Christopher Drew's legacy: being the first one to call out Bryan Stars.
this will forever be the most uncomfortable video in emo history
JOJI
Nothing about this is emo, this is from the scene days
*Cough* Dahvie vanity *Cough*
Honest to god it is
I think so😂❤
that was one of the most uncomfortable and awkward things I've ever watched in my life holy shit
Bryan's a damn creep
Christopher Drew is weird Creep. He deserved to be shamed and I'm glad he was at the time.
All the weird bryan haters just like to see him upset.
@@basementmass5917 weird Bryan haters? you mean the people that found out he was getting underage girls drunk and trying to sleep with them? or when we found out that Bryan exploited the other members of My Digital Escape?
@@basementmass5917 I don't think anyone's "weird" for hating Bryan, the dudes a fucking scumbag lol but Chris is also a pretentious fuck
@@basementmass5917 I will be honest both Chris and Bryan are weird but the thing is that ever since the mde members exposed him bc he wanted to do mde again but with all new 6 members you know him replacing the others who he abused which is the main reason why they all left the group bc it wasn’t about friendship it was about working at a factory bc Brian was never their friends he just saw them as objects bc they were alternative and shit and he wanted like young emo scene fanbase like he wanted that thinking he was all big shots bc he wanted the fame in the emo life so yeah that’s why and the fans knew about this and are now saying these retarded shits like yeah Bryan deserved it fuck Brian this and that but this was before Brian became evil like I’ll never say oh look at this evil individual he sure as hell deserved this shit in his past life like I’ll never say anything like that but confronting Bryan well it won’t be enough bc Bryan well has his true colors that Damon Johnny and the others have seen but I do wish he wasn’t this asshole who people say he is but yeah people do have their reasons and obviously it’s because he got exposed so nowadays people will say that Chris was right all the long well it feels that it just feels like Chris maybe did predicted Brian’s future but didn’t say anything
Christofer Drew warned us...
I didn’t blame him

4 years later... Chris was right the whole time.
SuperByrio I'm telling you
what happened?
Why? What do you mean Chris was right
Fuck bryan stars
Bryan was nice and everything you could ask for in an interview
Why is it 2020 and I’m sitting here rewatching this interview
Quarantine brought us all here
This is because we all secretly despise that he quit interviewing. And that we heard they made him cry
@@saturnn4200 Maybe you do. Bryan stars is a talentless loser.
What's your ig?
Because we FINALLY got election results so what else are we gonna watch now?
Coming back to watch this yet again. I watch it once every year. Still makes me cringe and laugh as much as it did when it was first released. Truly a timeless masterpiece. 🤣
it's like watching history
Lol saaame. It’s been 9 mo since your comment, about time to give it another watch 👍😂
I dont think it was that bad. They were clearly irritated by the interviewers joke questions, and they keep asking him to stop but he does it anyways. This isn't a one sided beat down.
+Ja va (James Van Gelder) Yet they agreed to the interview knowing that BryanStars is all about "fun" interviews.
***** They shouldn't have agreed to the interview then. Simple. Even when he tried to switch it up, you can obviously see they gave no fucks. lol.
MissPistolWhip Exactly I don’t know why people don’t see that 🙄 maybe because they choose not to 🤷🏻♀️ like they knew exactly what they were getting into when they agreed to do the interview with Brian it’s not like he was a nobody back then they knew what type of interviews he did and how his questions aren’t always serious
Or they could’ve simply said his questions were beginning to make them uncomfortable 🤷🏻♀️
You’re watching the wrong interview idiot
I don't blame Chris, "what would ur stripper name be?" Really
What part is that I’m trying to avoid the beginning lol
could’ve gone ab it differently tho
Exactly
True as hell.
I was never a Bryan Stars fan, but yeah these questions were very cringe-worthy and he didn't know how to read a room... Chris was definitely pretentious and annoying too, but can't blame the band for getting irritated by the questions
Hands down the best thing christofer drew has said. Take a look at bryan now. 🤔
he hadn't even done anything wrong yet............

@@dorothygreen7996 Where have they been hahah
But the thing is, throughout this interview the band gave him chances to turn it around and start getting serious, and all of it went right over his head and wanted to keep joking around and when clearly they wanted to speak about their music, this is their job and life, they want every chance to promote it that they can.
I don’t think Bryan deserved all of the shit they gave him, however Bryan should have picked up on the vibe of the interview and taken a more serious route. A good interviewer isn’t just someone who tells jokes all the time, it’s someone who can flow with the tone of the conversation and mine the artists mind for interesting information as they go. I don’t think either was at fault, they just weren’t on the same wavelength.
I’m glad this is still up. Don’t ever disable the comments. This is a piece of history in our community. We all grow as people. All love.
I'm coming back to this video after god knows how long, remembering how I used to think Christofer was such an asshole to Bryan. But I realize now they weren't in the wrong.
I always knew Bryan was a snake
i dont get it, what did bryan did?
Aneurismo Montenegro me either I've only just started watching his videos again and now everyone hates him I'm confused
Captain Cunt i was just about to comment this. Christopher was being real as hell and Bryan was talking about egotistical shit
you guys are aware Bryan is the one in the blue trying to learn about what kind of people these guys are (since thats what he does) and Chris is the one in red talking about how he "loves himself and his flaws cause theyre part of him so he loves them" right?...
I'm so sorry for Hayden, he looks so mad and bored
sameee
it was so annoying how when one of them was in the middle of a sentence Bryan would point the mic at someone else
Exactly!
All of you 13 year olds need to get over yourselves. Bryan was asking bullshit questions and the band wanted to talk about their music, not their legs. For being an "interviewer" he's not very good at it. I applaud NSN for standing up for what they believe in.
+Rock Music News But his interviews are supposed to be lighthearted. Not every interview has to be about the deep "substance", fans like to get to know their favorite bands by watching funny, silly interviews that reveal more about the personality and individual quirks. Bryan was obviously nervous but good-intentioned, that Chris guy was being a dick to him. A pretentious one at that.
+A RJ There's a big difference between "Lighthearted" and "Completely unprofessional".
Rock Music News
They did an interview before with him. If they didn't like his style then why did they agree to go back on? My point is they could've offered their criticism after the interview instead of embarrassing the guy like that. He didn't deserve to have his show be called a joke.
+A RJ ...but it is. It completely is. How is that so hard to see? Yes, he has subscribers but it's not journalism. Just like Kardashians aren't...anything.
+Rock Music News
I don't have an opinion either way on this guys show. Even if I thought his interview style was trash there's no reason to be a dick to someone who means well. They humiliated him on camera because they were acting like pretentious, condescending narcissists. Even when he tried to meet their requests by asking music related questions they still shaded the poor bastard.
when i feel awful , like embarrassed about something i done, i watch this video to feel better.
ME TOO. And the dude on the left is a total mood.

@Smörg hes always been like that. He just didn't show his true colors until recently 😬
when you're 26 and still hang out with kids
A mess
He's now 31 doing the same thing. He's as bad as social repose. Seriously. Both complete Douches. And social reposes Park bench singing is a total mess too.😂
I mean they're both pretty cringey. Cristofer with his sanctimonious hippie rhetoric and Bryan with his dumb questions visibly irritating the band.
By the way, the good part starts at 35:15, god I wasted so much time just waiting to see some drama!
THANK YOU
Best comment by far
you're the best ily
May your shower water always be hot and both sides of your pillow be cold :)
You a real one
you know, I'm definitely with the minority here. he most definitely didn't ask enough music related questions. they were boring, child like questions, and I'd be hella annoyed if someone asked me these questions when I feel I have more to offer. which they do! this band has a very spiritual connection with their fans and they wanna talk about that and their music, not porn names and carpets matching drapes.
+Mina Shea Thats literally what theyve done before in interviews and they had fun with that. If he wanted a serious interview he shouldve told him first so he could gather the right questions. Chris knows Bryans interview style, He knew what was coming up. They were just acting like complete assholes and bullying him (who is a big fan of theirs) for no reason whatsoever.
I assume they were just generally pissed off with Bryan because the supposed rumours about the band breaking up and the way Bryan just played it off like it was nothing when they were obviously pissed off about it. Maybe they would be pissed off because they actually assumed "Well the first interview was fun and a bit pointless but maybe for the second interview Bryan will be mature" but instead he acted like a manchild. And he is a manchild, honestly, 26 year old who asks immature questions to mostly mature adult musicians and has a cringy blonde emo hair cut that makes him look autistic. Bryan got what he deserved.
"spiritual connection with their fans"? He's just another wannabe hipster douchebag.
+Jim Smith he's not a hipster douchbag, he just smokes a ton. if you ever hold a conversation with someone who smoke more than twice a day they usually sounds just like that. the whole "we're all equal," "spiritual connection," "everything is driven by corporate," "be real," and "kill the ego and live in heaven," all that stuff, he's totally further out than most people. that doesn't make him a douchebag, it makes him a stoner.
Mina Shea he is indeed a douchebag. "I'm on a shamanistic path, I don't think you know what that means"? What a tool. As well, smoking a ton makes him just a fucking stoner, not some all-powerful conveyor of brilliance. Huge ego.

“This is for the fans, not this guy.” ICONIC
100 percent agree with Chris
I think Chris handled himself extremely well in this interview, a few times he very politely he asked that Bryan steer the interview back on track because they're here to talk about their music, not talk about why the chicken crossed the road. He definitely held his ground, I'm very impressed with him.
Yes! True! As early on in the interview as when he asked the first question: What is your guilty pleasure? To which Chris responded: "Musically?"
The only really annoying thing about that video is that whenever Chris answers a question in a honest and calm way, Bryan just goes "Mhm. ... yeah .........K , let's move on to the next question cause this shit is too deep for my poor lil brain"
That's so true lol he doesn't find a way to continue his answer into another part of the conversation like good interviewers do
@@jannananaa that's because Bryan had a good understanding and grasp on his audience and what they latched onto. If people wanted to hear pseudo deep bullshit rambling about how "humble" and "real" they are, then they would go watch the millions of other shitty interviews they gave, where they copy/paste the same bullshit, played out responses over and over. Bryan understood how to make his audience connect with the bands that he interviewed, by bringing them down to their level, with dumb humor and such.. Bringing out personalities that the fans could actually relate to in a genuine way.
Also why would they accept an interview from bryan when they have been interviewed by him before and know his interview style. Couldn't possibly be because Bryanstars had a large audience.. "REAL" my fucking ass, they are as phony as they come.
@@transient442 Chris also admitted to being on acid during this interview and if you’ve ever been around acid heads they’re always talking about losing your ego and how everyone is their own god and that we’re all living in our own personal heavens and all that mumbo. Which is fine but obviously that’s not what Brian’s audience wants to hear so he was probably trying to divert the conversation away from all the “acid talk” which I don’t blame him at all for. All these people talking about “Brian can’t comprehend such a deep intellectual conversation” are literally just being dumb.
Honestly I clicked on this video just to see Bryan get told by Chris. Bryan is a joke. He is a 20 something year old trying to be a scene teenager. It's ridiculous really.

I was ridin with Chris this whole time and now these lil nut huggers wanna come back and say Chris was right. Where were they back in 2012?
They all agree with Chris after what they found out about Bryan
I find it really weird
Before the MDE incident
I always thought Chris was right
He's just saying what's on his mind
Cindy Barahona yeah Chris was right. He told Bryan to ask serious questions and he kept asking silly ones
In my opinion I like Bryan's questions. His interviews are supposed to be funny.
But Chris still had to say how he felt. Nothing wrong with telling people how you feel. Some BryanStars fans are butthurt
Notice how at first, Bryan's questions were actually SERIOUS and about music.
And then two years later, when Chris has obviously MATURED, Bryan is asking stupid questions to a band who is incredibly SERIOUS about this band and was politely saying to Bryan that they would like SERIOUS questions.
And if Bryan was a PROPER interviewer he could of JUST asked serious questions about music
Agatha Mayrinck real shit this nigga stupid af
honestly, they do not come off as what they seem.. he seems like a HUGE poser.. from his music hes a totally different person
Agatha Mayrinck but that’s what makes him FUN from the other interviewers not everyone wants to here the same questions and answers literally every interviewer asked the same things ! So what’s so wrong with him trying to just have fun and be different from the rest no wonder he stopped interviewing you guys are just assholes

in my opinion, I think it was kinda dumb to post the crying video.. I feel like he wanted people to feel bad for him. I actually think Chris was really respectful in the way that he tried to give advice and guide you in a more productive direction for your interviews. At the end of the day, they do what they do for the music, they trust that fans don't want to hear about stupid irrelevant questions because that is time wasting. It was a waste of your 7hour drive to ask how they would break up with a girl and it was a waste of their time too. I think the way he was so honest was genuine and you should have taken that to be constructive and not that he has been snobby or anything other than respectful to you for saying that.
EXACTLY he was very positive and had a lot of wisdom to teach ♥♡♥
yes because calling someones profession a joke is very respectful.. gotcha
Well he was being constructive to bryan and i have to agree with him, Bryan went all the way there to ask meaningless questions. Chris was just being constructive to not waste everyones time Larry Leech
Larry Leech Thats fair enough if you felt he came across in that way. I obviously think otherwise

I used to love these interviews as a kid. Or a teen I mean. Now watching this as a 28 year old, I realize how dumb and childish these interviews were. 😂😂😂 The questions are so odd. Makes me wonder if Bryan purposely did this to appeal to children... Knowing what we know now.
Chris has a point though.
If I was on acid, Bryan's interview would have pissed me off too lmao. I'm uncomfortable watching it and I'm sober.
Watching this 10 years later is fascinating. How in god’s name did Bryan get to the level that he did? He’s literally the worst interviewer I’ve ever heard
Kids liked him
different times bruh MySpace was weird
Does anyone remember when everyone got so whiney about the things Chris said to Bryan? And now, everyone wants to come back and say "Chris was right." I was on Chris's side from the beginning. And yes, I did feel bad for Bryan, because I did think Chris was being a jerk, but now, man....he was SO right. I don't feel bad about it at all.
I really shouldn't comment on posts anymore (I'm trying to find an old comment I made on this video about feeling sorry for Bryan and I want to delete it because Chris Drew was right) but Chris Drew was fucking right
I know man!!! I mean, I felt terrible for Bryan too!!! I was so sad and disappointed in Chris! (I never stopped being a fan of course) but now.....I'm like...."Wow. Bryan deserved it." and it's so weird. it's like Chris saw him in the future! hahahahaha 😭😂😂😂😂😂😂

Nah man even though Chris was being a dick BUT was saying how he felt which is fine but dude, whether you're a bryan stars fan or not just understsnd this: new york times showed up and were going to make an article about this and Bryan drived 6 hours for this interview man so how could you blame people being mad at Chris and PLUS people are only saying Chris was right because people don't like what Bryan did in My Digital Space it's like when a friend has a falling out with somone they will say "WELL I NEVER LIKED YOU ANYWAY" they are doing that just because they don't like the current situation. Whoever says that "look at this fucking Aero shirt, wired mic and printed questions it's so unprepared" well all of those things don't matter and he prints out the questions so he'll remember to ask the questions like look, memory is a challenge for so many people alright.

Yea he called Bryan on his bullshit
Seeing Bryan cry in this is so satisfying.
Mind you , Bryan’s fan base was like 14. He is asking questions about body parts, comparing these guys to pornstars, and asking a bunch of Pervy questions.
NSN was like 6 years into a career here and Bryan couldn’t get it together. Nothing was organized and Bryan’s delivery was unprofessional. These interview should have been 20min of amazing questions
NSN was one of the realest musicians ever. Such a mature and well spoken dude. He has a kid now, I’m so happy for Chris.
Bryan we all want the best for you. But you went out so bad dude.
christofer drew should come back and rant on him trying so hard to be scene.
i love looking back on peoples comments defending bryan. how do you feel now that you were wrong
Damn I rewatched this and realized how real Christopher Drew is. Like he takes his band and his music so seriously, and I really appreciate the honesty and realness
Watched the video with an open mind. From the beginning of the interview the first thing that was noticeable was the posture of the band. They seemed tired but ALL of them seemed to be upset with Bryan. Not just Chris. When asked, Chris said they were upset with Bryan starting rumors the band was breaking up. Being this is their occupation the anger is understandable. Then the following questions were taken as disrespectful and demeaning.Chris even tried to steer the questions to music but that was ignored.Once questions went to music they started to open up.Chris's anger popped when it went back to the silly questions again.I counted FOUR times, check it yourself, where Chris had to say "ask us about our music".I've talked to a LOT of musicians. You have to approach each differently. If you interviewed your mom about her cooking would you ask her these kind of questions? They felt diss'd.I talked to them at a gig in Cleveland Ohio at the Grog Shop. Very down to earth and humble but I didn't ask them their pornstar names either.Going to be honest, I don't think they were in the wrong.
Finally someone decided to be fucking real with BryanStars.
11 years later and this is the worse interview ever.
I am completely on NSN’s side. These questions are absurd and they made it clear they weren’t feeling it. “What’s the best way to breakup with a girl?” Asking a guy who’s with a girl?? Like I remember being on Bryan’s side when I was like 14 but this is ridiculous like my god 😅
yeah, i know it’s his gimmick to ask like silly/goofy questions but chris did asked him plenty of times to try and switch it over to more serious questions about their music and such. you can see him slowly growing irritated when bryan doesn’t ask real questions.
bryan: *pulls out a random ukulele* i'M A REAL BIG FAN OF YOURS BUT I'M QUITE THE JOKE TO YOU-
To be fair, unfortunately Bryan’s audience at the time thought asking inappropriate bullshit questions was funny and cool. People gravitated towards Bryan because all the other interviewers asked the same questions “why this album, how’s the festival going, what elements are you introducing in your music?”.
Personally I always cringed at these interviews, but not once did I ever hear scene kids complain about Bryan’s interviews.
Chris did handle it 80% well, but I honestly think he should’ve just asked to cut the cameras and talk to Bryan one on one rather than have the whole band make him feel like shit.
I know right
And I read a lot of comments and it seems no one cares about how bad they treated Bryan
Personally I'm not comfortable with ppl who's like oh look how serious our art and music is and how deep we are and that give us the right to treat others like shit
"I'm a serious artist. Arty art art."
😂😂
this is so accurate
LOL. Nice. 👌🏼
ANDY😁😁😁😂😂😂😂😍
"I also don't wear shoes and I'm a piece of shit." 😂😂
chris was a tremendous jerk during this, but bryan really had every opportunity to prevent this from happening by adhering to chris's obvious attempts at steering things to a more serious direction
Bryan was the one to stir the tension and people don’t talk about that. It was obvious they were upset and he decided to ask if they were mad at him. If he wanted to continue the interview he could’ve cut the cameras and had a real conversation and restarted on a good note. There’s a reason he edited and released it this way.
this makes me so uncomfortable.
Lol same!
christofer drew is not trying to be mean or a jerk... he's just being honest and telling him what he thinks , he didnt purposely try to make him cry.
well he did say that the first interview was amazing and he seen all of the comments about his fans loved it and then turns around to say all of his Q's are bull shit and no one wants to see crap like that and pretty much really talks down on him chis is a bastard and this interview is why i dont listen to them. and for bryan to still goto their show...... it shows who is the real joke and whos the bigger person chis and everything he does is a joke.
you can be honest, in a better way than Chris did it. seriously.. that was just mean what he said to Bryan.
THANK YOU
SOMEONE FINALLY HAS A BRAIN!!!
But he didn't think of what he was saying. If he would have stepped back and thought about what Brian really does, which is show us bands real personalities, he would have been happy. You can't go through life without a filter. It's just wrong.
this was an absurd interview on Bryan's part. waste a bands time and then cry about when the band is being real with him and telling him to stop asking stupid questions.
this is the funniest video ever uploaded on this site. whenever i feel shitty, i just come and watch this and laugh my fucking ass off.
It's been two years already people, get over it. Bryan got over it and you should too.
It's quite painful to watch how uncomfortable the band members look it's like they're begging for someone to save them from that interview xD
This was the most uncomfortable video I've ever seen in my emo phase.
Don't know why everyone is still so upset over nothing. Chris was just honest, not bullying him. he was even apologizing and saying he loved Bryan. Bryan's questions and interviewing just sucks lol.
The guy on the far left is a total MOOD. 😂😂😂😂
Chris was not in the wrong he was fed up with Bryan’s irrelevant questions
He was the first person to call Bryan out
Why are people siding with Bryanstars?! Those men are serious artists and Bryan was only asking fucking stupid questions like "What does this tattoo mean?" And also Christofer wasn't that much of a dick to him. He was calm and just said what needed to be said.
are u so sure did u watch the first interview they wasn't. being very serious about anything.which is probably why u thought he can ask. Those questions because of the first interview he didn't know before hand how they was going to act towards the questions he was going to ask.
Gigi Harris In the first interview it seemed like they were just tolerating the dumb questions and then this interview just put them over the edge.
"What does this tattoo mean" Isn't that stupid of a question tbh
I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but that's a reasonable question.
+Jake Torrance thank you!!
The footage of him crying at the end is like the ending of Blair witch project.
Bryan Witch Project 😂
I love how when he "cries" he films himself sitting next to a dumpster. I guess I'm supposed to feel sorry for him......
I know right
i will admit one of the reasons chris got mad was because he probably expected questions that have to do with like the album. Sure the fans want to hear about new music but they also want to know the man writing the music and bryan was doing that. But Chris just didnt see it the way everyone else did.
They had a first interview
when you take an interview with bryanstars, you dont expects to talk about music for 30 minutes lol, never shout never knew what they were doing when they took the interview.
Also, Bryan's interviews were never solely focused on the music. They were always meant to be laid back enough that the artists can really be themselves and so that the audience can get to know the artists outside of their music.
Exactly
Someone gets it
I'm glad that I can come back eight years later, and see that people have finally realized that Never Shout Never was right the whole time. I said they were right when this first happened, and every Bryan Stars fan came after me.
chris knew before anyone else omg 😂

I actually loved the way Christopher Drew conducted himself in this interview.Kudos to him.
I just realized, I sort of liked their music. Then I saw this. I deleted every one of their songs because I can't listen to them without getting pissed he called Bryans whole fucking career a joke. Even botdf, chill guys, I don't necessarily like botdf, but they let the interview go amazing. This really pissed me off because Bryan worked so hard for this channel, just to be called a joke. I bet Chris wouldn't be so happy if Bryan told him "you should really stop making stupid love songs and focus on more than girls in your music. It's a joke really." That hurts. My rant of a stupid teen girl is now over.
he was on drugs.
_bioLackSek_ So?
Not very "real"
_bioLackSek_ So?Just because he was on fucking drugs dosen't mean that he has to be a fucking dick to Bryan.Bryan is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and he dosen't deserve to be treated like a peace of shit!
#musicislife no I agree very with you I wanted to point out Chris said he was real and professional and I pointed out he's not (sorry for the mixup)
This is by far my favorite bryan stars interview. It really shows Bryans true douchiness.
Called out Bryan on all his bullshit
I used to think Bryan was the victim. As a teenager. But rewatching this as a 28 year old. I feel like Bryan's questions are so childish and dumb. He's very child like. I actually think Chris was in the right here. Even though I no longer like Chris because he's lame. He's weird now these days. But was nice back then.
@@mariahmueller579 how is Chris weird nowadays bros just a regular dude who has a family 💀
@@LosHitmando some research my dude. The guy looks like he's aged 20 years in like 4 yrs he literally looks 50+ years old, acts crazy, spiraling down hill. Is NOT with his baby momma no more and isn't in his son's life because he's been accused of being an abuser. It's a lot and shocked me. Sad really.
I totally see how Chris got frustrated with Bryan with talking about the most stupid and irrelevant shit. Yeah, he probably shouldn't have been that rude at times, but c'mon. They came to get interviewed about their music, not their porn star names or how hot they are in prison terms.
But also look from Bryans point of view he always asks some kinds of silly stupid questions that's what makes his interviews different from all the others plus he's already done one interview with NSN they should already know how he acts and how his interviews are.
maddie hicks I agree, everyone knows what Bryan Stars is about, it's pretty much his signature to ask what your porn star name would be, and again, every body knows that.
Chris could have easily said no to the interview because he obviously knew too what the content of the interview would be
& that's why bryan stars is popular every other interviews out there are the SAME SHIT I can find on google. Bryan ask questions and I can really get a feel of what band members are really like. And Christopher Drew was being a dick about it.
HAHA ITS TRUE WHAT CHRIS SAID
Skip to 36 minutes to see him cry 😂
Thank you
Savage LOL
and in 2019....
I’m still in this era:
*IM AN ARTIST, IM AN ARTIST AND I MAKE ART, ARTY ART ART.*
I watched this video first in 2012 when it was uploaded and almost all of the comments supported Bryan. Now in 2018 I'm seeing it's the complete opposite. Just an observation.
Bryan must have no social awareness. The second he saw it was going left he should’ve just come up with questions off the fly. After a bit you could tell he wasn’t even listening to their answers, he was just thinking about the next shitty question he was going to ask. The kid took everything personally. I don’t even like the way the dudes were acting but my god. Bryan took no responsibility.
exactly what I was thinking... you think an experienced interviewer would be able to notice how awkward those first questions were based on how they reacted to them and switched the topics naturally to be more serious lmfao
Can't believe this was 6 years ago anyone else here at 2019👋🖤......:)
Bryan shouldn't be disappointed or hating on Chris. He spoke what he wanted and that's the point of interviews; to hear what the musicians think and for them to speak their minds. Not all bands are going to be super into nonsense, so don't be frustrated, Bryan.
Revisiting this, I actually agree with Chris now.
me too
totally. you get so many bullshit interviews asking dumb questions like this. no one likes being interviewed about something they aren't passionate about and a lot of artists don't trust interviewers or the press because they can skew things to their own perspective.
+nathan wackett They could've agreed to not do the interview. They've been interview by Bryan before and know what he is about.
His questions were so damn awkward, totally irrelevant and definitely inappropriate and offensive at some points. It was almost like he was indirectly taking jabs at them. no wonder they were mad. especially at the end where he was complaining about driving 7 hours to interview them.
I have so much new respect for never shout never now as a adult. Watching the interview they were very polite and tried to give him chances to change the subject.
"The hardest part for me was when he called this a joke." UHM BECAUSE IT IS A JOKE? I'm sorry, i forgot, asking professional artists what their "porn star name would be" is a "serious" topic. Okay, bryan.
"fall in love as many times as you can in this life because everytime its just as fun" - Christofer Drew with absolute facts
