseits seh ich es natürlich ein, dass das Schneckentempo besser zu so einer Märchenstadt passt. Hast Du innerstädtisch eigentlich mit Drohne gefilmt oder hast Du Dir ein Street-view-Fahrzeug ausgeliehen?
@Caromio26: Naja, ich wollte nicht, dass innerorts so schnell gefahren werden dürfte, wie das in einer Zeitrafferaufnahme aussieht - egal, um welche Stadt es sich handelt. 🤔 Die Drohnenaufnahmen sind alle von außerhalb aus der Ferne aufgenommen und gezoomt. Im Ort Dinkelsbühl selbst kam beim Filmen weder eine Drohne, noch ein Auto zum Einsatz. Mit einer Drohne IN Dinkelsbühl Aufnahmen zu machen, wäre aber bestimmt super, da träume ich von. In Dinkelsbühl sind alle Aufnahmen sogenannte Hyperlapse-Aufnahmen, d.h. Zeitrafferaufnahmen mit bewegter Kamera - und alles zu Fuß. 🤗
Wie ohne Drohne hast du die shots am Anfang auch gemacht dann geht es doch gernicht?
Die allererste Aufnahme ist eine Drohnenaufnahme, also die, in der die Titeleinblendung „One Day in Dinkelsbühl 4K“ zu sehen ist; und dann noch zwei weitere ungefähr in der Mitte des Videos zu sehen, wenn die Musik etwas ruhiger ist und sich wieder aufbaut. Alle anderen Aufnahmen, also auch alle Aufnahmen in Dinkelsbühl selbst, sind per Hand entstanden. Schöne Grüße! 🍀

Hi, danke für den Tipp! Wetzlar hatte ich noch nicht auf dem Radar, habe es jetzt aber in meine Liste aufgenommen. 😊 Viele Grüße! 🤗
Falls ihr die Geschichte nicht kennt: Im 2. Weltkrieg wollten die Amerikaner Wetzlar wegen der Industrie zerstören, haben durch eine Verwechslung dann aber Giessen (liegt in der Nähe) bombardiert. Gott sei Dank, denn in Wetzlar war ja auch Goethe und so sind der Welt dann auch viele historische Stätten in Wetzlar erhalten geblieben, so z.B. Häuser aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und auch das Haus, in dem Goethes unglückliche Liebe gewohnt hat sowie meines Wissens nach auch der originale Bordstein, wo Goethe gesessen hat.
Ich liebe Dinkelsbuehl durfte dort meine FIRMUNG FEIERN ,ES GRUSELT VON LAKE HAVASU CITY ,USA ,MEINE HEIMAT ROSA GROSSMANN
