When bert said "I wouldnt know, I thought you were gay" I was thinking the exact same thing! Then the guy "hahahahahaha" bert; "whats funny about it?" I laughed so hard

Lil harsh man the interview actually ended up being real as fuck gotta give Bryan credit for just accepting the shit from Bert. I know that is just berts personality but Bryan definitely was sad… he probably was a huge fan then as the interview went on he realized Bert is just a funny dude
True true. I know this is old and what not. I grew up in this time man. I hate Bryan's questions tbh. He's been in the grace of so many badass bands and the questions need to be badass questions about song meanings, ect.
This is painful to watch.
I know what to expect from Bryan stars interviews but I just feel like this interview was wasted. The Used have a lot to say as a band and I don't really think silly questions helps to unearth them as people. There's different ways to make interviews original and intelligent and get honest answers you don't need to humiliated yourself in the process.
Man I'd love to hang out with the used. They seem so chill and always having good laughs
the first thing i thought of when he said he reads alot on the internet was
"he reads fan fiction"

The used will always be my favorite. they're truly artistic and passionate. I love Bert. Wish he knew what he was going into. these guys arent ur typical band.. but i didnt think the interview was bad... bert has a dif type of humor lol..

Berts not being rude. He has a sense of humor that not many people get or can handle easily. He says "just kidding" most of the time. Hes sweet and cares about everyone just people take him way too seriously.
bryan just doesnt get these guys, he needs to go back to hanging out with andy biersack and let quinn get back to video games

I have to hand it to the kid, he sensed the interview was going in the completely wrong direction and tried to get it back on track. He failed, miserably, but at least he tried. The Used is so above this kind of 'journalism' and the fact that their artistry has endured for so many years should have been a HUGE indication that Bryan's typical questions weren't going to go over very well. Amazing interview.
Gawd, they are growing up so fast. They are the same people in a biggest mind, a changed mind, and always being real. So proud to be a fan, the world need more bands like them.

LISTEN TO THIS BAND ive been listening to this band for about 4 years, still one of my all time favorites
I love The Used and Bryan, but he went at it the wrong way. He asked questions that didn't work for this band. He should have done research on this amazing band. I know so much about them it made this painful and awkward to watch. I went to one of their meet and greats and got to go onstage with them. I can't believe Bryan would ask any of these questions.

Why is everyone freaking out about how they seem rude. They are like the nicest guys ever.Bert was joking the entire time he even had to keep saying he was kidding. He has a dry sense of humor mixed with sarcasm and not everyone gets that.

Maybe Bert does seem a bit frustrated by the more random questions but he still answers everything. Maybe he just wasn't in the mood. He's human and he is allowed to act how he wants to. They do heaps of interviews, what do you expect? If you go and search other interviews with Bert you will notice he isn't a "dick" or anything you're calling him. Maybe this was just an off day.

I almost want a band just so I can be interviewed by Bryan Stars. I love his interviews, it's a break from the reporters who just ask nothing but serious shit. He mixes the fun and serious. An excellent journalist in my opinion. c:

Only 1:16 into this. I had to pause to see if anyone else was tearing up the comments. This kid might have interviewed with plenty of bands, but he's sitting down with one of the founding acts of this scene and without a clue what he's stepping into. He asks what Bert is reading and it's something Bert wrote... Had he even known which of them is the lead singer, he could've pried exclusive tid-bits out of the band's SONGWRITER. *facepalm* To say that Bryan is a tool will not suffice. This kid is the whole tool shed.

+Steven St. John Bert's not short at all, and he had every right to be a dick to Bryan. Bryan is an interviewer, his job is to actually do research on the band he's interviewing. Asking shit like "LOL WAT WUD UR PORN STAR NAEM B ? xD" is stupid and irrelevant. I'm not saying though that interviews can't be fun, but my God, there's a limit.

I love how right off the bat Bert gives him a hard time. Bert doesn't do this to every interviewer, but to some he does. I think Bert could tell that Bryan is more of a silly guy and and he wanted to see how he would handle some ridicule. I think the way Bryan was responding to everything Bert says with "yeah" or by fake laughing shows that he was uncomfortable and that he took Bert's ridicule seriously.
Thats the point. His interviews are pointed to the funny stuff
This is probably my favorite interview of Bryan's ever. All the goofiness and silly questions are why I love watching his interviews, but I really enjoyed the fact that this one got a bit deeper than just any Bryan Stars interview. Good job Bryan! And way to roll with it, even though you were obviously a bit out of your comfort zone (:
Bert's voice sounds so much more different than in my head.

Did you guys notice that when Bryan interviews he has two sheets of questions. He asks general stupid questions and depending on how serious he realised they are he pulls out the sheet of serious questions. I dunno I just think it's really smart.
