This mix the "Journey" Mix was my favorite of the many amazing mixes that David did for this song. It's genius. Dancing to this at 3 or 4 in the morning when (back then) the music got 'deeper', the system was boomin' and the lights were low on a packed floor sublime pure joy.

It was a special time of my life and the value is held captive by my mind and talking about these experience do not do the memories justice at all. ONLY those who lived this live could understand and enjoy the behind the scenes of the shows, seeing these artist and performers as REAL people! This specific version was used when the OH shit lights were turned on and the staff would drink and clean up the club ..

No it doesn't! DJs in the 90ies used to be able to choose from a ridiculous array of versions including dubs, instrumentals, vocal hooks, reprises, etc to cut and cue their own very individual mixes, layering other tracks, blending styles, genres, and it was THIS SKILL that made them different. Today, all this useless processed EDM is as palatable as microwaved pot noodles!
