One of this video's goals is to get your advice for what videos you would like me to make first. I have more than 20 projects that were filmed but are still awaiting to be edited and published. I know I won't have time to publish them all, which is why your opinion will help me to prioritize my efforts.

Deffinetly the wood stove first and kayak. Was having a boring day on this cold sunday in America. Awesome to see an upload I couldn’t click faster lol
I enjoy all your videos happy to take them as they come.
One or two thoughts on how you might have created the round portal in the cabin.....drill a center pivot hole through logs, then use a custom compass attachment (pivot rod, parallel to chainsaw bar) clamped or bolted to the chainsaw bar. Arranged so the saw is spun around using thin plunge cuts stacked radiating from the center pivot (not going deeper than halfway and repeated on from other side), then the thin biscuits broken away, after the bulk of material removed a final light finishing pass rotating the saw around the pivot at half depth log diameter.......well......that might be how I would tackle such a problem with the tools you have at hand (hope that made sense) . Cheers keep up the great work
Can you make a wire clamper and bottle cutter and send me a set of them
I'd appreciate learning how to dry lumber without the boards cracking.
I'd love to see the phone tower!
YOU THUMBS DOWNERS ARE JUST JEALOUS PEOPLE. THIS GUY IS ONE OF A KIND.
The people who thumbs this man down are not real people. Or they're lazy stupid people who just watch TV and do nothing else. Sheep
This man is a class act
I've been trying to be more charitable in my thoughts and so I am going to assume the thumbs down are just from people who are not interested in this subject, or find it irrelevant to their lives, rather than people who are actively hateful.
A lot of people watch videos on touchscreens. Super easy to accidentally slide a finger past the thumbs down button that way.
Just common trolls to get a rise. Ignore
I’ve been suffering from a mental illness for a long time and have lost interest in doing activity’s I enjoy such as hiking, fishing and biking. I just came here to let you know that you and your videos have motivated me to get up and start doing the things I love again, Thank you ❤️
Edit: Thanks for all the likes and comments! It makes me feel better knowing that people actually care and are supportive ☺️❤️ I’m doing so much better now and I hope you all are too! Stay safe and don’t forget to wash your hands!
It is good to hear my videos have a healing effect, really...
After a quarter century in the fire service and as an emergency medical technician I too suffered from PTSD. A mental injury! Creating momentum and making videos has been one of the most healing things to help me out. Your videos are an inspiration. I completely agree with this person.
@Tacos I completely understand. Depression has affected me that way. I believe there's recovery from mental illness; I'm living proof! Fortunately, we live in an age where medication, counseling and a variety of treatments and approaches are available. And slowly but surely, the stigma and misconceptions are being changed by science and information. Bless you in your journey! Enjoy every minute!👍☺
Praise Jah!
Great.
your projects makes other brushcraft vloger looks like boy scouts.
Compared to this guy they probably are 😆😆
I was thinking the exact same thing. Max is level 1000
Girl scouts 🤭
@a a Welcome to 2020 :)
hey hey now don't be dissin the boyscouts
The bushcraft vise with the airbag pump is genius!
Beautiful! I need to go build my own secret cabin!
Hey! I know that guy!
I see you everywhere now O.o
Next video: Do Russian bears enjoy smooth Jazz?
Straya mate, g'day from the Blue Mountains! Much love to both you legends!
@@danieljamesryan9266 yeah mate wanna go chuck a shoey?
Replanted trees lost in storm , love this man.....
Trees have been replanting themselves for thousands of years.
Bruce G who told you that Al gore ? lol
@@bgilchrist228 True enough. But the success rate from seed to seedling to tree is higher when done in a controlled and protected set-up. That’s why commercial forestry replant rather than wait for Mother Nature to do her thing.
@@bgilchrist228 But this way you get to choose which ones your children will have around. You can make tea from pine needles but roasted chestnuts seems like a better deal to me.
@@bgilchrist228 lol, yes, but not always where you want them.
Quite delightful to hear the words, "I'll teach you plant trees, so you can make money with it." in Russian accent.
Thank you Advoko. Watching your videos has given me peace while living in the city during these chaotic times.
Jonathan, glad to hear that!
I`ve never seen someone aside from Dick Proenneke accomplish what you have alone with skill and ingenuity in the wild. Truly incredible work sir.!!!
Wow, what a flattering comparison! Thank you
Check out Shaun James on his channel, 'My Self Reliance'
@@kazmtablet2146 Shawn is a man-man and bonkers about his wife. Advoko is new to me. Really enjoying this.
They’re very different, but similar approaches. Appreciate them both, and would love to see them come up with a joint-project (perhaps to help those in need, etc.?).
In Russia, rubbing the male population has these skills. You even surprised the author with your comment ))
Damn 10 of this man could make an entire town
Holy shit man. You seem to be able to build an entire city in the wilderness. The resourcefulness of Russians is amazing!
You ask for your viewers opinions? We should be asking YOUR opinion. Fantastic videos!
"Here is an idea I have in mind: I want to make a watch tower that would be taller than the pine tree I use to get my phone reception in the woods. " ))))
THIS!
Yes! This!
@@amorylazlo9579 for the view
You have a drone. Just attach your phone to the drone and fly it high enough to receive texts and messages.
Yes!
As usual with every video I watch my only wish is to join you my friend in the wild.
Best wishes from South Africa.
Get a room lol
You are a joy to listen to and watch.
You ask for advice... I don't think you need advice. Wonderful work.
Genuine genius 👍 Who needs society with skills like that ?
The best thing on the internet.
Man is a workhorse! Talented as well, great English,
Climbed that tree like a champ!
Youve got balls of solid steel my friend!.. Standing on top of that pine tree..!perfect video and superb content on your channel..much respect😎
Very cool.. I very much enjoy watching your videos you are a very creative Man thank you for sharing your unique videos and creations👏. Be safe out there
CHEERS🍻🗿👀
That door is obviously bear safe...Great job..Impressive as hell
The hole for the window was done during the the construction process and then rolled the logs in place with two half moon notches just like the ends you used to fit. Thats my thought. Love the videos. God bless 🙏
You’ve inspired me and my friend to go out and build a fort in the woods!
Glad to hear it))
Yea me too I'm gonna build a castle in the park lol
Who are the few idiots who could give a video like this a thumbs down?
I cannot imagine giving this guy a thumbs down. He is absolutely amazing.
Losers who still live at home.
@@trufantom21 Losers who have enough money to blow it all on a fucking Barbie mansion lmfao - All you need to buy is a piece of land to be able to do whatever you want with it. Where I live, a small spot in the woodsy mountains can be affordable. You don't need a big property. I fortunately have a seasonal job, which could pay for that if I lived frugally in my buddy's tiny hut he has on his farm, working for cash money, and saving it.
GetMeHERE, probably people who lack intelligence and are jealous.
People that have no ambition,or that are in jail and pushed off at the rut they are in.
Honestly...you’re a bloody genius....unbelievable....really really impressive..
This man is an absolute genius
This guy is my hero, wish I had a creative brain like that.
@Antoni Bertolacci lol, I know those pesky lil bastards. Pray you never step on one in the middle of the night when your looking for the bathroom. Has taken out many of father.
We need to see a tree house build..
A high ´treehouse´ or just a safe comfortable platform can be lashed between the tops of several suitable trees. It makes a precious viewing and resting place at the layer between the forest and sky where birdlife and the trees atmosphere concentrates at times. But any construction at height surely demands climbing gear, rigging and special discipline to be carried out - single handedly.
Причем здесь дом на дереве?? Какое отношение строительство дома на дереве имеет к данному видео? Вы похоже не уловили смысла!

I think the watch tower would be a great idea for a video series
My friend, your videos bring lots of happiness. 🍻
Very good work, well presented video as well. Thank you. Best wishes from England

You have one of the best and most interesting channels on UA-cam. Keep up the good work :)!!
You’re a total badass climbing that tree like nothing!!
Even the bears would nod their heads in approval.
Then he stands at the top with no hands! That made my stomach tighten!
@@comedywriter8408 Children in Russia are traditionally babysitted by domestic bears, as we all knows. So that was pre-approved ))
Omg its easy to climb a tree if u use ur four limbs🤦🏻♂️😂
Thats normal stuff for russians
What a brave tree climber you are!
You're a great person and the content you produce is pure art. I hope you're one of the most famous UA-camrs one day.
Greetings from Germany.
Porthole - on the wall, I would put a straight stick into the centrepoint of the window sticking out, the top of which is level with the wood beam, then attach a string to draw out the arc of the window. The pencil would have to slide in and out of the loop to account for the rise and fall of the curving surface of the logs. Once that is marked out, I would use a curved chisel to start carving it out on the inner edge of the pencil line. I think a curved chisel, alternating with a straight wide chisel would do the trick.
Thanks for the feedback. I only used a chainsaw, I will soon show how I made it..))
@@Advoko I don't know if you've answered this question yet, but I would have found the centre of the window on the wall and made a compass to draw the circle that described the cut. The "pin" side of the compass could be segmented so as to be collapsible, while the marker at the end of the radius would maintain the proper angle and distance to keep drawing the desired circle as the compass pin moved deeper into the cut. That is, the compass would not only draw a circle in a straight plane, but would be able to draw this circle on a plane that slid toward the wall as the cut progressed. This could be as simple as having the pin be a spike that was driven deeper and deeper into the wall as the cut progressed, but maybe it would be better to have the spike pass through segments of a tube that were each, say, 1cm long, so that the circle and cuts would be more predictably progressive and more accurate. At a certain point the compass would have to be moved to the interior side of the wall, using the same centre hole.
sir you are stronger than the logs and your thoughts are higher than the forest trees👍👏great job 💪
I think you are the ancestor of the real Russians that survived by miracle ... Way to go Real Man !!!
I imagine Peter the Great would love this video. Definitely something to have been done during the great embassy!
Just wanted to say, I'm love your channel, watching from Massachusetts USA..
You are one tough and smart dude. Much respect.
You're an amazing human being. Unreal world.
Thank you for these. You are an amazing young man!
Excellent as always! A birch bark kayak would be a fun thing to make. Love the cabin especially the sod roof.
Bush furniture sounds very interesting to me.... albeit I did find Your log cabin and chainsaw vids extremely interesting, being a girl, don't think I could do it on my own, lifting heavy cut boards and sods onto a roof :) I have made the odd, and very sturdy, tripod bush side table, and just recently had a tree felled, and got the fella to cut me a table top round from it...
Have just recently bought myself a chainsaw too!!! So Your chainsaw video was most informative and helpful... So facinated by all Your videos, ever so grateful to You Max (and Your parents :) ) I think the vid I was most surprised over, and will make, was Your bee bottle vid... LOVED IT!!! Have kept an Australian 'native bee' hive for the last now... they live in one of those orange roadworks witches hat... and are quite happy and produce very good honey.... not as thick as the normal honey bee's honey, but none the less tasty...
I think another good topic, would be different styled frameworks for growing food... and covering with 'flyscreen'... for protection from insects, grasshoppers and rodents... am in the proccess now, but I am using plumbers piping (15mm) and connectors, with a brick perimeter base, and cover the whole thing with flyscreen...
Much love and gratitude from Australia...
P.S. ThankYou.... for planting all those beautiful tree's... I love tree's.... my most recent tree I have planted was a macadamia nut tree... and have sprouted 20 lychee tree seeds, which I will care for and plant when big enough...
The outlook at the end and the thought you standing there and chat with someone showing them where you are 😂😂👍🏻✊🏻
Youre much much much better than wannabe and environmentalist pretenders. Keep up the good work man you make the world a better place man👍👍👍
there are amazing dudes vlogging out there in youtube land but Advoko goes to the top
Builds an awesome log cabin amongst other amazing tools by hand and proceeds to say, “I’m not a professional builder”. You sir, are an amazing craftsman and engineer.
John, thank you!
You're my hero. You should be president of the World. Thanks from the USA!
Very remarkable on many fronts, including speaking English very well.
i'm never tired of your videos. i want more, more, more! =)
does anyone else want to go camping wiht this guy? my God you'd build a whole village
I think Ray Mears would be impressed by your kayak. :)
Thank you for everything that you create, document and present. Your contributions are a treasure to humanity, if I am qualified to make such a statement.
You surely are !
I so wish for the world to see Max's creations and his love of the wild.
Amazing ingenuity and skill development. I know you don't produce frequent videos but the ones you produce are of such quality that it more than makes up for it. Keep up the incredible work please!
What a wholesome guy
What i liked the most was that you planted those trees
Is there anything this guy does'nt know? He’s brilliant
Just because you're dumb. Doesn't make anyone brilliant.
@@mbomam89 Oh dear oh dear. You clearly need help.
@asonofclay. 1ofmany It’s a kind of expression. Of course I’m sure there are things he may not know. That doesn’t take away from his brilliance.

Well done on your english. Very articulate. Thanks!

Awesome video, thank you for posting it. I'm looking forward to future English speaking videos. Continued blessings to you in your efforts there at the cabin !!
I would put a lift door on the back. Hinged on the top. You have some cool ideas. 👍
Mr. Advoko you are absolutely a genius.
I love tell cell tower idea. There is a channel that does beehives with plastic containers, you should give him a look-see. Now that you mill your own grain... A little honey would be great with pancakes.
I'll admire ...your lifestyle and that innocent , unselfish way to show how...to survive totally in wilderness alone...independently. I hope you'll put more that same kind of videos in the future :)
Why is it so hard to find youtubers that respect nature? Great work, man
Holy hell! Great channel 👍
I thought I was ok at heights until I watched this, my cap comes off to you sir!
I enjoy your English. The inflection and tone is very peaceful. Also your craftsmanship is inspiring. You really should be teaching, our young generation would be so blessed to have a bit of your ingenuity and your temperance.
Thomas, thank you for your kind words!
I am so happy when you post new content. Amazing job keep it up 👍
True "Makers" such as Max are so much more valuable than pro-athletes who get paid millions to play with balls.
quite a statement buddy
He is an inspiration.
So true! This man is a genius and so incredibly capable and full of endless valuable knowledge. I would rather watch this man share his knowledge about anything than any professional sporting event. Thank goodness for UA-cam for providing the platform that enables us the ability to share information with people worlds away with nothing more than a smartphone and a data connection. Truly remarkable times we are living in

Love the phone tower idea
The mark of true skill is to make it look easy, now I feel I could make a log cabin. I fear that I am mistaken. You sir make it look very easy.
Dude, I find all your videos fascinating. I love how you solve issues and repurpose materials. You have a creative common sense engineering mind. It is a gift. I think you should publish all your 20 projects. So what if it takes 2-3 years for you to publish them. I’m sure I’ll be watching. 👍🎥😊✝️
