My aunt gave it to me for my 15th birthday and I’m 28 and I still use it. I have so many fragrances but this one is ALWAYS with me! I cannot change it!! 😍
I've been a stay at home mom for 12 years. I just started working again this week. It's so hard getting adjusted but this perfume has been motivating me. Lol I've wanted to own a bottle ever since I was about 15 but it was always too expensive and my husband never caught the hint that I wanted it as a gift once we got married. Lol! So I'm going to buy it for myself now!! I'm so excited! My gift to myself. It was so cool to hear you say it was your reward from your first check. 😍 Great video!
The body lotion was my signature scent. The perfume was too vanilla on my skin...and now they they got rid of the body lotion I feel so lost. Have never found anything that comes close to smelling this good on me. Is there a dupe for the lotion?

Hello Julie! ❤ I've been binge watching your perfume videos, you're amazing! 😀 you actually influenced me to go out and blind buy Hypnotic Poison! 😂 although I didn't realize you were raving about the EDT, I ordered the EDP haha! I don't have it yet, package is still in transit but I'm really excited about it. Have you tried the EDP? I'd like to hear your thoughts on that one ☺
I love Hypnotic Poison Eau de Toilette! I think I wore this for about 2 years straight back then! I even bought the bottle lotion to even intensify it LOL! I also have the Eau de Parfum version and I think it's more intensely floral and gourmand but it does have the essence of the Eau de Toilette. The Eau de Toilette can break through walls but the Eau de Parfum can break through steel walls LOL! LOVE IT! 💖💖💖
Hmmm I do love me an intense perfume, now I gotta go check out the parfum version 😂 especially if it has even more gourmand to it?!😍

With this particular Hypnotic Poison I think it is either you love it or you hate it, but for me it is one of my most favourite perfumes of all time.

So so good, I had a lady at work once say to me " You've got hypnotic poison on don't you?" I said "Why yes!" She said "It smells beautiful on you, I worked in a perfume shop years ago and I'll never forget that smell"

Hypnotic poison is a great scent so sensual and warm
I can remember some 90's teen magazine saying this was Jennifer Love Hewitt's signature scent. It's a shame that they have to keep reformulating perfumes, but the IFRA is strict. Deforestation and all the rules/regulations threaten the production of many perfumes.

I have a 100ml bottle of the 1998 limited edition Diable Rouge🙈😊 It’s been in my perfume collection for years, and it’s definitely a signature scent of mine, worn only on special occasions😊 And it lasts on me for around 14-16 hours🙈😳😄 (I know, insane!😳😧) It has two added base notes as well; Amber and woody notes, which really gives it that extra intense ‘oomph’, even compared to the original vintage EDT😄
This is my absolute favorite thing to smell. I wear it all year round can't get enough of it 💕

Yes my journey with perfumes also started with HP!! First got the 30ml.... now Im on my 100ml. Its pretty expensive 😱 but I always have to have it! Always!
hypnotic poison was the very first perfume that i got. my sister had if and showed me vecause i loved vanilla so much and k gave loved it eve rd since. i find that yhe reformulation doesn't stay on my skin as long but i still love it. i have the edp and even though it's totally different i really love it as well. great video!!! vanilla is my favourite scent. ☺

like a lot of people have said, the opening for me has a kind of "cherry root beer" note that I don't love. but the dry down is to die for. why didn't they skip right to the base?

I’ve had this perfume for a few years I do like it but I feel like I don’t smell it? Am I the only one who struggles to smell it? I spray it on heavy and I just go nose blind to it. 🤷♀️I do like it I think it’s a sexy smell and today was the first time I picked up on the play dough smell that people talk about 😅

I just ordered a 1/2 full vintage bottle (2003) on Ebay but I haven’t gotten it yet- so excited. I heard the reformation is bad and sad. You asked for smells we like- well right now my signature perfumes are Hanae Mori Butterfly, Angel Muse and some days Oud For Greatness😍

i heard they changed the formula in the new version? people been giving bad ratings on dior/sephora site for the new hypnotic poison. I don't know how the original smells like, but I heard it's more musky, woody, bitter, and better! if you've tried the recently released one please let me know if it's the same or not (most reviewers said the new one smells more vanillic and sweeter) I really need the dark/hypnotizing effect the old one has. thanks!
I just got this got Christmas and girl…it’s a wrap! This is my #2 with Burberry Brit is being #1! I love the scent of Hypnotic it’s so spicy and sexy!

I have the body lotion, and to me it smells exactly like a sun lotion or oil I used to have many years ago😄 I guess it's the coconut that gives me the sun lotion vibe. So, to me, this is a 100% summer scent, and not for winter at all. My favourite scent of all times is JPG Scandal😊Now THAT is sexy!😁

I tried Hypnotic Poison because I kept seeing great reviews for it. Some people just love it, but I was so disappointed when I tried it. It really does smell exactly like Play-Doh to me. I'm wondering if there are certain fragrance notes that I just can't smell. I sprayed some on my wrist at Ulta and wore it home. I always have my husband sniff whatever perfume I'm trying, and he instantly said he didn't like it although he didn't say it smelled like Play-Doh.

I tried liking hypnotic poison, but I hated it! Idk why. I just thought it smelled like musky playdoh, and that's all I smelled. It was not good.
It also reminded a lot of snake oil by BPAL, I can actually tolerate that one but still not that big of a fan, and it SO much cheaper.
This perfume SUCKS!! Smells like rubber balloons and playdoh!! Gross 🤮
Most Hypnotic sent for me is a Bbq cheese burger! Do they make a perfume that smells like that! I would eat her up if they do! 🤔

+Carmen Lucas-Torres no pheromones, and animal pheromones will not attract humans if you wear them btw.

Whaaaaat?! I can think of easily twenty with LOTV off the top of my head. Jessica McClintock's perfume smells like straight up LOTV.

i hate this perfume, but i had to watch this review just to hear you talk about perfume :) , but i still hate it with a passion lol...BUT i love sweet gourmand perfumes and lolita is my favourite perfume.and i think of this perfume as being very interesting and very mysterious , i think on you it smells amazing , but even so , i still hate it ,did it ever happen to you ? to smell something and to sort of appreciate its qualities but still to feel like there is a powerful rejection towards it ? this is the only perfume that actually reminded me of something bad that never happened because i never owned it but still, if i smell it , it makes me feel so bad ...

When I first tried this perfume I loved it! The I bought it and after a few months I couldn’t stand this anymore, it is not a versatile perfume, it’s for winter or night, and it suffocates anyone who’s around. You definitely love or hate it.

This perfum make me sick its too sweet in my opinion
I sampled this in a mall after hearing so many women love it. It smelled like someone's mee-maw dumped her 1985 perfume into playdough. Soooo gross.
The smell of root beer is not sexy......
Men disagree. So many men have complimented me when I wear this.
It is a great perfume but unfortunately 99% of the population wears it so it’s not special anymore.

Personally, I think the channel would be better off with less perfume reviews. You seem active in fitness, so more of those videos would be great, or a monthly favorites.
I have been including fitness videos lately here and am planning to film them more and more often. But I do love perfumes as well so that will be an aspect of this channel if you are not interested in you don't need to watch :) And I actually am planning to probably do a May favorites so keep your eye out for that!
